I like this tender greens location and I've always had a good experience when I've come here. Up front, just know that we usually get takeout when we're here. But it's always been a good experience getting takeout from this location. There's plenty of seating inside, there's also an outdoor patio. And there's plenty of parking in the shared lot downstairs. The food is always good, well made, with ample portion sizes, and for a reasonable price. It's all exactly what you would expect from tender Greens, which is very very good food. The staff here is always been friendly and helpful as well, we've had some trouble with our orders on occasion and they're always quick and willing to correct the order. If you're looking for a quick place to grab lunch or dinner I would highly recommend tender Greens and would recommend this location. read more

Ordered a bowl of the rustic chicken soup on Doordash. Not sure if they changed the portion size but it was SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the last time I ordered it. In a time of restaurants suffering whether it's due to the economy or the remnants of Covid where people rather order in than go out I was really pleased I chose to dine in at Tender Greens today instead of ordering my usual from UberEats. Walking in I was greeted by the most beautiful smile from Orelia who came in right behind me seconds from her break super ready to serve. Arlo served me & was more than happy & accommodating to fix my order, making sure I was happy was important to him & the star of the show was Chef Israel who went above & beyond to ensure the steak I've relied on for comfort for nearly 2 decades was cooked to perfection. All 3 had the biggest smiles, Orelia even made sure to swing by to flash another one of her beautiful smiles to make sure I was ok right before I finished my meal. When I had surgery 16 years ago as soon as I was able to eat again the first thing I had for dinner was a steak plate with mashed potatoes & on a bad day like today I'm just SO grateful I can still go to Tender Greens for delicious super affordable food & the service is just as great all these years later. I had a delicious Cobb salad. It would have been even better if it had a few more lettuce leaves considering it wouldn't have added much to their food cost. The 3 star rating is due to the major inconvenience of quickly getting what you are lacking. In my instance I needed an other utensil and had to go back in line to get one. Then realized I. Were an other napkin for a tomato spill and had to get in line and wait to get a napkin. They used to have a little table setup on the side for all of that, but I guess they are controlling cost. I understand this but not at the expense of having a comfortable, peaceful meal. Getting up for my every necessity is not what I expected when tipping for service at the register. Btw I mentioned this inconvenience to the staff at the register and she smiled and responded "yeah I know" as she made sure she only gave me one more napkin! I used to love eating at Tender Greens years ago (pre-pandemic). I have eaten at the Pasadena, Hollywood, Woodland Hills & Studio City Locations over the past 7 years. Sadly, the quality of food has significantly gone down. I don't know how the Studio City location stays in business. The food was horrible. The chicken was dry, the oven baked Falafels were very greasy, the seared tuna was very fishy and chewy (couldn't eat it) and they messed up on the orders. I remember the days when the chicken was so juicy and tasty. Hope they can get their act together - otherwise I won't be returning. I know I will never return to the Studio City location. I gave two stars for the yummy mashed potatoes and decent salad with dressing. read more

Man this makes me sad. I love Tender Greens normally but this location gets worse every time we visit. We always go in, we don't do Uber eats or anything. Last time we found plastic in our sandwich, this time our food was burned, incorrect and lettuce had mold or something growing on it, not to mention how battered it looked. Every time we go our orders are completely messed up, the people act like you're bothering them when you order and if you try to voice that your order is wrong when you receive it, they argue. Our family has now given this place 5 tries from when this all started happening and it's gotten worse each time. Our orders aren't super complicated, we're always nice, yet, we are not met the same and for spending at a place, you shouldn't be regarded as such. If I wanted to just give money away (which is essentially what we're doing at this point, since we never get what we ask for or food is always in questionable condition and quality), I'd give that money to a person or establishment in need not a corporation who is supposed to provide us food and good service for the money. The food was delicious, ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. The order took about a good 15 mins on a Tuesday evening dining in seemed alittle long. Once the food was delivered there was no chicken inside the "chicken pesto sandwich". Took it back after 1 bite they apologized and would remake. Took well over another 15 mins , someone else from my party went in to check on my food only to see it box up on top of the counter and offered another apology. The customer service was non existent, can't blame the employees if it seems the management is non existent so why would they care. Came with my wife's family for her birthday. Food was good but not great. Lots of little hard bits in my harvest salad that almost broke my teeth. Steak came out one level more well done than requested. The food is alright. Nothing special or different from other Tender Greens locations. The problem here is that there's always going to be something missing or not right with your order. More than half the time, you end up with partial food, even if you order something off the menu without any customizations. Almost always, however, you end up with barely any protein while 80% of the plate is lettuce. If you want even a decent ratio between the two they charge you an extra $6. The fault could be with the workers but I'm highly certain it's with management for potentially trying to push out skimpflation tactics and being overall hilariously incompetent. Don't get me started on waiting almost 50 minutes on 1 salad to-go where the cherry on top was they forgot the hard-boiled egg in addition to testing my patience with a nearly 1 hour wait inside the restaurant. The mashed potatoes which have always been amazing at tender greens (even w/o gravy so flavorful and fluffy) but today they were super runny and yellow like maybe they over did it w the butter or something that was not great. Ambiance: 3 stars -- not a date place, more like a lunchtime eatery for local business people or casual dining; a cut above cafeteria-style, though very presentable (however, restrooms need updating/remodeling). Service was fine; you order at the counter and they bring your order to you. But the food was truly DEE-LISH!! I ate in & ordered the grilled shrimp plate with roasted potatoes & seasonal veggies. Even with the less salt I requested, it was YumYumYUMMMM!!! Also took some Happier Vegan home with me, but haven't eaten it yet. I ordered the salmon plate with a side of mash potatoes and baby spinach salad. The salmon was roasted perfectly and had a nice char and crisp to it without being dry. I loved how creamy and smooth the mashed potatoes were! I also really enjoyed how the goat cheese paired nicely with the almond slices in the salad. Also, THE BREAD IS IT!! The only reason why I'm giving this a 4 star is because I also got a bowl of chicken soup and the chicken was pretty dry.
