They were supposed to arrive at 12:00 PM, and I had already reserved my building's elevator specifically for them. From noon onward, I called and texted them more than 10 times with no response. At 2:00 PM, they finally replied saying they had to "reschedule for tomorrow." No apology, no accountability, no concern that I had lost my elevator reservation and my entire moving plan for the day. The next day? They never showed up again. Instead, I got a series of ridiculous excuses -- flat tires, delays, more lies. Absolute nonsense. They never refunded my $100, despite the fact that they provided zero service. This is not bad service -- this is straight-up theft. I hired Lugg to move a misdelivered box that was sent to the wrong address in my name. At no point…read moredid I request assembly of the item in the box, just pick up and delivery of the box. Without authorization, the drivers opened the box at the pick-up point and assembled the contents (a service which was never requested). I knew something was wrong since I was following the progress of the pickup on Lugg's app, and after the team had been at the pick-up point for half an hour I alerted Lugg by email to the fact that there was a problem. They responded rapidly to let me know they "escalated" the issue (so I know they can respond quickly when they choose to). This is the last exchange I had with them. Subsequent emails from me regarding being overcharged have had no response. Additionally, I have since discovered that the cardboard from the box and the packing contents were left strewn over the pick-up property. When I received the bill, the cost was over twice the estimate because of the manhours put into assembling the item. And Lugg is ghosting me. They have no public number you can call to speak to someone. I'm stuck with an unreasonable bill that cannot negotiated. I seriously believe you can do better if you just spend a little more time looking for any other company to deal with whatever you're moving.

You can tell they take pride in what they do, everything was wrapped and handled in a way that made me feel comfortable that nothing would get damaged. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately demanded cash up front and refused to provide any services unless payment was made on the spot. This directly contradicted the prior agreement. After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details. This company demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.
