We have eaten at the Texas Roadhouse many many times. It is a fun place with good music, lots of noise and lots of good food! We have never had a bad meal there. We were there tonight at the St. Rose location and Nicolette was our server. She did an excellent job as we were a party of 5. All the orders were correct and she was very present asking us if we were ok and refilling drinks without even asking. Most of the time, the service is great there. The other thing that is great is the fact that their prices are moderate. In this day and age of high prices, eating at the Roadhouse won't break the bank. Keep it up!! read more

Aside from the cockroaches in the men's bathroom which was totally thoroughly disgusting and makes me wonder what their kitchen looks like, it was so loud you could not talk, our first two drinks were wrong, and when they brought new drinks someone walked by with them so fast they almost threw them on the table and were gone. Goes to show that non-Texans opening a Texas themed restaurant can't pull it off as we natives can. Chicken Fried Steak, my absolute all time fave dish...the gravy was too smoky I couldn't eat my meal. It was overwhelming & I can't be around anyone who has CFS on their table. The mash was good. Mac & Cheese is Kraft, from the box...why? Makes no sense to offer this to anyone but little kids. Can't they create their own mac & cheesey goodness? There are too many tables creating a serious safety issue. People squeezing by each other in an effort to pass, maneuvering around seated guests so as not to disturb them. Should an emergency arise, folks are going to be injured trying to leave. Hopefully it's no longer like this but it was last year before hols. I've since returned for a BBQ burger and that was quite good. Texas roadhouse is a great option if you were looking for a casual night out. Not a super fancy place but great for a decent meal. The bread comes out, hot and fresh and is so good with butter. We had to get another order of the bread as it's so good. Also, the shrimp appetizer was very good as it came out, warm and not over cooked or undercooked. Was a very good dish to warm up our meal. The Steaks are decent for the price you are paying, but you can't compare it to a high-end steakhouse. But they cook the steaks to the temperature you ask. The service staff does get very busy here, but do their best to be as attentive as I can when they are running around. But they are always helpful to get you whatever you need as soon as they can get to it. They also do a good job of checking in and giving updates on for. Texas Roadhouse claims, on their website, that legendary means hand-cut steaks. I can tell you that my experience was anything but legendary. I ordered the Ft. Worth 12 oz. ribeye steak cooked medium rare. When the steak was served it looked like a wedge that I would use to split logs. It was 1-inch thick on one end and 1/4-inch thick on the other end. The steak was so rare on the thick side and so overcooked on the other end that it was tough as leather. I have cooked a lot of steaks in my time and I can tell that the best chef or grill master in the world could not properly prepare a steak cut like this. What has happened to quality assurance or quality control at Texas Roadhouse? The person responsible for carving steaks should never let this piece of meat out of the carving area. This steak should have been cut up into steak bites listed on the kids menu. Secondly, the person plating the steak should have caught this. Lastly, the waitress should have caught it as they depend on tips and they are the last line of defense to make for an enjoyable experience for their guests. Full disclosure, the waitress did get the steak replaced but it took forever. My wife and kids had finished their meals long before my steak came out. Do you know how uncomfortable it feels when you have young children that are done eating and ready to go? Very difficult to enjoy the meal that I was really looking forward to. I was told that a manager would come by our table. I never saw a manager and if I did, he or she failed to tell me they were a manager and they definitely didn't apologize for the terrible experience or ask if there was anything they could do to make up for the terrible mistake. Since their prices have increased so much, the quality has gone down and service is far less than what it used to be, I can honestly say that I will never visit another Texas Roadhouse. It is a shame what has happened to this business since the founder passed away. This used to be a place that my family and I could rely on to get a decent steak and sides for a good value. The steaks were always cut and cooked perfectly. The value just isn't there. We have a lot of choices for dining in Las Vegas. It's tough to see how a restaurant can survive in this town if they don't bring their "A" game every night. read more

I would give them zero star if I could, for the humiliation they gave me and my family that I have never experienced in my life ever, anywhere. We just had dinner today, 03.14.22. My husband went to Texas Roadhouse many times in different states before, but for me, my sister and my children, this was the first time. Everything went well, we got there on time for our reservation. My daughter and my sister got their food so late after we told them several times. But that was fine, they apologized and gave us a good gesture. We were totally fine with that and food was great. We left with a carryout bag of our leftovers. We left the entrance door full and happy. But then as we walked to our car, one of the staff chased us and said that we took their silverware (that were wrapped in their black napkins). And she looked into our carryout bag. We asked, where? What was she talking about? As soon as she saw my daughter's black jacket in the bag, she just started to talk nonsense that it was a mistake and that she would give us silverware if we needed it. We were shocked and honestly I didn't understand what was going on. And all happened in public, in front of the guests that were waiting for their reservation outside. So I left my elder daughter in the car with my husband and got back in to seek for explanation. Look, you did it so unprofessionally. We did not deserve to be treated that way. None of your customers do. She just kept saying, "I understand (our frustration or anger?)". I understand. Yes, she understood, what about us? I don't understand at all! 1. We didn't steal. 