It's crazy to think that I've lived in Dallas for 10 years and drive by this place multiple times a week. I've never eaten here until today. The barbecue was pretty good and the side dishes complimented the dishes as well. Service is pretty good and everyone is friendly and willing to help out. There's a nice patio area to sit outside if you do not want to sit inside.

Im town and a coworker suggested we try this place. Light crowd for a Monday which was nice. You start with the meats, grab sides pick a place to sit and enjoy. They offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar. I tried the ribs, brisket, beans and Mac. Brisket has a nice smoke to it runs made well paired with the sauce. The Mac and the roll were my favorite but the beans needed more seasoning to me. Pricing on par for bbq. I do wish the pickles were tangy and not sweet/spicy. Just a personal preference

The ribs and brisket were smoked well but a little greasy. Also the brisket had a little too much fat but tasted good. The service was good no issues to report and no one was extra friendly. The sitting area was nice and clean. The restroom was clean as well.

Stopped by Ten50 BBQ The burnt ends were easily the highlight, perfect bark on the outside and incredibly tender inside. Some of the best I've had. Also tried the brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage, both were great. The mac & cheese and potato salad were solid sides, and the banana pudding was the perfect way to finish the meal!

In Texas, barbecue is a staple restaurant. They're everywhere. In fact, where I live there are five BBQ restaurants within a one mile radius of each other. So, what makes a BBQ restaurant stand out when so many are around - the quality of their smoked meats. Ten50 BBQ is one of the stand outs. You walk up (you're still outside) and decide what meats you want. You can get one slice of meat, or order it by the half or whole pound. And their brisket is delicious. My daughter gets the torpedoes - that's a jalapeño with chicken and cheese stuffed int with bacon wrapped around each one. She loves them. Once you select your meat, you then go inside and get your sides. Don't pass up their rolls...they are mouth watering good! And all their side are really good. You know how some BBQ places only specialize in one area. Either they're meats are good but their sides are lack luster - or reverse. Not Ten50. Everything is good! And you have to appreciate any restaurant who places a truck in the middle of the restaurant. Yes, I said a truck, but there's something kind of fun about seeing it in the middle of the restaurant. The whole atmosphere at Ten50 is enjoyable - the food - the restaurant decor - and the people who work there.

Came in about an hour after opening on a Sunday and had speedy service!! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from and lots of tasty meat and side options. The greens and beans had meat but the cold sides, deserts and a lot of the hot sides were vegetarian friendly. The BBQ sauces were delicious and the bbq was cooked well. Did not disappoint and we're glad we finally made it in!

They have their routine down! Efficient ordering and pickup and then there was the brisket! Tender and flavorful with a yummy side of beans. I would visit again. My only suggestion...more options for sauce.

Whenever I visit Texas, I make it a point to indulge in tacos (they have the best ones, even better than California! ) and BBQ. Texas undoubtedly excels in smoked meats. During my recent trip, I visited Ten50 BBQ in Richardson, TX. I arrived just as lunchtime began, so it wasn't crowded initially, but it soon became bustling. Entering the restaurant, you walk through the smokehouse. Here, the butcher asks for your order, weighs everything, and places it on a tray. You then proceed inside to choose your sides and pay. The customer service throughout was excellent - friendly, helpful, and they offered great suggestions. I enjoy a variety of proteins, so I chose a slice of brisket, a rib, half a jalapeño sausage, and one of their jalapeño poppers, along with a side of beans. I started with the rib, which was as delicious as it looked - tender, moist, and smoky, with a fantastic rub. The brisket was next and it was perfectly smoked with that classic Texas texture. Although I didn't get enough to savor the bark, the rub's flavor was delightful. The jalapeño popper was outstanding, cooked to perfection with soft and fully cooked bacon. The sausage was equally impressive. However, the beans were the highlight! Their flavor was intensely good, though I didn't have the chance to ask what was in them. The dining room staff was also very helpful. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the restrooms were clean. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal and experiencing it yourself!

Great atmosphere, the pork chop was spot on, and the service was excellent. Friendly team and very clean!

