Went in for dinner on Saturday and was seated the moment we walked in as I put us on the waitlist on our drive there. The service was good and our waitress checked on us quite a few times. The food was good and fresh, the only thing we didn't like was the chili, it didn't taste very good. We also were given the wrong dinner entree and had to wait like 15 mins to have the item we ordered come out as we were told many people were waiting for the same item. We decided to give this place a 2nd chance because when we came to this location the first time, it was bad! Our waitress never checked on us, they also were out of ice and didn't tell us until we sat down. That was a huge bummer because it's so hot outside and when you don't have a cold drink, it's not fun lol. This go round was good and did make up for it. Horrible experience with Manager Noah and steaks were cooked wrong twice. After paying our balance we were rushed to leave by the bus boy while we were packaging our food. No manager was checking quality and Manager Noah yelled at my family and was extremely unprofessional to customers and his own waitress. Avoid this restaurant until Manager Noah is replaced! We are celebrating a birthday and it was a just 3 of us to which my parents drove in from out of town who put themselves on a waiting list to be seated but we're told they need to wait since one more of the part was missing . I called and "Leilani" the Manager on site told me even after explained the current situation that they could not be seated, I came and asked to have them remove the reservation. they continued to say why they initially be seated because if I had more of a party coming in it would be an issue. Before we jump to what if situations , your position as a manager is to mediate and make the best decision. Fred the current general manger if you're reading this I hope your Team does a better job. When the server finally took are drink order and appetizers git there before are fountain drinks also when the food came out they forgot are sides and we git charged for cheese fries and got regular fries also did not get are bread right away waiting 20 minutes just for bread then another 10 for drinks appetizers order drink refills took 20 minutes to get we have had better service safe to say not coming back for a long time read more

Very disappointed with the ambiance that Texas Roadhouse has happening at their restaurant. Especially in Goodyear AZ where the temp is 115 degrees. This is why we go to a restaurant, to be comfortable and out of the heat! We were seated on the west side of the restaurant where they only have 1 fan going. There is 8 families seated here so more bodies =more heat. It's 82 degrees on the ac temp. No ice, flat drinks, flat beer. I spoke to the manager Haley and all she could do is apologize, but say they still needed to seat people. But they're seating them where it's Fkn hot. However as you go more center and East of the restaurant, it's 15 degrees cooler! Very disappointed in this Roadhouse. Very busy so thought it would be good. The place was dirty and hot. The food was cold. The mushrooms were cold on the steak. The waitress was very nice and even though we had to split up our party because it was busy she tried to help. The bar person was extremely nice, manager has a terrible attitude. She talked to us like we were children. All we asked is if they could move one party closer. If she could great, if not no worries but she came over with a horrible attitude and scolded us for asking! Its busy , totally understand but as the leader she needs to be as kind as her workers or if this position is too much for her move on. We would try it again but because of the food and cleanliness probably will try another one. I'll start this by saying Texas Roadhouse is my favorite restaurant ever. I'm sad too right if you want food from this one don't order online for takeout. It's significantly better if you dine in. When I got my food for my Togo order it was completely cold. When I ordered it said the food would be ready at 7. I arrived and sent the text saying I arrived at 6:50. I immediately received a text back saying the food was not ready and they would text me when I need to come up to the window. I waiting until 7:10 and no text. So I went up to the window and when I talked to the hostess my food had been ready. When I got home everything was cold. Then 2 hours later I got a text saying my food was ready. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was good. The only issues were 1) The filet was rare instead of medium rare. 2) my smothered chicken was missing the gravy. 3) The girl who seated us seemed irritated that I asked her to grab extra butter before we sat down to save a trip. The chili was really good as was the iced tea. The steak had really good flavor even though the cook needs to work on his temperatures. Knowing today was Easter Sunday, I called Friday afternoon to make a reservation. But, they don't take reservations. :-o And, I was told to call back 1 hour before my planned time to be there. Well, the voice recording nearly drove me up the wall, her voice was that bad. And, in talking to the guy, I could hardly hear him over the background noise. At 3:00 today, I used their relevantmobile app to get my name on the list. But, it told me a 5 to 15 minute wait. So, I decided I'd hold off until later. At around 3:25 I checked again, and the app told me 10-20 minutes. Figuring that would be close enough, I finished the check in process. Well, all I have to say is I'm glad that I was enroute to the restaurant, as the app told me I needed to be there by 3:34! :-o Being Easter, I went early to avoid the dinner crowd. But, damn! They were crowded. When I walked in, there was a group of 8 ahead of me. I got up to the desk, and the host apologized. But, I said, no worries. And, I gave him my confirmation number. The hostess grabbed a basket of rolls, and asked for me to follow her; I was seated within 1 minute of walking in. 8-) After being seated at a freshly cleaned table (no plates or silverware), the hostess asked me if I had been there before. And, since it was my first time, she seemed genuinely pleased that I came in, and told me that they have a lot of good stuff. A few minutes later, my server, Martin, came up And asked if I'd like a cocktail. I ordered a Texas Peach Fuzz. As he was about to walk off to place my drink order, I asked if I could have a plate, and silverware. I think he was slightly embarrassed for not realizing that the table was bare. They didn't bring me any peanuts. But, I didn't ask for any either, and have no clue as if they are extra, included. A few minutes later, Martin came back. He apologized that the bar was backed up, and it would be a few more minutes for my drink. No problem. Since it has been years, I ordered a 10 oz Prime Rib, Medium Rare (the only way to have it)b Loaded Baked Potato and Fresh Vegetables (Broccoli Crowns and Baby Carrots). The rolls were piping hot. I almost dropped the first one because of that. Now, I'm not sure what flavor the butter was, but it was good on the hot roll. My drink (a bit small, imo) arrived just a few minutes before my dinner. The TPF was delicious. When my dinner arrived, I was eager to dig in. But, I was surprised to see so much marbling (read fat, which helps the flavor) still showing in it (some yes; but about 2 oz? seems high from what I remember). And, you can see it clearly in my photo. I took the first bite, and almost choked on the amount of salt used. Luckily, the Au jus removed most of it. And, I did have a small cup of Creamy Horseradish sauce too. Had the prime rib not been so salty, it would have been perfect, despite the seemingly excessive fat. The Loaded Baked Potato was really good. Though, it could have used more sour cream. The veggies were good, despite not being evenly cooked. One broccoli crown was limp, and soft. One was a bit firmer. And, one was firm, but not crunchy, as were the baby carrots. For dessert, I ordered the Big Brownie, with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. It arrived almost hot. Not only was the melting of the ice cream noticeable, after the first bite, you could see the steam rising from it. It was very good. But, unless my taste buds have changed, I think the other guy's Chocolate Lava Cake (I think that's the name; I call it Death by Chocolate) is superior. During my slightly over 1 hour stay, the service was phenomenal. Between the host, hostess, Martin (brought me the plate and silverware, took my drink order, stopped to tell me of the delay and took my order, delivered my drink, my meal, stopped by 3-4 times to ask how things were, or if I needed anything, check and payment) and another server who stopped by once to see if I needed anything, wow, Wow, WOW! I've been in some 5 Star restaurants where service wasn't near that level. So, while my meal gets a 3.25 rating, service gets 5+. I will probably go back again. But, for sure to be certain that they use less salt. read more