2. You accused us in front of public and our young children. 3. You just accused us based on "the black jacket" in the carryout bag that you thought was your silverware wrapped in your black napkins. 4. She kept saying she understood and that if we needed silverware, we could ask and you would give us. Really? I tell you what, if we needed some silverware, we would buy, not ask. And we would have gone to HomeGoods, instead of to Texas Roadhouse. 5. Not everyone could be "bought" by given free food or free bills offers. Not us. This is so sad. Always wanted to try this place and was very dissatisfied with the service. DO NOT sit in the surrounding bar area. You will be neglected as the "order takers" take your order and not once check to see if everything was too our liking. If they came around to check on me, I would have advised that my burger was a little dry. To earn a TIP in this tough economy is by giving great service!!! We do not owe you a tip just because you think you deserve one. NO ONE owes you anything just because you are in a tipping establishment. After such a bombshell at the sunset location, we came here, and my gosh, what an amazing choice! This location is very busy, and yet there was no wait to be seated. Mike was our server, and he was amazing, sweet, very focused, and cared about taking care of our table. The food was very tender and flavored perfectly. I got my birthday appetizer and chose the blooming onion. That was the best I've ever had and even took some home for leftovers (it heats up just as good). For my meal, I went with my 6oz, baked loaded potato, and chili. Everything was delicious and fresh. This location may be a bit further from home, but honestly, it was such a wonderful environment. It's just as good as I remember back when I lived in the Bay Area!! And of course....as I remember, I ordered more than I needed to & ended up taking more than half of my meal home. LOL Texas Roadhouse is located in a busy plaza on St. Rose. Getting in is a bit of a hassle with the Costco, Costco gas, and other restaurants and businesses around in addition to the fact that this place is new! The parking lot was super packed when I got there around 4:30! Luckily, because they just opened at 4, we were able to be seated quickly, but the line formed QUICK behind us. Within the hour almost all tables were seated with people! Recommend coming early! Our server was awesome, along with the hostesses up front & the greeters who brought us to our table. We were checked on frequently & our food came out pretty fast! (We literally ordered our appetizer and it came in 3 minutes). Possibly because they just opened and we're churning things out quickly! The food: all of it is delicious & there's a good portion! There are some deals depending on the time/day you come, but we took full advantage of the menu. The fresh bread was always my fav part and my memory was still correct! Made fresh, fluffy, sweet inside with a salted outside, side of melt in your mouth apple or cinnamon "butter". We got: -fried onion appetizer: it was fried to perfection with a savory sauce! -half rack of ribs with a loaded potato & house salad (my favs). Ribs are sweet, fall off the bone! The house salad is actually one of my fav appetizers because it's loaded! And speaking of, the loaded potato was huge & hefty! -sirloin steak (smothered in mushrooms), chili & baked sweet potato. Cooked to perfection! Melt in your mouth! The chili was hearty and my fiancé greatly enjoyed the thickness and cheese topping. Texas Roadhouse? More like Texas Madhouse. I mean, this place gets packed real quick. I got a gift card to Texas Roadhouse for Christmas. I didn't even know that we had that brand the Vegas Valley. I looked into it and fount the one on St. Rose Pkwy. to be the closest to me (for now). My co-worker dined there recently and she was telling me how busy it was. Based on that, I figured I would come in right at opening (11:00 AM) and beat the crowds. It worked out for me but just barely. I walked up to the door at 10:55. I was greeted and ushered in where I waited a few minutes before being seated. There were already a few people in there. The servers/hostesses were lined up in preparation for the stampede that would follow me. I was only in there, from seated to gone, for about 30 minutes. In that short time this place filled in and more people were waiting up front. Craziness. For my lunch I ordered steak kabobs. They came on a bed of rice and one side. I ordered green beans for my side. While I waited for all of that I enjoyed 2 of the 4 complimentary dinner rolls. I saved the other 2 to take home. Let me tell you, that was a challenge. These were so doggone good. Fluffy and sweet. Buttery as all get out. I had heard good things but I was not prepared for how good they really are. Amazing. My meal came out fairly quickly. Two rows of tender charred beef with a row of veggies (onion, peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms). And a bed of rice. It was all very good and well seasoned. A bit on the salty side but not terribly so. I very much enjoyed it. I ate one row of the beef and all of the veggies. About half of the rice too. I decided to employ some self control and took the rest of the meat and rice home. I ate all of my green beans, though. Those were a bit soggy and swimming in water but they had good