Ribeye steak with grilled onions, baked potato and green beans

My ribeye steak was a little tuff. The bake potatoe and green beans were great. The bread was excellent and so was my drink. No waiting and it wasn't too noisy. Service was excellent!

Placed an online order on Mother's Day, went to the window for pick up and they were slammed. The employee working the to go area still had a smile on her face, showed me every plate we ordered to ensure everything was in the bag. That was greatly appreciated! The food was delicious and my mom's Mother's Day was made! She loved it!

A firm 4 stars. Started with the Fabulous server Eder, taking the time to Thank us for coming in amidst horrible rainy weather. He stayed attentive & our food, drinks/cocktail came in a timely manner. Food was pretty good for the price as well. You should DEFLY stop by this location all was Great from the second we walked through the door!

    Grilled BBQ Chicken Family Pack

A friend told me about the Texas Roadhouse Family Pack, and wow! I'm impressed! Ordering through the app was super easy. I went with the chicken, corn, green beans, and Caesar salad. Total cost with tax and tip (no drinks or dessert) was just $47, insane value for the quality and quantity. The chicken was perfectly grilled and barbecued, full of flavor, and the portions were huge. The Caesar salad came in a huge container with plenty of dressing, and the sides were spot on. Plus, a dozen of their famous rolls with loads of honey butter? Absolute perfection. Huge, tasty, and convenient, Texas Roadhouse nails it. Family Pack is a must-try for a family on a budget!!

Texas Roadhouse is known for their ribs. I've eaten the ribs numerous times and have always enjoyed them. When you pick up your takeout order, the team member goes over each box before placing it in the bag. Unfortunately, I did not ask to open the box to look at the ribs. The takeout rib appetizer was unacceptable! One dried out piece of a rib cut from the slab and 3 other pieces of rib , the last piece was just a bone with no meat. I don't even know how the kitchen could serve this. They certainly wouldn't serve this to a dine in guest. I called and the manager issued a credit for a replacement. Be sure to check your take out box if you order ribs.

I had never been to a Texas Roadhouse until we moved here to SATX! Since moving here, my husband and I come here often when we feel like eating a hearty meal. My husband loves steak and I love ribs so we like to visit periodically. There are definitely better places for steak and ribs but quite honestly I come for true bread and Cesar salad they are my favorite as well as the pickles ! My husband ordered the bone in ribeye and I ordered the ribs as our main entrees. Service has been great every time we come here. It is always, always so busy and we still get seated within a reasonable amount of time. Definitely recommend! Ambiance is very busy and high noise level fyi.

    The rolls are so delicious.

It has been awhile since we went to this restaurant but I did remember that it is best to get on the wait list. However, I didn't think the wait list would have an almost 2 hour wait time or I would have gotten on it sooner. Once our time finally came up we were seated fairly quickly. As usual the bread (which this time arrived at the table with us) is the real attraction - at least for me. It is hard not to fill up on the bread! I got the pulled pork as I usually do and it was quite good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I tried the raspberry tea and found it to be very good. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which he said was good. The restaurant was quite noisy with celebrations going on, but we know to expect this and this is part of the fun. We got some tea to go and took home our bags of peanuts. If you're going to this restaurant be sure to get on the wait list early and don't forget to ask for your bags of peanuts!!

Had a great meal and a good time at this location compared to the rest. Manny was our server and he was perfection! Had a smile every time, anticipated needs, and was quick, not lingering at our table. He deserves the best in life and was worth the wait ( the wait was the only downfall). Had the ribeye and ribs. The sides were yummy and the steak was just as I ordered.

I decided to do a walk up and was greeted by a wonderful person named Cara. Her smile was welcoming and her suggestions were appreciated. I am waiting for my order in which she said it can be about 20 minutes. Okay received my order and made it home. I must say the fried steak was definitely different however it was delicious the broccoli and carrots were okay had to add a little seasoning however tender enough not soggy. I'm too full to finish the loaded sweet potato what I did taste is delicious I added pecans The jalapeño bite were different but tasty. And last but not least the rolls were amazing my guess is that's why I could not finish.

Too much BBQ sauce on just OK chicken...

Not a great start. We knew it would be busy tonight so we made a reservation online. We got here and checked in the way that we should and for our party at four we had to wait for 45 minutes. An hour later we checked, and they could not find our reservation. They did get us seated when they realized the issue and the food was good. The steak and veggies and salad were excellent. Chicken I ordered was kind of drenched in BBQ sauce.... Other than that and the wait it was good.

