Very clean restaurant, a fun place to go, especially for special events. They have flat screens and you can request to have what you want to be shown on the TV. However, if somebody else is before you that person gets the first choice, Our waitress Nancy was so amazing. She reminds me of my friend Laura, and then I met the manager Jennifer very nice. two nice individuals. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the black and blue salad, which was delectable, the bread that is served hot with brown sugar and butter wasdelectable. You will not be disappointed in this restaurant or this experience. Steak tips- I asked waitress if she needed temperature, and she said it is always medium well because the pieces are so small. WOEFULLY overdone, and not a touch of seasoning on it...?. They should be cooked quickly. They were tough and dry. Potato was good, service was great, salad was a little limp. "Au jus" was flavorless. This was a quick little dinner after some time out shopping . Me and my friend were driving around deciding what was going to do the trick lol. We picked this place and I'm glad we did. Service was super fast and friendly. She wanted allll the rolls and a blooming onion . I chose the petite filet and baked potato. We had one drink apiece , for me, the Moscow mule and for her a Corona with lime . Our server was fabulous and very attentive to us. Finding a place to go to on a Saturday with a toddler can be rough at times. My toddler is so picky. Some restaurants can be so loud and which tends to aggravate a whinny child even more . This place was a big hit for us. It wasn't too pack so we were able to sit in a smaller section of tables by ourselves which was great. My daughter was able to make as much noise as she wanted with out disturbing others. They also gave her some crayons and paper to keep her entertained. The bread and honey butter that they give out was great too. My daughter loved it as well along with the waffle fries. They had Long Island very cheap but we didn't want any liquor. We took my parents to lunch yesterday, 11/22/24 at about 1 pm. We were a party of 4. This IGNORANT worker looked over at my parents walkers and said "do those fold?"... not hello or how many or welcome. My sister said yes then this employee said as she motioned with her head "you guys can sit on that side, way in the back at the last table". As we were walking, because I don't frequent this place, I asked my sister if this was a seat yourself kinda place? From the front of the restaurant I hear that women's voice say "well you guys have walkers so..." and I cut her off there and said walkers should have nothing to do with it nor was I talking to you". How dare she? She was clearly treating us differently, discriminating against the elderly and handicapped. I literally watched her seat every other person that came in, grabbed menus and walked them to their tables. I was very upset to be a part of this! I asked our waitress if I could speak with a Manager. The Manager came out and I explained the situation and that my parents federally protected rights were violated. The Manager, who mentioned she's been there for 30 years, said she would "remind" the employee to be nicer. What? She was nice but timid and I truly doubt that employee will get what she deserves, which is an unemployment booklet. This was a disgrace, to my father who fought for HER rights as well as my mom who is a retired nurse who may have took care of her or her family over the last 50 years! We didn't even get offered a complimentary glass of water! I did email also asking for a response. I'm not done with this situation and depending on how they handle it, I will decide how we will handle it to feel as though justice was served. I wanted to just leave but my family decided they wanted to stay. They can look at their cameras, that is the first time I have EVER gone out to eat and took my entire order home in a box. That's a well earned single star. The ambience was great. Not loud at all at about 2pm on a Friday. The warm rolls and cinnamon butter were excellent. Even though it looked like only two employees were on duty the service was very good. The problem, depriving Texas Corral of the other four stars, was their food. My Smothered Steak sandwich and Steak Fries for example. The meat was a healthy half inch thick I'd guess. Good for a sandwich (that is not a Philly cheese steak). But the flavor. Oh, that flavor that stayed with me, unfortunately for the rest of the day. It wasn't pleasant. Not horrible, it was edible with effort. Just a flavor I hope I never experience again. It stayed with me long enough as the steak itself had several of those stringy white line things that you can't chew or bite apart. You know, the ones you finally have to pull out of your mouth with your fingers. The Steak Fries carried the meat flavor over to them. They were eaten, very unenthusiastically. The other diners Chicken Sandwich was, unfortunately for her and my credit card, not edible. The tween couldn't eat his Waffle Fries. I have to say that tonight was the best choice for dining out. The place was not packed as it usually is. We were seated quickly and our waitress was awesome. The food was tasty as always and the speed of service was much better from my last visit. Domestic beers today were $1- Awesome . I had a Sirloin steak with Louisiana shrimp and veggies. I skipped on the potato. The steak was cooked to perfection just the way I like it. The salad was just as good. Their bread is to die for! It is so hot and soft, served with cinnamon butter--Yum! I have to be honest and say that the bread and this special butter is what keeps me coming back. Trust when I say, you're going to love it just as much. Lol Every table is already set with peanuts for your hungry little taste buds. Feel free to place the shells inside the empty bucket or toss them on the floor. Your choice. I was greeted when I came into the door and the waitress was very attentive. I had country fried chicken with white gravy and it was crisp and juicy. Great food, painfully slow service. At least a dozen birthdays were celebrated here on a Friday night between 8 and 10pm; every booth and table was filled with hungry families. Our waitress wasn't very good, and despite apologizing for the long delay still didn't do much to appease us. The kitchen was moving at a snail's pace, and by the time we paid the check and left, we had been there a grand total of 2 hours. Two freaking hours! I'm fairly certain the cooks had to chase down the cows locally, kill them, and prepare them for us. What else explains the foodless 50-minute wait the three of us had to endure? The old man and I are big fans of the peanut-shell-on-the-ground steakhouses, and we found our cuts of beef to be delicious. I got mine with a sweet potato and loaded chili, both very good. The blooming onion appetizer was great, and those Texas-sized 36oz draft beers definitely hit the spot. AWESOME warm bread, too--with cinnamon butter! Easy place to go for lunch. The staff is very friendly! I really enjoy most everything I have had. One thing to note, if you want croutons on your dinner salad you have to ask for them. For my meal I went with a 12oz New York Strip, which was reasonably priced however the steak itself wasn't cooked as requested and was fairly tough, it had a decent taste however. The meal itself was served with some delicious rolls and mouthwatering butter, I think I fell in love with their cinnamon butter as it was absolute perfection. I think I ate 4 rolls just myself, lol. Texas Corral??? I'm a Texan and I believe old Texans would have made them change their name to avoid embarrassment. This is nothing more than a franchise idea copied from Texas Roadhouse, Logans or any other peant shell on the floor restaurants. I have to say that the food was real and it tasted good, but it was very plain. My steak was grey and did not have the rich and brown color of a properly seared preparation. If I remember correctly from another visit, their chicken fried steak is real and not a processed meat patty so common today. The waiter and host staff were friendly amd welcoming which made the experience better. They even made sure I had a large "to go" cup for the road which was nice! Still, just not overly impressed and will likely not visit often. read more

