I've been to this location a few times. Since it was a weekend day, we were able the join the waitlist while headed over. If you have never done this, it is a must! It is very helpful and I'm happy they provide this. Each time we come it has been great. The service has been spectacular and the food is on point each time we go. The last time we went we had a waitress who came by frequently and checked on us - ensuring our drinks were never empty. The kitchen was a little slow (probably because of the amount of people dining as they are not normally slow) so our waitress apologized and provided extra rolls and butter as well as peanuts if we wanted any. Absolutely the worst experience we've had at this restaurant. First, we were seated at a tiny table, 3 of our party were 6'4" or taller, when asked to move to a larger table it seemed an inconvenience? Second, dirty silverware & a dirty table which we wiped down ourselves. Third, the salads were not the typical size, ridiculously small & the Caesar was 1/4 of the bowl. Fourth, my wife's order came out incorrectly & cold. Fifth, they remade my wife's entree which took almost 30 additional minutes. The entire experience was unacceptable & no attempt to offer anything but an apology was completely disgraceful. Safe to say we are done with Texas Roadhouse, regardless of how many times the staff told us " the rolls are the best part". Maybe they should rebrand the location to Texas Roll House? We love Texas Roadhouse where I'm from.... We having been coming to this location for 5 years now and it has yet to get any better. The server provided bare min customer service. She did not ask why we were there or try to make conversation - my teenager wanted to go for his birthday. We all received our food and had it for about 15 minutes before she came back to the table which is when we had to ask for our toddler's food. We had to send one of the steaks back due to it being over cooked - they fixed it. My steak was more medium rare than medium but I just kept it. The fish tasted very gamey. Texas roadhouse is a chain, but that is ok. I have eaten at them in a few locations in AZ and CA and they are consistent. Good food, good service. This one is conveniently located off the 10 freeway and has a large parking lot in a strip mall. I had lunch there last week and ordered a BBQ burger and it was tasty and delicious. Just what I expected. Nicely cooked, great flavor and the fries were warm and crispy. I also got to try a salad, I don't remember which one but I think it had avocado and it was very large, very easy to share. I was with someone for their birthday and made the mistake of saying yes that we were celebrating a birthday. They bring over a little rocking horse saddle for the person to sit in and they yell at the top of their lungs about the birthday before they sing. Quite embarrassing. The lady who was yelling was the loudest person I have ever heard, she definitely does not need a megaphone ever for anything. I'm not taking a bite. Do you want something else. No. Because I've sat and watched my husband eat his meal for 25 minutes and he's almost done. It'll be another 20 minutes before I get my meal. Just so you know she says. That's the rarest we cook prime rib. Well done? I know that's not true. I get prime rib there every time I go. And I get it the same way. No offer to take anything off the bill by the manager. So she leaves. Then the server comes by and apologizes and takes responsibility for putting the order in wrong in the first place. And I explain about the prime rib I finally had gotten. The server then asks my husband if he wants another beer. Yes he says. I tell the server sarcastically no I don't want another drink. Then he starts making excuses. So we asked, are you taking something off the bill for the mistake. Let me see what I can do. We waited and the ribeye they had brought me was taken off the bill. I've never had a bad experience at Texas Roadhouse. And with them not being busy at the time we went I was surprised they messed up on my order twice. When using the bill paying device at the table, I was disappointed in not seeing an itemized list of our order. My wife asked for water and got iced tea, which she hadn't ordered but we got charged for (discovered after I received an itemized bill via email). We also were charged over $8 for a tip - there was no selection for a tip on the device so I left a $9 cash tip. Turns out our service pocketed over $17 for a tip. Honestly, it was the most fun night out that I've had since the Pandemic lifted. Restaurants have been hit and miss since the pandemic has lifted, but mostly miss. Going back out again has been filled with disappointment. We had recently gone to a big chain restaurant next door. It was such a huge disappointment, that on our way out we saw Roadhouse and said "next time we're goin' there!" So, our next trip out was to roadhouse. Since there are long waits, go early! We also checked in early. Upon arrival, we noticed a lot of people waiting in their cars. The temp was pushing 110 degrees! We walked inside and asked if we could have a drink at the bar while we waited. We were told that it was no problem. Yes!!! A nice cold beer in an air conditioned restaurant. We did notice that the very young bartender didn't know much about the beer that was offered. The beer was good wait was only about 40 minutes. When we were seated, I noticed that almost all of the servers were very young. I am guessing late teens to mid 20's. Wow, I hand never seen so many! Once again, a product of difficulty in finding help post Covid. Still, even though a could perceive the nervousness, they were attentive and did a good job. The food was really good, but wish they offered better pairings. For their surf and turf, they offer steak and shrimp. I with they would also offer a lobster tail or crab legs. While we cruised the menu, the sever brought out just out of the oven dinner rolls. They were soooo good! I ordered the prime rib, and my wife had shrimp, rice and a loaded baked potato. Me, my husband and our 4 kids went here for my birthday. I am pregnant with our last baby. My husband and I both ordered ribeyes, kids meals were 3 Mac n cheese and mini burger. The steaks came out literally raw and cold. My kids wouldn't eat their Mac n cheese because it was super cold. I tore my kids burger in half and offered him half without looking at it, my husband snatched it-the kids burger was 90% raw. I told them don't worry about remaking any of the kids meals. I had also lost my appetite. Steaks come back out, I had 4 bites and just couldn't. It was so bad. Hands down one of the worst steaks. My husband ate a little less than half. Manager comped the meal. Besides my birthday dinner being ruined, my husband and I both got food poisoning. My husband was sick all day Monday, couldn't stay out of the bathroom. And being pregnant, it hit me extra hard. Texas Roadhouse is a great place for friends and family to gather. Loud and fun. The food is good. Never had a bad steak here. The wait was an hour. We received a text message when they were ready for us. In the mean time we did some shopping in the area. Food took just under 30 minutes. Something to think about if you're looking for instant hunger gratification or have impatient little ones. Our girls were getting a bit antsy but it wasn't too bad. They give you buttery rolls that can help pass time if you canneat them. Service was friendly from checking in to our kind waitress. She didn't know much about their gluten friendly menu. I asked if we could get the kid's steak bites with just salt and pepper as their gf menu states you can order steak as such. She said sure. They were marinated. Not salt and pepper so we we had to run across the street to Walgreens for some Benedryl for one of our tots. Other than that our food good. We really didn't care for their over $13 Legendary Margarita with the cute pink salt, but $1 of thr cost went for a good cause. My husband did enjoy his Southern Whiskey L.I.T. Menus are kept at the table unless your looking for a specialty menu. Therefore they are only as clean as all the other people that touched them.