Def a packed Sat night. We did reservation through yelp I believe and it was about a 50 min wait which was fine since we had a couple of things to do. We had Peyton as a waiter and he was super nice and attentive. So I'm guessing everyday they have 3 drink specials, $5 margaritas (house tequila) long islands and for the beer Miller. Even though it was packed it didn't really take long for the food to come out which was fine even if we do since we weren't really in any hurry. Food was great drinks were great, really no complaints.

But at my age anytime you are over ground is the best occasion. I have heard it is real fancy. And it is. Do not come in Crocs and sweatpants. This is not that restaurant. It is that restaurant where you should make reservations. It is also a place that emphasizes presentation and service. We came right when it opened and we informed the hostess of our reservations. We were seated in the bar area. Once inside I was struck by its ambience. It is sleek, dark and dare say "sexy." Our server, who was extremely attentive came to our table and took our drink orders. My partner ordered an Old Fashioned and me, a Lagunitas IPA. Whilst waiting for our drinks I looked over the room. One thing I noticed was a barrier that separated the bar area and the dining room. The Social Hour is meant, to socialize. I saw couples leaning into each other. Another group were drinking martinis with a seafood tower, almost touching the ceiling. Conversations were had. Romantic glances were exchanged. It isn't a casual place like Bubba's 33 nor Texas Roadhouse. It feels like a place best suited for a date night or an anniversary. I'm wondering how the dining room area is? The Social Hour does offer some drink and small bites specials. We ordered the kabob with pineapple, brussel sprouts, and sliders. They were all pretty great. It reminded me of the same experience as in partaking in tapas. I would remiss if I didn't relay our service here, it was excellent. Our server, Holiday(I hope I spelled it right.) treated us like we were the only patrons there. I've gone to upscale restaurants where staff looks at you up and down. Or they try to size you up. This is not that place. Which was so refreshing. If this place went above and beyond my expectations why didn't I give it four stars? In my opinion I think that a place that creates an upscale experience needs to have a few beers on tap. Even places like Wing Daddy's or Chili's offers a few beers on tap. Secondly, the bar area seating feels a bit tight. I wonder when the dinner crowd arrives would you be in the lap, of someone else's conversation? I still highly recommend this place. The Social Hour area is perfect for a date or an anniversary. The service and food were both excellent. And I've never been to a place where you are given warm hand towels. It reminded me of that scene with Adam Sandler in "The Wedding Singer" minus Billy Idol.

