Both sides included with steak price. Everything was absolutely delicious & steak was cooked to perfection. This past week I've been to Capital Grille & Longhorn Steakhouse & so far the Texas Roadhouse has been the best value $29.22 before tip as well as the best & biggest portion of beef to indulge & was the only steak house offering a Prime Rib steak. Fantastic service as Peyton was prompt & attentive to all the details. Manager even stopped by to ask about the meal & gave me a free appetizer coupon for next visit. This restaurant does not need my review. There is a line out the door every night. (San Pedro and 281) But the employees should know that we thoroughly enjoy how much they care and how wonderfully we're treated when we're there. We mostly sit at the bar and the bartenders are lovely and very attentive. The servers have always done a great job when we have sat in the dining room and the managers are present and seem to really be a part of the team. I see them helping everywhere. Texas Roadhouse is known for their ribs. I've eaten the ribs numerous times and have always enjoyed them. When you pick up your takeout order, the team member goes over each box before placing it in the bag. Unfortunately, I did not ask to open the box to look at the ribs. The takeout rib appetizer was unacceptable! One dried out piece of a rib cut from the slab and 3 other pieces of rib , the last piece was just a bone with no meat. I don't even know how the kitchen could serve this. They certainly wouldn't serve this to a dine in guest. I called and the manager issued a credit for a replacement. It has been awhile since we went to this restaurant but I did remember that it is best to get on the wait list. However, I didn't think the wait list would have an almost 2 hour wait time or I would have gotten on it sooner. Once our time finally came up we were seated fairly quickly. As usual the bread (which this time arrived at the table with us) is the real attraction - at least for me. It is hard not to fill up on the bread! I got the pulled pork as I usually do and it was quite good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I tried the raspberry tea and found it to be very good. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which he said was good. The restaurant was quite noisy with celebrations going on, but we know to expect this and this is part of the fun. First, let me say that I don't understand why there are so many 1 Star reviews. After we ate there, I read through them to see if we had a similar experience. We did not. We booked in the app, which said we would have a 45-55 minute wait. We drove about 30 minutes to get there and we checked in at the front and was seated within 5 minutes. So, getting seated was fast, since we used the app and planned our trip we'll. Once we sat, our service was great. Our server was nice and attentive. This was my first time eating at this location. It was very crowded on a Sunday afternoon so I recommend adding yourself to the waitlist. I'm a fan of Texas Roadhouse and was excited to eat here. Unfortunately, the kitchen overcooked my steak. I asked for medium and got medium well. The replacement took almost 30 minutes and it still wasn't correct. The manager watched me cut open the new steak and it was medium well to well done. They didn't apologize and seemed bothered by the fact that I asked for a replacement. I was with a group and everyone else had already finished eating when I got the second steak. Not wanting to complain further or delay dinner for everyone else, I just kept the steak. I asked the manager for a to-go box which was not brought to the table. On the plus side, the bread we received was hot and fresh straight out of the oven! I almost burnt my fingers, it was that hot! I am waiting for my order in which she said it can be about 20 minutes. Okay received my order and made it home. In the past I had a couple of bad experiences and as I reflect as to why I gave a lower rating, I need to recognize that it was right after the pandemic. The last few times, and there have been a few times, that we have visited this restaurant. Everything has been excellent. The food has been prepared as ordered. The staff has been excellent. The service has been top-notch. The atmosphere depending on the time of day is either moderately noisy or noisy so we try to choose a time when it's less noisy and it's wonderful to see how everything comes together. We had Peyton as a waiter and he was super nice and attentive. So I'm guessing everyday they have 3 drink specials, $5 margaritas (house tequila) long islands and for the beer Miller. We tried the Texas Roadhouse on San Pedro last night and we had a very good experience. We wanted a steak dinner and had several places to try. We chose TRH and decided to go early to beat the crowd. Lol, apparently everyone is going out early to beat the crowd. We arrived at 4:45 and waited for a parking place. With a short waiting list, we opted for two open seats at the bar. We were pleasantly surprised that the PEANUTS were back, and offered along with the amazing rolls. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and eventually ordered our steaks. The steaks were very good. Perfectly charred sirloin, tender, and grilled to "medium rare" The sides of salad and fresh vegetables were also delicious. The TRH outing was well worth the money and time. The drinks, appetizers, steaks and overall service were excellent. We had Lauren as our server and she was very attentive. The bar seating was fun. About as generic a box restaurant can get. The wait is always terribly long(45-1hr on any given night. The checkin online to join their wait list will save you 15-30 minutes. The place is always packed to the brim. The booths are tight, the fact you can't throw peanuts on the floor anymore is sad. For my drink, I ordered a frozen margarita with a patron kicker, which has a three dollar additional charge. My salad was very good and fresh the baked bread and honey cinnamon butter was amazing as always my steak was juicy, cooked perfectly, and tender. We ordered take out and when we arrived a couple minutes after our anticipated time they said it wasn't ready. Five minutes later they text to say it was ready. On the car ride home it smelled delicious! The bread was fresh for sure! We arrived to find a tasty medium rare sirloin and shrimp combo. The All American cheese burger was overcooked and not medium rare at all- no pink. Finally, I was looking forward to the prime rib but it was very chewy and I had to heat it up because it was cold. Wow that was a lot of meat we just had here. We got so lucky in being able to walk right in. On the way out there was a long line. Really friendly staff and when we told them that this was our first visit they brought out their famous sides and a coupon to come again. My better half and I shared a porter house. Our daughter got the cheeseburger and it was the best. So juicy. Not sure why but their cheese is so good. I even had all the cheese on the cheese fries. I'll start by saying Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite chain restaurants however it's obvious certain locations have different standards. Majority of the time, my steak comes out a perfect medium rare and everything is very tasteful but my last few times have been much of a disappointment. Steak was well done, rattlesnake bites were soggy and service wasn't as great as it typically is. It had been a few years since we'd visited Texas Roadhouse, mostly because it's always so busy by the time we get home from work. We got off a little early last week and decided to give it a shot! We checked in online and by the time we got there, even though there was still a wait for most, we were seated as soon as we arrived. We started with the cactus blossom. It was perfectly hot and crispy when it arrived but the Cajun sauce lacked the usual kick, for some reason, so we requested ranch instead. The ranch, too, seemed to lack salt and ranch seasoning! I don't know if they make it in house, but it was bland for ranch. We gave up on the blossom and decided to use it as an accompaniment to our entrées when they arrived. I ordered the bone-in ribeye for the first time because it always comes so highly recommended and everyone knows ribeye is super flavorful. I chose the Caesar salad and a sweet potato as a side (not loaded). The Caesar dressing was, you guessed it, bland. The appearance of the steak was nothing to write home about. It actually looked unappealing, like a strange and twisted blob with a bone. I expected it to be fatty, like ribeyes are, but because it looked so unusual I also thought it would be gristly. It wasn't!! The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking but, like everything to that point, it was seriously under seasoned. Those blossom petals came in handy for adding a little extra flavor. The sweet potato was very much overcooked. The interior was the consistency of mashed sweet potatoes. Disappointing. DH ordered the ribs. He ordered loaded chili and fries. He was pretty happy with his meal even though the chili was on the watery side. Service was good even though it took a while for the entrées to arrive and we had to get our waiter's attention a few times for refills, the ranch, etc. The interior was the same as we remembered it.
