This was really convenient for a quick and healthy dinner after a long day. Was staying the night at the Home 2 suites Hilton across the parking lot. Walked over, ordered and took it back to the room. The team was helpful and the food was fresh and delicious !! The inside was clean and nicely decorated. Definitely recommend!!

Always super fresh and delicious food, large portions at a moderate price. Sushi is much better than I expected and I always order the 8 piece CA roll so I can have that for dinner later. Great drink selection as well. Service is impeccable, the very nice staff check on you, fake your plates, and provide extra sauce without making you feel like you're stealing. When it's hot outside, the AC in this place hits the spot, very clean dining area, tables always wiped down. Big bonus restrooms are monitored and cleaned regularly. Not a single negative thing to say, highly recommend!

If you want spicey Asian food , look no further !!! This place is SPICEY !!! It didn't disappoint, you can either pick a pre made menu entree or you can build your own meal. I ordered a BBQ BANH MI. This bowl was on fire !!! I mean it was delicious . Ordered a potsticker for an appetizer, they were good, just not my flavor. Great customer service from the employees, we sat outside on a beautiful afternoon and they brought our meal out to us. Would definitely come here again and highly recommend eating here. I would give this place a 4.7 for all around experience. Kudos.

I was excited about this concept and had been wanting to try Tokyo Joe's. I give it a 6/10. Great menu and great variety. I had a create your own bowl and choose White meat Chicken and rice base with teriyaki sauce. I expected the rice to be the Japanese type that is rounder and often called sticky rice and this was not that. The food was fresh and flavorful but I didn't like the quality of the chicken it was more dampish if that makes any sense but oftentimes tempura chicken is dampish so maybe this is the Asian style of cooking chicken. I also got a spring roll. The restaurant is clean and nice and food is fresh and the staff was very nice and the prices were good. Would I go back? Probably not. I prefer "Glaze Teriyaki" which is the same concept and only in New York City.

Veggie bowl with curry sauce, side of chicken. Chicken portions a little tiny. Loved it. But-Some veggies ordered were missing.

I wanted to update my original review after giving this place another try. I ordered online, I didn't see one of the veggies- zucchini-in the bowl. My order was ready as promised, thank you for that. The yellow curry sauce is amazing but is actually moderately spicy, even though it's supposed to be mild. My nose was running by the end of my lunch. I prefer it to their teriyaki. I chose the veggie bowl with brown rice as the base, added the egg, broccoli, pineapple, snap peas, cabbage, carrots, red peppers, zucchini. I also added sweet potato and it was the only veggie I didn't like. The sweet potato didn't have that hearty sweet, sweet potato taste and was almost the consistency of a acorn squash. I wouldn't recommend it as a base. I liked everything about this visit way more than my last.

I'm din with TJ. Last time I asked for no corn and there were some corn in my meal. Staff asked how many kernels. WTF? That should have been my last time. Ordered online today and saw kitchen staff scooping rice into dishes with gloves no utensils. When I asked why I was told 'it's easier'. I wouldn't have asked if I didn't see it with my own eyes. Did I still eat my meal with knowledge of this YES because I was hungry as hell. Don't judge. Then they forgot cookie with the Bento Box Meal. I said my grace though.

Teriyaki chicken bowl with very little chicken. And what was there, tasted like it was boiled chicken. Gross!!!

If you were looking for a great meal at a good price, keep looking.... Tried for the first time. Got a teriyaki chicken and a 4 pc Cali roll. The teriyaki sauce was SUUUPER sweet. And pretty much lacking of any teriyaki flavor. Hardly any chicken on the bowl. Good portion of rice. Wasn't what I expected an $8 bowl to be. The Cali roll was flavorless. Cucumber wasn't peeled. No chunk of avocado. Just some brown avocado smear. ZERO flavor. If I didn't drown it in soy and Wasabi, there would be nothing. All in all, I tried it... didn't like it. Won't be back.

Because of work I'm stuck here in Arizona, I got online looked for a nail place and while I wait I decided to grab a bite to eat. No regrets coming here. I've never ate here before so I asked the cashier for some help. All of his suggestions were on point. The cookie was very impressive. It had a fresh just baked full of flavor. The vegetables were fresh not over cooked. The rice, sushi and Salmon were on point. If ever I'm in the area again I'll know where to go. There is plenty of parking . I bobtailed out here and found a spot for my truck. Yes I highly recommend this place you'll enjoy your meal. Thanks joes sushi and staff.

Friday night headed to a concert needed some quick bites! This place was fire!! Very friendly service, and cooks! They made sure we were satisfied. We ordered a poke bowl, spring rolls and California poke roll. It was Delicious, fresh and tasty!! They originally brought out a California roll, but as soon as i took it back to the counter they made it right and fast. The poke bowl was so fresh and so many options to create your own!! Definitely a gem we will be back to for fast sushi without have to do the entire restaurant experience.

