Another excellent meal. We shared a California Cobb salad with ranch dressing, and the chicken piccata served over linguini. As always, the bread and EVOO are a treat. The full salad was sufficient for two people, along with the shared chicken piccata, which was really delicious. Had such a super nice server this evening - wish I got her name, but she was delightful. Dined by myself, but she was more attentive than ever, even when it was a busy Saturday early evening. I wasn't sure if I wanted the Tostada pizza or the Spicy Chipotle, but with her recommendation, I went with the latter and it did not disappoint! There's also yummy ranch (spicy chipotle style?!) that was on the side. Made for a yummy experience! I also really love the complimentary bread they give especially with the oil and spices. Just makes for a great little treat before my meal. The food came out pretty quickly and don't forget to sign up for their Rewards program too! Seems like a great deal! The restaurant is on the second floor of the shopping plaza, it's clean, some seating while you're waiting (if needed), and some seats at the bar too. The food here was phenomenal today. My son and I met my nephews here for lunch and had a great time. The hostess wasn't friendly but the waiter made up for that. We were seated right away (there were seven of us). We ordered drinks and appetizers. I loved the new shrimp appetizer. So flavorful and delicious served over cabbage. I can have that for a meal next time. It's that good. The pizza was amazing so was my most favorite Thai chicken salad. So fresh and delicious. The right about of dressing and protein. Can't ask for a better salad, but I do need to try other options one day. Haha. ... the pasta my son ordered was so good. Parpadelle with short rib ragu ..... yummm sooo good. The parking structure didn't have a valet attendant around 8:30pm so we just parked on our own and didn't have to worry about validation. The staff helped us really quickly and the food was out in about 15 mins. I got the bbq chicken pizza -- the crust was very thick and there wasn't very much bbq sauce. It felt pretty dry compared to what I remember. My husband got the chicken piccata and it was almost inedible. He loved getting this dish in the past, but for some reason this time was a miss. The noodles were really overcooked, the sauce was VERY salty and sour -- the lemon overpowered everything. It was honestly not what we remembered. I'll get to the point, my girlfriend had the steak salad... overcooked dry cubes of meat on top of wet bland greens, menu called for smashed crispy fried potatoes, the dish came with stale potato wedges. I had the tomato basil soup. Arrived in a pretty bowl tasted like marinara sauce. No garnish, very bland. After interrupting the server from his late dinner break to ask for the check, we were asked if we wanted a to go box because we did not finish the food. I got a coke and the waitress got me some bread while I waited for her. When my wife came, we got seated in a booth. My wife got her Salmon on a plank and I got their Dynamite Shrimp. It did take a little while for our food to come out but it was a problem. I thought the Dynamite Shrimp was okay but I wouldn't order it again. My wife loved her Salmon dish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, fast, yet productive.Got my order right, and came out with my order on timely matter. He was also very personable with a warm, nice smile on his face!! Very much appreciated. These days people barely look at your face, let alone to say hello or smile. Shout out to Mundo!!! I told him that I was going to write a review ON YELP and I just did. I also brought it to his manger's attention. His name is Michael. He was pleased, thanked me and said AS IT SHOUD BE!! I've developed an unhealthy addiction to CPK recently, but out of all the ones that I've visited, this one really takes the cake as one of my "never returns." Between the rude valet staff, the sometimes present CPK staff, or the salty chicken, I'm not sure which disappointed me the most. Driving along the street, I noticed the signs directing me to parking, not realizing that it was valet until I was trapped inside. The real kicker is that the valet staff said it was free and operated on tips. When I went to retrieve my car, my seats and mirrors were all adjusted, the steering wheel had an oily, grimy feel, and the valet staff said $5.00... first and worst valet experience ever. The staff at CPK were present, though it took a while to be seated, and once served never returned. I ordered a chicken piccata and got a Dodgers cheese pizza with mushrooms. For starters - or not - the complimentary bread wasn't served unless asked. The chicken piccata... SALTY is all I remember. Out of courtesy and time, I decided not to substitute it for another dish. But imagine dry chicken smothered in a tub of salt - that's what it tasted like. The pizza was alright, though regular and not so outstanding as to redeem the terrible experience that was valet and the barely edible chicken. read more

It came with a delicious larger than I expected salad. The waitress was terrific and offered me numerous refills of my ice tea. Prior to leaving, a manager came over to ask if we enjoyed our meals. We go to CPK for quick, convenient and good food. This specific location is so unbelievably inconsistent not only with the quality of the food but the service as well. The To-Go orders are correct and edible half the time but the times we've actually dined in the restaurant have been extremely disappointing. You would think that with how empty it is during points in the day that the service would be on it because the restaurant is empty but no. The food is less than subpar most of the time coupled with extremely slow service yet an empty restaurant.... I'm talking like 4 or 5 tables busy in the entire place yet such poor service. read more

10/10 experience. My sister and I walked in less than an hour before closing and were greeted greatly by the host. The main reason for this review is for the awesome waiter, Angel, who just had such a positive vibe and energy. He was very kind and sweet. Can you turn the heater on? He said no it's broken and it has been for sometime.! Fast-forward to current date April 17 same thing it's freezing outside we walk inside. This is a usual spot for my family. The food is always good and the service is great too. A special shout out to Yoselyn and Mundo who are always so friendly and attentive.
