O my goodness. I just got back from dinner and (after I rolled in my house) sat down to relax and finish enjoying what a wonderful experience that was. Everything has pretty much been said about this place but it's great! I found the meat to be seasoned just perfectly. The lamb is so tender, the best I've ever eaten. They have the best drinks too! We had the Brazilian cocktail in Passion Fruit and Mango. O MY GOODNESS! It was great. The Brazilian soda is also very tasty. You also have to sign up for their email list on their website. They send out great discounts and special offers. This is a great place to go on a date or take the family. Kids 6 and under eat free too! To give you an idea of prices, dinner for 3 with drinks and desert was $150. But OOOO so worth it! read more

SERVICE/AMBIENCE This place provides excellent service with attentive servers, managers checking in on your dining experience (ie checks to make sure the temp of the soup is just right), replenishing your water, and changing out your plates and/or silverware as needed. They check in frequently but not excessively like classic in laws. Red painted brick walls (smart move on their part as red makes you hungrier; I see this as their way of looking out for their patrons ensuring we get plenty bang for the buck), tall ceilings, open space. FOOD Cold salad bar- over 50 items! This is already a 5 star restaurant as it is, but if they had fruit at their salad bar, it'd bump them up to a 6. They have a variety of beef, lamb, chicken, and sausage meats that vary from top sirloin to Parmesan chicken wings. Pork was my least favorite. Garlic sirloin and top sirloin were a couple of my favorites! They bring out mashed potatoes, which are whipped just right, cheesy bread, fried plantains to "cleanse your palate" (I like this purpose..makes me feel like I'm being a responsible eater). DESSERT Bananas foster pie a la mode is AMAZING. I think eating pounds of savory meat makes you really appreciate the sweetness of this dessert. I love this place, I have been several times and had a great experience each time. However I had dinner there last night and I was incredibly displeased with the table the hostess directed us to. It was the least desirable table in the entire restaurant even though there were several other tables available. The table was next to the bathrooms, right near the buffet area and near the kitchen where the servers were coming in and out every few minutes. The hostess had to be aware that the table was the worst in the restaurant because no other party was sat there for the rest of the night even though there was a steady stream of people coming in. Our waiter seem slightly annoyed when we said we wanted a different table. After that the service was great and as always the food is good. Probably wont be back for awhile. read more

We have already established my love of red meat. So, do I have to say anything else? Yes, the meat churrascaria style is absolutely de-liishhh. However, what I was most impressed by is its plentiful options at the salad bar. They had very unique items such as grilled mozzarella, all sorts of other cheeses, cold cut meats like prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, all kids of olives. The italian part of me was in heaven!! Then they had great leafy greens for salad (not just iceberg lettuce), big slices of tomatoes, and veggies. Then they had rice, beans, shrimp, and god knows what else! they had sooo many options! We went on a Sunday for Champagne brunch. Although we were unaware of the champagne part! We ordered some caipirinhas. I finally made my way to this place. Now I have been to similar restaurants with the same concept and about 10 bucks cheaper. Just isn't the same. TdB just has it all. The food was great. The salad bar with the 50 items may be the center piece, but variety of meats is the showcase. The house special called picanha was so flavorful and a perfect medium rare. I think they had 11 different meats. Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, pork and beef ribs, chicken wrapped in bacon, lamb chops and several more cuts of meats. I think I ate every meat they bought out. I topped it all off with their house desert-- papaya cream and a glass of Remy Martin VS. Overall, Texas de Brazil was a great experience. Their salad bar has main core salads like romaine, mix greens and other several others remain the same but there are some that changes (daily or weekly, not sure) like the baked salmon, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs, grilled veggies..... Meat selection for lunch is the same. I don't see anything different. For the buffet pricing goes, it's about $26/person for the salad bar & meat. Of course, everything is going up on prices so I guess same goes with Texas de Brazil. read more