I don't do well with the texture of the raw pink type in sushi rolls. The bartender recommended using the ginger soy they make and a vinaigrette on top and woooweeee....consider my socks blown off! You have the option to do rice or rice noodles in their soy sauce. I went noodles and I am addicted now. I will definitely come back for more of those as well as to try their Mongolian burger next time around. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. The cocktails were the best part of our experience. We planned to order a little of everything to try. We started with the Esquites Negros that feature huitlacoche, something I love but isn't on many menus. Their version was ok, but not great. It tasted like canned huitlacoche mixed with unseasoned frozen corn. After that we got the Pulpo Al Pastor. Octopus is another favorite that can be hard to find. Theirs was served on a warped wooden board that had already started to absorb the pineapple salsa smear. While the octopus was impressive to look at, it did not taste good. It seemed like it had not been prepped or tenderized properly. The bottom 1 inch of the tentacles was tender, but those usually are. Unfortunately higher up the meat was so rubbery that it was almost inedible. I ate a piece cut into tiny chunks with a tortilla and some onion to try to get through it. But I couldn't bring myself to eat more. After we had been sitting a while not touching it, a bartender asked how it was. We explained it was too chewy. He took it back to the kitchen. Another bartender informed us the manager took off 50% of the price of the dish because we had eaten part of it. No manager ever came out to speak to us about it. In fact, we didn't see anyone who looked like management at all during our experience- which is odd for a Friday night dinner service. At that point, we decided not to order more. We were talking about how empty the restaurant was while we were there, and now I can understand why. They have an interesting and intriguing menu, but what we ordered was poorly executed. While we might still go in for cocktails in the future, I don't think I would have dinner there or recommend them to others. Though my husband was dressed nice he was wearing a fashion baseball style cap and they asked him to please remove it as it is not allowed, I honestly love and appreciate that they adhere to a dress code! We were seated at a nice cozy, two seater table right by the bar and were instantly greeted by a young man that came to serve us water and let us know that our server would be out soon. Shortly after Celeste came and introduced herself and went over some of the more popular items on the menu with us. She was such an amazing server that anytime we go back, we are definitely going to ask to be in her section! Everything she recommended was an absolute must! We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef for a brief moment and swapped out one of our items for his recommendation, the pork belly. First, let's talk about the presentation. We ordered a lot of items off of the elite menu, which to be honest, far exceeds a happy hour menu. The selection of drinks, mocktails, and food items are some of the absolute best we have seen anywhere. Since we ordered a lot of items, they brought it out to us on a long flight board presented beautifully. But let me back up for a minute, before our food came out, Celeste brought us hot and fresh out of the oven potato rolls that were absolutely perfect. They had a slight sweetness with a savory butter and they just melt in your mouth, they are so soft! So for food items, we ordered the following: *Jumbo prawns - blackened two perfection, perfectly salted and chefs kiss with a squeeze of lemon, 10/10 *4 oz filet mignon - I don't even like filet mignon because I don't feel it is anything special but this one was seasoned to perfection and cut like butter 10/10 *Prime sliders - these were excellent, caramelized onion on a soft and gently toasted brioche bun, and they brought us ketchup and Dijon mustard 9/10 *Steak fries - we ordered these without the aïoli and they finished them off in the oven and dusted with Parmesan cheese, they were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and perfectly seasoned 10/10 *Spaghettini pasta - on the surface nothing about this looks or sounds special, but Celeste assured us that it was so we took our chances. It has got to be some of the best pasta I have ever eaten in my life. The texture and the flavors were amazing, whatever that sauce is, it is absolutely heaven sent! 10/10 *Pork belly - I really wanted to love this, but for me, I would have preferred that fat to be a bit more crispy. The flavor was delicious and the pork was super tender, I just prefer my animal fat to have more crunch. 8/10 *Chocolate cake - again, this came with high recommendation from Celeste, and I'm so glad we listened to her. This was such a light chocolate cake, and it was not too sweet. It had a whipped filling and a ganache topping. It was nostalgic, took me back to the 90s when I used to live off of Swiss rolls all summer. 10/10 *Old-fashioned- for nine dollars, this is truly one of the most amazing old-fashioned I've ever had. The flavor is perfect and it is really strong, I had mine made with bourbon, but you could also go with rye. With all of that, our total bill was $103 before tip. Truly cannot beat that with the quality of food, amazing service, and beautiful ambience. And thank you to Julian, one of the managers that came out to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our experience. We absolutely did, thank you!

Though there was a glitch on our online reservation where I got text reminders of our reservation, the hostess was not able to locate our reservation (should definitely fix that as it can be frustrating), we have another amazing experience after they seated us promptly. Located right next to the N Loop 1604 W, it is located in the plaza right next to the Heritage Oaks Office Park and Stewart Title Company. Not too difficult to find. We're always able to find parking at their large outdoor parking lot. We were celebrating our mother's 75th birthday and our uncle's 50th year wedding anniversary. We were well served by Jorge and Carlos Torres. They were extremely attentive, friendly and recognized our special celebration event. The food was amazing; picanha, filet, prime rib, beef ribs, shrimp were excellently prepared and warm. The salad bar had great variety. The Carajillo performance was amazing! Because of the great service by Jorge & Carlos Torres, as well as the great food, we will definitely come back again. Keep up the good work Galpao Gaucho, Jorge and Carlos!

We almost missed this restaurant because there is a little roadwork when you turn into this…read morerestaurant, we are glad that didn't! If this review was purely on service, this would be a 5 star complete rave of a review with nothing else to say. All I can say is that my wife and I were out for the night, and we felt like we were really being treated special by our waitress and truly all the waitstaff that came to our table. I will be back to this place, and it will become a local favorite of mine based on the service and atmosphere along. So let's talk about the food! Overall I would say this was a very good Brazilian steakhouse. A standout for me were the spicy and garlic picanha. Both of these were so flavorful and juicy we were talking about them long after we left for the night. The shrimp as well was spiced and cooked perfectly. We felt like for our specific visit the other meats, while cooked well were a little less flavorful than I normally like. We also felt that compared to other Brazilian steakhouses there was limited offerings on the salad bar, however I would not reduce review points based on this because the price is outstanding. The inconsistency of the meat offerings is the only reason this is a 4 star review. The last point I'll talk about is the cocktail offerings, this is another place where Galpao Gaucho shines. I believe that the Caipirinhas I had was one of, if not the best one I've ever had in my life. All the cocktails that we had were mixed well, and had a nice punch to them as well. I loved this place, and will certainly go back, this is a nice little treasure trove of meat on 1604 you should treat yourself to when you have a chance.