Our server was amazing! This place has the friendliest people and I cannot wait to go back. I had earned points at work and cashed in for a 200.00 gift card for Texas Roadhouse. I extended to treat family to a dinner out. I am pleased to say we tried but couldn't spend it all. Our group was 7 people. 3 Adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers. No appetizers but did get a couple of very unique and delicious cocktails. We all had amazing dinners. We even treated ourselves to dessert. Toddlers had a scoop of vanilla ice cream each and the rest of us shared one apple pie à la mode and one chocolate brownie topped with ice cream dessert. We like to order dinners for pickup and bring them home when we have too much going on to actually cook. The meals are just as perfectly prepared as when we go in and eat there. We love the ambiance inside the restaurant, so that is always our preferred way to enjoy Texas Roadhouse, but would highly recommend either option. Also, we noticed they haven't raised their prices like everywhere else did, we can still get a great meal for a decent price & still tip well. My husband and I were running errands all afternoon after a birthday party and decided we needed to have a late dinner and wanted steak, what better place than Texas Roadhouse. They are basically one of the best steak houses in the Goodyear area. This is probably our go to Restaurant for steak we are constantly having dinner here if not will usually take to go orders and bring it home and it's exactly the same they always make sure they pack the fresh rolls the fresh butter the salads are delicious the extra sides the onions and the mushrooms everything is always exactly the same as if you were having it at the restaurant. The drinks were a lot better today for some reason. Maybe because we sat at the bar while waiting for our table and the bartender had no idea how to make specialty drinks so when he asked us what we wanted, we were able to be specific and he didn't water anything down. They were very friendly, both the bar and server. We knew the server from Buckeye, almost 8 years ago. Super nice. read more

Disappointed Today we decided to get a few dinners to take home from Texas Roadhouse and I have to be honest this visit was very disappointing. I understand the challenges restraunts are facing but the service on this visit was poor. We were told to pick up our order at 4:30 however we didn't receive our order until 5:05. After, we looked at our entrée's we noticed that we did not receive our cheese fries. Waited 10 more minutes and were given cheesev fries that looked horrible and over cooked. At that point the manager came over, apologized, and gave me (2) $10.00 coupons (waited 5 more minutes). I appreciate the coupons however now all my entrée's were cold, butter and sour cream for potatoes melted, and the meals not very good. Felt as if I wasted $60.00. Poor customer service and not going back! The hostess, whose voice was house so I'm assuming this is her regular behavior, shouted at me and my family to leave the lobby. Mind you it's well over 100° and they have no shade nor water. When I expressed that her request was unreasonable, she said "What's your name? I'm taking you off the list!" Talk about a power trip! I asked to speak to the manager and he backed her up. I told them that I had children and elderly family members in my party and asking them to stand in the heat was unreasonable, they simply said too bad. Since the Roadhouse opened in Surprise it has been a favorite of my family and a location fpr special meals (Actually dream up speciasl occasions to go). The Bone In Ribeye is the best steak for the money anywhere. I have paid 3X what Roadhouse charges for a smaller less flavorful steak. The steak with a salad is my ideal meal. The servers all seem to enjoy their jobs and enjoy participating in the song/dance routines. The bartender, though usually swamped, always finds time to make sure drink is to my liking and in good spirits The atmosphire is typical western perceived and tasteful. It can be loud be they are very accommodating in findinf quiet corners if you ask.. Its easy to tell the area agrees. The Roadhouse will have a full lot while the Outback next door is less than half full. Thanks for coming into the neighborhood!! read more