Ribs, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and the fried okra is to die for

This place hit so well with barbecue, as a person being from the real South of Mississippi you know of course I know taste of barbecue, this makes my fourth time visiting this place. It's a good place to go to. If you have an off day it's a great place to take family friends when they're visiting I mean, they have so many sides that you can enjoy From the service is great. They always walking around making sure you're taking care of from anything you need. They have a bar inside nice bar with all different types of beverages and talking about the meat because it is great it's not that spicy lol what people think barbecue should be but it's not like that and it's really good the brisket from the ribs to the hot links, etc. And the ambience of the place is very very welcoming, especially for families and kids, just a great place to go and have friends or family or just yourself

I was looking for a place that was relatively close to my hotel. I found this gem; showed up and walked away impressed and full! Although, I heard there were better places for BBQ. You know you're at a real Texas BBQ when you see meat menu and you pay by the pound. It makes it authentic when you get a tray with butcher paper as the plate. I couldn't resist and was committed! I got one rib, half chicken, sausage, brisket, and baked beans. To me, the star was the brisket. I preferred the point instead of the flat. It was hands down the reason why I eat Texas BBQ. It passed the "pull test" with ease. You should be able to gently pull on your slice and it should separate easily. It was tender, rich in beefy flavor, and displayed the perfect smoke rings. The flavor in my mouth served up the perfect amount of fat, meat, bark, and spices. It was like synchronized swimming in my mouth. Perfect! The pulled pork was solid, juicy with a nice bark, and the sausage had a nice snap and spices. The chicken was a bit dry and tough. I was a bit disappointed but the skin was the best part of the chicken. I did order baked beans and I'm not used to that type of spice, smoke, and texture in my baked beans. It was definitely complicated flavors. I'm from New England originally. Not a fan of texas baked beans, yet. Service was quick, and the place had a laid-back, no-frills BBQ vibe. Would I come back for another round? Absolutely, did the next day! This time I passed on the chicken and replaced it with ribs. Definitely give this place a try! The line was busy the second day, but the first night was easy peasy! The chicken was what lowered the score for me, but overall solid place!

We had the deviled eggs and lump crab cakes to start, and both were SO good. Prices were great too. Our waitress, Staci (or Stacy), was AMAZING. Sweet, funny, great at banter, and incredibly attentive. Even when she was busy, she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she was at our table, we had her full attention, she checked on us the perfect amount, and we never had to ask for anything twice. She was on top of her game! My only complaint was a really awkward interaction at the end. I wanted to ask Staci two simple questions: whether they carried an olive gin I'd had in Europe (they didn't, but I haven't found it anywhere) and whether I could buy a roll of quarters because we were going to play pool. Somehow this turned into 5-6 staff members gathering around, plus this random blonde lady in a white T-shirt and jeans joining the conversation. Aside from Staci and the blonde lady, no one else even acknowledged me. They just stood there looking at me. It was weird. It felt like a lot of unnecessary attention over two simple questions and made me pretty uncomfortable. Having another customer involved was honestly the weirdest part. It was disappointing because we'd had such a great experience up until then. I went from thinking, "I need to bring my friends here!" to leaving feeling pretty unwelcome. Food: delicious. Atmosphere: beautiful. Prices: great. Staci: WONDERFUL. I just wish the interaction at the end had matched the rest of the experience. I changed my rating from two stars to four stars because I didn't feel like one bad interaction was worth two stars and I was a little flustered when I originally wrote my review.

We started off with a charcuterie board that had meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and toasted bread. It was really good. The bread was able to hold the ingredients and was nice and crispy but not overly crispy. The meats were good and the different cheeses were flavorful with different textures. The fruit was fresh and the nuts were a nice crunchy addition. Very yummy start. We also shared the Tejas Nachos with Brisket. The Nachos come with tortilla chips covered in cheese, queso, jalapenos, tomatoes, and crema. They were okay. The Brisket was plentiful. There was a lot of cheese and queso spread out all over the nachos. It was a little too much. The chips got soggier the closer you got to the bottom of the pile. Our last shared item was the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread. It was okay. It came with an overabundance of cheese. It also came with jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and we ordered it with Chicken. It was okay. The cheese was gooey but overwhelming. The jalapenos added a spicy flavor and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall the restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good service. The counter service, ordering and paying process was quick and easy. Everytime someone brought our food to us they were friendly. The food was okay and literally very cheesy.

The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.