First off. They were not terribly busy! It was easy to find a parking spot for our 6:30 reservation. I am rating on our most recent visit Friday 4/20/18. We were here in February for my birthday. We brought our youngest son for his 16th birthday. This visit was to celebrate my husbands birthday. The kitchen was a bit off. The meat was a little tough. I asked for their garlic steak, which is normally tender and flavorful but it was tough and tasted just like any other beef. It seemed like they ran back there & cooked some meat because it had been forgotten. The other thing that was off, the wait staff & meat servers were hovering, a lot! They would refill my drink (with my bottle of soda sitting right there) if I took a drink. On the visit for my birthday we had a coupon for $20 off. The waiter explained that some drinks and desserts come with our meal. This waiter took the time to explain that we either get dessert OR the $20 off. In conclusion, our visit for our anniversary will be to a competitor! If I like them, they will be our new "celebration restaurant ". I love Texas de Brazil because of their marketing savvy, on top of their great value. These guys send me birthday coupons, anniversary, special promotions, 25% off cards, etc... They run it like they want me to go there. And I did. With that 25% off card, I bet I ate there once every 10 days for a while. You just can't beat all-you-can-eat steak for 15.00. This past Sunday was my first time here. The food was absolutely delicious. It seemed like every time a took a bite of something new, I had a " WOW this is good" expression on my face. With so many choices of meats and different textures it is hard to pick a favorite. However i made it my goal and my duty to the Yelp review readers to find one. It took a few trips to the salad bar and an endless amount of trips from the meat cutters to make my decision. The two meats I could eat for the rest of my life and be satisfied, were the smoked salmon from the salad bar and the Parmesan Pork. The chicken was also flavorful, but I wouldn't waste the space on it next time. The steaks and ribs were also very savory and tender. The only issue we had was with the hostess. I will give her the benefit and say that it must have been her first week. However, I have never met anyone that worked at a restaurant that knew as little as she did about her restaurant. read more

Ate here last night for a birthday celebration and I pleasantly surprised. This was my first time at Texas de Brazil (been to Fogo amd Boi na Braza numerous times) and i really enjoyed my experience. Salad bar was top notch with a variety of cheeses, cured meats, and toppings that could be meals themselves. Selection at the salad bar was plentiful and added bonuses like the lobster bisque, potatoes, and platano definitely helped round out the experience. The meats themselves were excellent but i really enjoyed the picanha, beef sirloin, and bacon wrapped filet mignon the most. Service was impeccable and timely. My only qualm is that the restaurant is very crowded. Tables are not spaced properly which could cause accidents with so many restaurant staff on the floor. Other than that, my wife and I had an excellent experience and I will be returning! My review is 4.5 stars. read more

Love this restaurant! This location is better than uptown one. We dine in every a few months as we love their food. The meats and buffet are well cooked, and service is always great. The only reason that I'm rating this two stars is because our server was awesome. My husband and I visited the establishment for lunch and the food was just average today though I'm usually highly satisfied with it. Once the servers began bringing their selections of meat, I noticed a SPIDER crawling on my plate with my food. Our server noticed and promptly took the plate away and brought me a new plate and silverware. The manager came shortly later and apologized and said that those types of things were unpredictable (ummm not having a spider crawling on top of your plate is pretty predictable...that's a minimum expectation when dining out), and said she "could" give me a 15% discount which also was interesting. At any rate, I'm just glad we were there for lunch and not dinner when the lighting is dim or I otherwise may not have seen it as easily. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I used to eat here for lunch pretty often but now I've stopped coming here for lunch not because the food or service was lacking but only because there is another brazilian place closer to my office. But I still do come here for dinner every so often only because of the lobster bisque they have only during dinner. No other brazililan place has it and it is worth the drive. Update: 5/24/2012 I had lunch here with a group of coworkers recently and the food was way over salted and they were a few carvers short that day so that we found ourselves waiting for long periods with empty plates while searching for a carver near us. Great Brazilian Steakhouse experience. Took my wife here for our anniversary and could not have been more happy with the experience. The table side meat service had excellent variety and the servers did a great job. The soups, salads and sides were excellent both in variety and taste. Was not disappointed by the quality of the meal for the price that we paid. Came here on a date and had a lovely time. Grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting for our table and then was seated quickly. The non-meat offerings weren't a whole lot but I've been to Brazilian steakhouses so my opinion is if you're not looking for meat why go? I haven't been there for lunch or a weekday so I can't say for quality then. But the quality was great when we went. The food was delicious. I ate so much meat I practically waddled out. Everything was tender and flavorful. And when the card was flipped they were quick to bring the meat! Due to it's atmosphere it's not a jeans and shirt place. People dressed like that stuck out like sore thumbs. The music is classy, ambience is classy, so attire should be classy too. :) Like most Brazilian steakhouses it's not cheap but you get what you pay for.