I have eaten at various TC's and this one stands out more than others. The service was great, and the food was amazing! When I'm not traveling I typically forego eating out and grill my own steaks. I have been told that I am a very good cook, however I may have met my match... I ordered the bone in ribeye and a vegetable kabob, and Mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac n Cheese. The steak was very juicy and cooked just a touch above med rare as requested. This steak was amazing, the only gristle was a very small piece on the outer fat surrounding the steak. The grilled vegetable kabobs were firm and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were as expected warm and delectable and, of course, smothered in gravy. There was also plenty of hot buns and cinnamon butter to get started. I chose to pair this great assortment of food with a very large mason jar full of water with almost an entire lemon. Thank you Feleciia for a wonderful overall experience, and thank you management for hiring really great staff. Well done on so many levels. when we arrived i asked our waitress lily who said her real name is iliana. what the drink specials were. she said draft beer and $3 texas size drinks!! to gain clarity i asked her if she meant draft beer and she clearly stated. no....any drink as long as its tx size. so we each ordered a tx size daiquiri.....all was fine until i noticed we'd been chargered $20 for our drinks($10each). lily apologized and said she'd go correct our bill to reflect $6 instead of $20 because the charge was incorrect.... when lily came back she was visibly shaken and said her manager "megan pilatos" had sworn at her and refused to correct the charge even though lily explained to her that it was her fault. she told ud wrong. i asked lily to speak to her manager. well megan the manager came over and said she heard megan say on video it was draft beer only... i told megan that megan was lying and if she did let me see the video. megan then said she would not adjust our bill and if we didn't pay the $20 instead of $6 she was going to call the police and tell them" we were going to leave without paying " which was another lie.....we never refused to.pay our bill....we refused to pay $20 for two cocktails that our waitress had admittef telling us should have been $6.....megan then told us that she was making lily our waitress pay the $20 because it was lilys screw up!!! megan took our original check $51 and split it into two checks and was making ly our waitress pay $20 and i paid the $30 i told megan that was extremely ridiculous and unfair to lily...megan then said lily had to pay besides she(megan) was sick of people like us(m african americans)coming to her restaurant and trying to get something for free!!!! because even though we were told the drinks were $3 we should have k own better!!!!!! i am still shaking im so upset from her horrible horrible disrespectful not to mention embarrassing treatment of us!!! read more

What a disappointment. First we sat down to a dirty table and asked if it could be cleaned. We sat there for about 8-10 minutes with no service. I wanted to leave but the birthday girls wanted to stay. I finally got up to find a server and as I was walking to the hostess she said "have a nice night" to which I replied "I would but we haven't had any service yet". When a waitress finally did show up at the table, she gave us the rag to wipe the table. She gave no apology for the tardiness in service, and made some excuse about someone else not cleaning the table correctly. We were celebrating a birthday for 2 of our daughters and asked if they did anything special for birthdays. While most places offer a free desert and sing a fun song, Texas Corral can sell you a piece of cake for $4.99 and then sing to you. We opted out of that. When the food finally came it was delivered by a young man with a cigarette in his ear! Really!? Some items were missing that were delivered shortly after. The food itself was sub par. The waitress came to ask if we needed anything else, and let us know she was going to take a bathroom break. TMI. That was a first at a restaurant. When the bill arrived we saw that we were charged an extra $.99 for loaded mashed potatoes added on to the kids meal. She ordered mashed potatoes as her side option but somehow that became loaded mashed potatoes with no mention of an up-charge. It's the principle of it, not the charge, which they did reverse. I should have followed my gut and left when we hand the chance. Luckily we will never have that problem again since we won't be back. Ever! read more

Good overall experience there. Couple hicups here and there and haven't experienced order issues however I've seen a lot of orders messed up there. Mostly steaks being overcooked or undercooked. I personally haven't experienced this yet. The steak I ordered was good along with the burgers and steak sandwich. Prices aren't that bad compared to some other places. Go during non peak times or you'll be waiting for a table. Food was always on fairly fast for the most part. Atmosphere is good and I like how it looks in there.
