Went in today with a free teriyaki bowl coupon and was told just because the manger who signed the card was no longer working there they I couldn't redeem it. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing considering this is only my second time trying this place. Stopped by and picked up dinner at Teriyaki Madness tonight. They have a great selection of chicken, beef, tofu, salmon, with all available in regular or spicy versions. Along with the main event of the meal there is a choice of white or brown rice, noodles, or fried rice. Nice options to have as each give a bit of a new direction to the dish. I got the white meat chicken teriyaki with vegetables and noodles and the Spicy tofu with noodles and vegetables. I got the regular size. The regular size is more than enough for one person. Everything is made fresh when you order. They do not put loads of teriyaki sauce on it and give you another small container of sauce for you to add more if you like. So many times these dishes are swimming in sauce and this abundance of the sauce actually takes away from the dish as it over powers the flavors of the ingredients. I ate the chicken for dinner and saved the tofu for tomorrow (they have a two for one special going on). The chicken dish was great, more than I usually eat, but could not stop. Lots of chicken. The shop itself is small but clean and sensible. The counter help is friendly and helpful. I neither saw, felt or had any negatives about Teriyaki Madness and can recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good tasting, reasonable, filling teriyaki based meal. Must say, that I had no problem with wait time. Customers have to realize that cooking food to order, with fresh ingredients takes a bit of time. This was my first time here. We ordered a chicken teriyaki with brown rice, one with white rice and the spicy. They were all fresh and pretty good. I like the idea of the bowls being reusable which is cool if you take it home then you have a lunch container that is microwaveable. I have to say this was a good place and I would go back, I read a lot of the reviews about the staff not being so great for me the staff was just ok until.... I left my purse there by accident and did not realize it until this morning. She ignored me when I walked in and I waited for her at the counter for a good 5 mins, after she was done laughing with her coworker she finally asked me what I wanted and was not friendly. Therefore, I DID NOT leave her a tip for taking my Togo order at the register!!! But when the payment cleared, she in fact DID add a tip herself!!! The only reason I come to this place is for there mere fact that it's literally less than 2 minutes from my house. Otherwise, I would just skip. You can't even call to place an order because their phone is disconnected. We called like 4 times and got the same automated message that the number has been changed or disconnected. Every time we have gone to eat at this place it has taken anywhere from 30-45 minutes for the food to come out. And it's not worth it. They overpower the "veggies" with onions and hardly add anything else. And then when you ask for extra sauce, they give you one tiny little container for it. The wait time!!!!! I was the only person in the restaurant and it took over 30 minutes to get my food. I wish I had read the reviews prior to coming here, I just don't have the patience to do this again.. after looking on yelp I see all these issues regarding time and new management supposedly made it better "I guess", but I don't see it. The lady who took my order was not the most welcoming, like it was bothering her that I wanted to get food. While I was waiting for my food she asked me what my order was again wondering if I had ordered 1 or 2 steak bowls.... This place is not expedient nor do they really care that it takes an insane amount of time to make 1 meal.. On a side note I thought it was actually funny they respond to reviews on yelp apologizing time and again for other people talking about the same thing from months back yet it's still going on... lol. I recently had a hankering for something spicy, savory, and not expensive... which leads me to "Teriyaki Madness" I brought in my family & the first thing I noticed was how nicely kept up & clean the restaurant was; this was to be the start of a very wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, very helpful, very patient, for us first timers, and the kindness we felt coming from all the employees with their pleasing smiles shining their pearly whites brightly and beautifully. My wife, being the danger seeking adventurer in the family that she is, was immediately attracted to one of the newest menu items, the Orange Spicy Chicken Bowl. Spicy Chicken grilled wok-tossed to absolute perfection in a smoldering bath of teriyaki sauce with the ever so slight touch of orange sauce. When she finished with the meal, I asked my wife if she enjoyed it and her response was one word... "Excellent" My Daughter, a devout Vegetarian, went immediately for the Veggie Bowl, a safe bet for any non meat eater, with stir-fried veggies; broccoli, carrots, cabbage, onions and zucchini served with my daughters choice of rice and Teriyaki Madness's many savory sauces this veggie meal is ready to be personalized to your taste and style. Unlike my wife, my child would not stop talking about her Veggie Bowl, telling me it was the best she has had; I mean how good could it be? It's just veggies... lol... Her enthusiasm generated from this bowl of beautifully stir-fried veggies has made me want to return and order the Veggie Bowl for myself. Wanting to try something different I asked for a recommendation, so upon the servers personal recommendation, I tried the Chicken Katsu Bowl; let me say that the copious amount of food I received was enough to take a portion home for later and give me a full belly full of perfectly prepared Panko bread crumbs coated chicken thigh fried to moist perfection, also being served with a house made Katsu Sauce which delivered a savory kick to my meal that I was looking for; served with my choice of noodles that too were perfectly cooked, giving me a dining experience that I will be happy to repeat. It's kinda hidden so I wasn't sure if they were open or not. First time trying this place. It was clean. I ordered a chicken spicy bowl with an egg roll and drink. The food was good. Two things, Is the vegetables were over cooked and soggy; like drenched in oil. And they didn't have any sweet and sour sauce for the egg roll. Customer service was ok. Young adults messing around in the back and an older lady at the register; she seemed annoyed in general. I would go back again for the food, but the restaurant definitely needs to work on being more friendly, and have supplies on hand. read more