I'll start with this place should be called Tokyo NO's . I wanted to just get something light and fresh so I thought eh teriyaki chicken bowl. I've never had this place always go with Waba( man what a mistake ) chicken super bland . The spicy teriyaki was just teriyaki sauce ? The yellow curry I'll give that to them was tasty! BUT, the chicken was so dry and the toppings you can add and veggie were minimal. The workers will all awesome and super friendly but doesn't save the food quality .

This was our first time eating at Tokyo Joe's, and we were really impressed. There are not many places we can eat full meals as a family, as we adults are picky eaters and our son is autistic and has a limited diet. I had the ahi tuna poke bowl. It was delicious. I think my only quibble is that they added a lot of wonton strips on top--if you look at the picture, it actually looks alike a bowl of cereal! But everything tasted great and fresh. My husband had a bento box with beef, veggies, and gyoza, and was quite happy. It's hard to find good gyoza in Arizona, but they did it well here. And our son had the kid's meal macaroni and cheese. It looked like the Kraft stuff, which pleased him. He also had the chocolate cookie (well, most of it) and it was freshly-baked and very good. I had to have a sample for quality assurance, of course. The place was kept clean even though it was quite busy at 11am on a Sunday. As we prepared to leave, a gentleman came around to clean our table and checked to make sure we liked everything. I'm looking forward to coming here again!

From an Asian food perspective, I'd give it a 2/5 -- otherwise maybe closer to a 3/5 overall. Service was average, and the overall atmosphere felt more Hispanic-inspired than Japanese fusion. The mango margarita was actually great though -- definitely my favorite part of the experience. As for the food, nothing really stood out. The edamame was overly cooked and mushy. The chicken and shrimp fried rice was disappointing because the chicken tasted hard and chewy, almost feels like leftover chicken reheated. The calamari was okay, very bland, nothing special. The bathroom could also use some work, especially if the restaurant is aiming for a slightly more upscale environment. Overall, if you're coming for the fusion vibe and drinks, you may enjoy it. Although, I'd still probably go to another fusion restaurant with better quality food and better options. I personally wouldn't return, especially considering the price and food quality.

Also huge shoutout to our server -- phenomenal service from start to finish. The restaurant itself is adorable too, with handmade art pieces and even beautiful purses imported from Cambodia for sale. They communicated their levels as #5 medium, #10 hot and #15 very hot .Didn't sound like they did in between numbers and it seemed like a strange numbering system. The chilli crisp oil on the table was spicy so we started with Cambodian sour soup at medium spice (#5 ) It usually has chicken broth and fish sauce I believe but the owner made it vegetarian for us. The soup was good but it felt less spicy then we wanted. The tartness of the soup was really good though and as we ate more of the bottom of it it had a tad more spice. It was also good with the table chilli crisp oil. It came in a hot pot as we love and they refilled the candle for us. Their spoons were awkward for the shape of the hotpot and it was a little hard to scoop out the soup. Next we decided to try a curry. All their curries didn't have chicken stock. The yellow one also didn't have shrimp paste we were told and we decided to go with that one. We ordered it at #10 out of 15 spice level with tofu and it also came with some veggies. #10 was flavorful but we probably would have been fine with the highest #15 spice level here. When I walked around to see the art in the restaurant I saw a big sign on a monitor saying they don't refund plates that are too spicy. The yellow curry did feel different than a typical Thai yellow curry which was fun and was good. We definitely would go with the highest spice level here if we were to be back here and I think we would have liked it more that way. Good spot for vegan and vegetarian options. Based on this one experience i'd give it 3.5 stars. I'd have to try more and at the higher spice levels to decide between 3 stars or 4 stars. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! The items we enjoyed most were the Teriyaki Chicken which came atop a bed of cabbage and broccoli, Fried Rice (although, I'd probably get it with a different protein, spam wasn't my personal choice but it was good), the Shrimp Broccoli, as well as the Spring Rolls & Crab Rangoons. The two dishes that had vegetables were my favorites since the chicken & shrimp were cooked well and the vegetables were done well, crunchy and satisfying. The appetizers were fried nicely, crispy. The smoothie and Thai Tea were good. The Orange Chicken wasn't bad but had more breading than I prefer and also the sauce all pooled to the bottom, it just needed to have been tossed a little more. Macaroni Salad was as expected but nothing special, same with the Chicken Katsu but the sauce was pretty good. The Vegetable Lo Mein is probably the only dish I'd say to skip altogether; overall, bland compared to the other items. If you're in the area, check them out. They were very friendly and efficient in getting everything out to us quickly!