Came in yesterday for a early dinner. Wasn't too busy but a 15 minute wait. My daughter and I were sat within 15 minutes. started off good with drinks and appetizers being delivered, and then it just went downhill from there. We were there about an hour I only received one refill, and that was because my daughter got up and actually went and found the waitress to get our refills. another server dropped off our food for a $24 combo I expected a little bit better quality steak half the steak was chewy and rubbery, baked potato I had to cut with a knife because the outside skin was so hard and we end up just taking boxes and leaving. This was my daughter and I's go to spot two times a month to eat. I don't know if we'll be back to this one. read more

It was a rough visit. The waitress was generally nice, but I ordered a 16 oz Ribeye. It came out and I immediately told the waitress that it was a sirloin and not a ribeye. She "guaranteed" me that it was a Ribeye. I pondered for a bit, checked the menu, noticed that they called it a Ft Worth ribeye, looked that up to see if that was something different, it wasn't. I tried to speak to her again, and it was also wildly overcooked also and she stood fast on her guarantee. This was going nowhere and the meat was horrible so I asked for the manager. The manager came over I started my story and she immediately said "that's not a ribeye!". They offered to make a new one, but I was so irritated by that point that I just said no, and they took the steak off the bill. I also had asked what the drink prices were of margaritas and she said 8.95, so I ordered one for me, one for the wife. They weren't 8.95, they are 13.00! I wouldn't have ordered it. PUT DRINK PRICES ON YOUR MENUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She also charged us for things without telling us there were up charges. While it wasn't a lot of money, it is a huge pet peeve, don't charge me for something if you don't tell me before. read more

Recently checked out new location at Westgate and had horrible experience. So was still craving a good steak! Went back "home" to my favorite location on Estrella and, AS USUAL, at the bartop, got my usual FANTASTIC Service!! I feel so welcome here and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, all the bartenders! My steak was So PERFECTLY cooked. I FINALLY got my steak fix! This is the best location. Apparently I am not the only one that thinks so, as it is ALWAYS packed! The hosts need to be seriously retrained. They are absolutely rude! We arrived at 8:30 to have dinner with family that was flying in from out of town. They send a text that our table is ready, it's like 9:20 pm. Family is on their way from the airport like 10 mins away and she says very rudely we're going to have to wait until the rest of our party arrives to be sat. So I asked her how we're supposed to have enough time to order food and drinks and actually enjoy our food and she was like "well there's still over an hour. Come back to me when your whole party is here." So we go outside and wait. Go back up because now it's time to be sat and now we have to wait for a table to leave and be cleared so that we can be sat. It's like 9:45 at this point. The girl who sat us threw our bread on the table and slammed the crayons down on the table. The attitude of the hosts was absolutely outrageous. Hadn't been to a TR in years, was in the mood for a steak and between the airport and home, this was it. Next time I'll just go to the store and buy one. The place was just so dirty. Sure the table was wiped down before we sat, but the floor was not swept and we had to step over the trash from others. We should have left. But we didn't. Cool tip- if you ever want to realize how much of the food you're getting is potato- don't order one. The plate was so empty with just a steak and the side dish of veg. The only thing above room temp was the veg. Not even the plate was hot. Lesson learned. Won't be back. read more

My dad wanted to go here for his 81st birthday. I ordered beef tips medium. They came out undercooked and barely warm. The gravy was probably what made him warm because it was hot and so the mashed potatoes so I sent it back my dad and his wife were done with their meals and they don't eat fast. I still didn't get my meal and I was waiting for a to go order as well so I canceled the meal and had to wait for it to go order about another 20 minutes. my dad did get free ice cream and a picture sitting in the saddle so I guess he had a good time. Ordered food to go and my order was ready very quickly and is exactly how I ordered it! I walked up to the window and was able to hear the music playing from the restaurant but didn't have to yell to be heard at the to go window. I was greeted promptly and was treated with a smile and happy to serve attitude! The people in the to go window area also made great small talk while the gentleman found my order on the shelf. Then again a few questionable menu changes and recipe changes have made it more difficult to continue to come. We came for the first time in a few years and were treated by a half empty wait and 20 min wait. Hostess said due to employee meeting, which is fine, but then they sat everyone at one time and those that know restaurants know that sitting a full restuarant at onelce waves the kitchen hard. Well with no shocker to anyone the food took 45 minutes for a medium filet and some chicken fingers.