flavor. They seemed to have been cooked with garlic, onion and bacon. Nothing wrong with that. With my in-restaurant dining complete, it was time to check out. I asked for a to-go box and ordered strawberry cheesecake to go. I had done some quick math and realized my meal and drink was going to leave a bit left on the gift card. Dessert took care of that. Soon, I was on my way out. I felt like a salmon swimming upstream trying to get through the crowds at the front. Like I said, madhouse. Some final take aways; this place was HOT. And I mean tempurature. Their furnace was blazing this morning. It was almost uncomfortably hot in the first few minutes until I got my iced tea. It was also very loud. The music was blaring. I felt like I had to shout just to order. The lady in the booth behind me complained and asked them to turn the volume down a bit. I'm not sure if they actually did. I'm thinking not. I could feel the bass in my seat. Those issues aside, it was a mostly enjoyable experience. I received a good meal (really two meals with my leftovers) and good service. Lucky for me, I walked in early enough that it all worked out pretty quickly. I probably would not have waited in the crowds that came in after me. Today, that was not an issue. Finally, a Texas Roadhouse in Henderson! I've been waiting patiently for this to open... all because I've never been to a TR before and I've been dying to check it out. I was lucky enough to come here before it was open to the public and try some of their delicious (and it was) food. Although it was a limited menu, everything was great and there were absolutely no complaints about anything we tried. All the appetizers... BOMB! All three of us had steak and we were surprised that the steaks were actually cooked the way we ordered it, only because restaurants tend to err on the side of caution when cooking steaks. And of course, who doesn't like endless baskets of warm rolls delivered right to your table? I ate too many rolls and was unable to finish my sweet potato. I was able to get pictures of the drink menu and everything sounded so good on it. I didn't order anything though, just wasn't in the mood for drinks. Now if you've never been to a TR before, expect lots of country music, random line dancing by the staff. It's such a fun environment to be in and I can't wait to go back when it's open to the public. Arrived here with my hubby and two sons for dinner at 4P as soon as they opened. There was a line of about 20 people outside (Early bird special before 5:30 PM) and were all seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and the place quickly filled up being very popular for a Wednesday evening. The food was OK but I found my steak a little tough with gristle. My husband and son said the cup of chili was great and the rice overly seasoned. The assistant manager came by our table to greet us which was very nice. Our total bill for four people was $84 and we left a 15% tip. Overall nice local place to dine for family. read more

We've been here a few times and every visit has been a positive one. Granted this location does get pretty packed, the wait isn't too bad. I am extremely picky when it comes to ordering a steak at restaurants, but the ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Mashed potatoes, fire! And my favorite appetizer is the rattlesnake bites. This place is insanely busy and a ton of fun. The hot yeast rolls smell amazing and assault your senses straight away. The reservation system is very efficient and smooth. The fried onion appetizer is just a tad greasy but tasty. The steaks are what you would expect from a steakhouse in this market space. They were well cooked and reasonably sized. People, just join the waitlist on line, so that when you get there, you can just safely wait in your car for a text, notifying that they are ready for you to proceed. We did that and although we still waited in the car for 45 mins with antsy kiddos, it wasn't too bad. So now onto the food. My kiddos loved the kraft mac and cheese and chose fries for their side. Also came with a drink for the kid's meal. Hubby ordered the ribs and filet combo, which came with 2 sides, and I ordered the dallas filet (which supposed to be the melt in your mouth tender piece of meat), which also came with 2 sides. My hubby's filet tasted much more tender than my dallas filet. We liked the green beans as the side since it was quite tasty due to bits of bacon they were cooked in. I got the loaded baked potato while hubby got the sweet potato plain. The rolls with the honey butter was so good. I love bread, especially delicious, soft, warm rolls so I ate 2-3 rolls. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner served by Glenys this evening! We usually get the Parmesan pickles and I crave them every few days. I hope they make the Parmesan pickles a regular item because we were bummed to hear that they were a limited time offer. Glenys provided amazing service and was willing to skip right to the appetizer and main order which was perfect for us! As much as we enjoy taking our time, we don't have much of it so, being able to get in and out is always a huge factor when selecting a restaurant for date night. Very personable and awesome active listener! It was also a pleasure to see Tracy as we've not seen her in a while. Both hit it out of the park with their top notch customer service! Went with 3 of my kiddos. 1 got the burger sliders, they come on the rolls, and those are amazing little burgers. 1 Mac and Cheese it's Kraft but my kids love it and destroyed it. 1 Chicken tenders and Fries, also eaten quickly! The fries are big steak fries and my kids love them with ranch. I had an 8oz sirloin with baked potato and side salad. Their side salads are very good, pretty much fully loaded with egg, cheese, croutons, and choice of dressing. Thousand island is great choice in my opinion. Steak was medium-rare and an absolute 10!