Went in for the first time on 3/1/2022 late evening I was greeted by Javier he was very respectful and helpful yes this is a crew is ran by teens and to be honest The whole crew were very friendly and respectful if you go to any place like jack in the box , McDonald's, etc. you will be greeted by teenagers and of course will not have the top 10 excellent customer service but this place was attentive to what I ordered and got my whole order correct not like jack in the box were I have to go back like 3 times The cook made sure they had everything I ordered and if not they offered a substitute excellent for being ran by teens I recommend the spicy chicken bowls everything was cooked excellent will definitely be going again might even sit to eat enjoy laughter and smile rather than depressed moody people read more

What a quick fall from grace that can only be described as terrible management and an out of state investor who thinks they can throw money at a franchise and it'll thrive. We came in tonight because of our pleasant experience last time and everything has changed, employees were rude, kitchen staff was unprepared, food was disgusting, the restaurant was dirty, and they were out of cups, soda syrup, and Co2 . Bell Road is definitely the golden child after this last experience. I ordered the large chicken teriyaki. The chicken was cooked well, but some of the rice was mushy. It seemed like my bowl had 2 different batches of rice. The guy who took my order said the wait was 10 minutes. However, it took 40 minutes to get my order. During that time, I saw only 4 customers left with their food. The 5 employees looked like they were working, so I was really confused why it took so long. People who had mobile orders were waiting, too. There were no customers eating at the restaurant. I didn't notice until after I was waiting for about 10 minutes that the customers all looked angry. The staff was nice and I could see them trying. However, I did have to show them how to put sauce in one of those plastic cups because there was only enough to coat the bottom of the little cup. Hopefully this place can recover because the food is good. Maybe some more training and resources. read more

Came here about two weeks ago to get lunch with my wife. Only saw one employee. There was one young male at the deep fryer trying to get the food out. I waited at the register for 5-6 minutes thinking there was another employee in the back. No one ever came out. Nobody greeted us. There were two other customers at the counter waiting to pick up their food. They said they had already ordered and were waiting for 20+ minutes just to get their food. You would think opening a new restaurant with lots of hype around the neighborhood it would be really amazing. Sadly we walked in and waited 20 minutes in line & finally after trying to place a order they were out of most food options & i was told by the young girl it was at least a 1-2 hour wait. Considering this place was very dirty for a new building and ran by high-school kids.. I'm not to sure what the owner/investor is thinking . Lots of customers were wanting a taste but ended up leaving or just unhappy from what I saw.... I'm gladly considering taking over this unit building and putting a food establishment myself.. get better employees.. give them a bit more pay.. and I'll have service running faster & better.. creating a strong establishment . Let me start out by saying the food was very tasty and the portions were more than adequate. Service was fine as well. The problem is we went for lunch and being a mid-day meal, we just wanted the "regular" size bowl. We were informed they were out of that size bowl and only had "kids" or "large" size. We opted for the large and made it a combo which comes with an eggroll and small drink. Only problem is they were out of eggrolls. They offered crab rangoon as a substitute "at no additional charge". OK...I'm fine with that. I got the cup for my drink and went to the soda machine and got lemonade. It was 90% water. I opted for a different drink and it seemed like it was watered down as well but not as bad. I got a straw and a lid...wait...they were out of lids for the small cup. The food came freshly prepared and was good but the "large" size cost $10 more for the 2 meals than what I was expecting to pay for a lunch...just over $35.00. There is an issue with the franchise, the owner or the manager. They should maintain the materials they need to service their customers appropriately or they won't have any customers. I may go back to give them another shot but maybe not. There are plenty of other options. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. We ordered dinner for our family through their app on 3/15. After arriving at the promised time and waiting another 10 minutes we were told they were out of orange chicken, katsu chicken, white rice and fried rice, essentially everything we ordered. We asked to cancel the order and were told that no one working at the time knew how to cancel the order so we were given the manager's email address and gave them our information. We were told the manager would call us the next day to process the refund. We were never contacted, have called multiple times, hung up on once and told that we would have to just keep stopping in at the restaurant to see if the manager was there because no one else could help issue the refund and no one could tell us when the manager would be in for sure. We never received our food, and were treated horribly for something that is not our fault. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. This seems to be a trend of them not having food items in stock after reading other reviews. I get that you run out of items but it is not right to keep someone's money after failing to provide the food they paid for. Not sure what the manager does if she is 1.) Never there and 2.) Does not follow up by returning calls/ handling business. I will say one employee did send us a picture of the text message he sent to her, as proof that he reached out to her, but she has NEVER called us back to fix this issue. read more
