This location is so convenient especially after a nice hike. I came here with a friend and we both order the Chipotle BBQ Chicken with a salad and mash potatoes. Hands down Tender Greens has the best mash! Always a must even after a workout lol. This is definitely my go to if I want a healthy lunch. They have amazing green juice as well. This is a fave place of mine to go to for a fresh tasting meal. There recent upgrades to the menu are fantastic, especially the bowls and sandwich choices. I would have given 5 stars if the staff were more attentive and less aloof. We stood at the registers with two employees blankly staring at us for over 5 min without uttering a word of help to take our order. The employee who did eventually help us confessed that he would be quitting the next day due to another job offer...TMI please just take my order before you flush your Tender career. Don't love the service but I do love the clean flavorful food here, however the goop lab is giving them a run for the clean food torch and those other employees are more than helpful. Relying on Doordarshian customers does not mean you can ignore your walk in customers. Another funny fact...they do not accept cash payments but they do accept cash tips......um......what? Is it another employee trust issue or are they worried about the dirty tinder? The tip money is apparently disinfected nightly....some fancy food grocery stores are now using a scanner to read the palm of your hand as payment triple yikes! Our order arrived with an entire side dish missing and no capers on my favorite grilled tuna salad nicoise. When I went up to the counter to resolve the matter I was told to wait 5 more minutes to pay for something I had already ordered while my entree went cold. The chef eventually came out from the back to fire up my sides and tossed me up a cup of capers my way from a jar under the counter. Alas the fingerling potato side and extra garlic aoli never arrived and we left disappointed after my friend and I got the bums rush to leave now we are closing at the end of the night.....no apologies just lack of service. Ordered from here yesterday and got the falafel, potatoes and vegetables. It was so bland and full of oil. I ended up ordering something else from another restaurant because this food from Tender Greens I needed some extra TLC aka seasonings. There was so much oil on the potatoes and vegetables it was dripping. I added seasonings, patted away all that excess amount of oil and put everything into my air fryer so it's palatable. read more

This place is great until you order off Postmates from them. I had several times where they are cheap on the portions they give you and miss items. Like today where I ordered a happy vegan salad with salmon along with a side of pearl pasta salad. I frequently dined at the WeHo location and always found its acceptable. The cooks are FIVE STARS.. However the only reason I give it overall 4 star is that I feel that the prices have increased but the I feel the seared ahi tuna has decreased. I wish I could remember the tall skinny guy who works the registers on the day shift at around 3pm. I was excited he told me about the SHORT RIB plate, when I wanted something different than my usual ahi tuna or rare asada. That was delicious in a rich burgundy red wine sauce over mashed potatoes. The Romanian hearts salad comes with a really great CAESAR dressing. (Tip: It's free if you get an extra on the side). I really think its homemade. The ambiance is casual and I like the music they play, not too loud if you need to have a business lunch, and the tables are clean. They did away with the silverware, which they used to have in like a pottery crock. But they do provide you with plastic silverware if you ask. The only improvement I have is sometimes there is a shortage of the slice of toasted bread which comes on the side if you order a plate. They are super nice, and if you see someone with a black shirt, and you have a concern, they will happily correct it on the top. GREAT MANAGEMENT! That patio on the second floor gives this restaurant a ton of points! Two unfortunate issues though... First is with the restaurant's music playing. You see, there is another restaurant next door that has its own tunes bumping, and with two different songs playing at once at a pretty loud volume the experience turns into a desire to just finish food asap and leave. Thank you for reaching out and trying to make it right. My boyfriend and I decided to have lunch at this location since it was close to our work. We have both visited the Santa Monica location and loved it. We ordered the salmon plate and a chicken sandwich. Good but not great. We also ordered a couple glasses of wine. After we finished we decided to continue to enjoy the outside patio and have another glass of wine. Then we noticed a sign set up next to the entrance, not leaning against a wall but set up facing the entrance as you walk in, promoting a 50% deal for all beer and wine after 4pm. So I went inside to order a bottle of wine with the 50% deal. When I ordered it, I was told that he (the cashier) never knew of that deal. I explained that they had a clear sign right next to their entrance. Everyone seemed to be confused lol. The girl stacking the supplies told me she never heard of that deal....so I continued to explain again that it was right next to their entrance. She walked to the entrance, saw the sign, and told me that I was wrong because it was not meant to be there. She then continued to be really rude, treating me like I was stupid. The sign said "Labor Day starts early, 50% off beer and wine". She said "its only for Labor Day". I explained to her why the public would assume that its a current deal because it says that Labor Day starts early. She then continued to look at me like I was stupid and snapped back "no, its for Labor Day". Whoever she is needs to stop working for this company lol someone who can't deal with a customer service issue should not be in customer service. When I asked to talk to a manager (to be honest I was over the whole 50% thing, but her rudeness was over the top unnecessary), I was told the manager was busy working in the back. Seriously??? So then I asked to buy a bottle of wine full price, but was told they didn't have a full bottle chilled. Someone messed up with the stocking. Again, seriously? So then I asked if I could just have two glasses....but guess what, they didn't even have enough for two glasses chilled. No one apologized. No one tried to help me find a solution. No one handled it well. Whoever trained these employees needs to step up and learn how to properly train them in how to handle customer issues better. I've been in the industry for years and my boyfriend currently runs multiple restuarants, this could've been handled better. We will NEVER come back here. Tender Greens as a company is great -quite consistent, good value. This location, however, should not be your only Tender Greens experience. On my visit, my takeout food took a long time despite being fully staffed. My medium rare steak was well done. My carrots were salty. I was not offered a receipt or utensils. The cashier felt untrained (new employees are fine, this was different). It felt like the lowest quality experience by a wide margin. read more

My family and I just had a very disappointing food delivery experience. Not only did it take over 1.5 hours to get our food, but when we opened our bag, we were missing an ENTIRE entree! Never have I had a delivery completely miss an entree. We immediately tried calling the number they provided on their website, and we couldn't get through the whole night. I tried from 7:45p-9pm (when they close) and never once got through to somebody. I even tried this morning as well and the number still didn't work! Anyway, I ended up giving my entree to our guest (the one who's entree was missing), and I had to scrounge up a very quick meal for myself. The entire experience has left us so disappointed in this restaurant. It's a shame because we've eaten here often and always liked their food.
