Very good service and food at this pit stop with the crew. Owen was a great help and I wish I would've got the young lady's name that took the phone order. Very helpful. Definitely would be stopping back at this location. Great food great service they go hand-in-hand. The pick up was nice and easy. Owen even let me use the restroom before doing the transaction pulled right in and parked in the rear of the restaurant to the side by the to go area. I love the set up. Thanks again

So Packed Father's Day w son & family but seated pretty quickly ! I'm sure everywhere is packed on dads day nobody wants to cook? The place was a " well oiled machine " filled with young people running the show , lucky to have them working hard . I haven't been to the " roadhouse in years best memory the rolls the bread w cinnamon butter. Tiffany our server was great thank you . Table had small sirloin , prime rib , ribeye , & chicken fried steak . The Cesar salad was a hit along with baked potatoes sweet potatoes , corn , chili , sides . Prices like everywhere much higher than the years ago I visited wilmot branch . With the place so crowded & big large groups waiting mid afternoon again I commend the staff & management they had the " chaos under control , moving & served no complaints .I gave an extra star for extraordinary service under trying conditions .

Mango margarita with Patron tequila shot

I've been coming to this Texas roadhouse in Marana since they first opened about 24 years ago or so. Back then all the servers and staff in general used to lineup and do a song and dance about every 30 minutes or so for no particular reason and sing happy birthday to one or two of their guests. You would be able to get peanuts from this huge barrel in a tin can and throw the shells on the floor. Those days are now gone forever. No more songs, no more dance. Now you get peanuts in a bag and a tin can to dispose of your shells in (COVID-19 changed that) - Ah, the good old days how I miss them. We came here today for an early dinner and were seated at a booth with our warm rolls and cinnamon butter. Today I ordered an alcoholic drink which I hardly ever do. I ordered a mango margarita with Patron tequila for $3 more. For our entrees I ordered the country fried chicken with double mashed potatoes (brown gravy on potatoes and white gravy on steak) and hubby ordered the smothered chicken with loaded baked potato and green beans. No appetizer because they serve generous portions and I didn't want to ruin my appetite for my meal. The rolls are so delicious, you can taste the butter and salt on the roll with the tasty cinnamon butter on the inside (always a hit). My margarita was delicious but a bit too sweet for my liking. If you like sweet alcoholic drinks you will love their sweet flavored margaritas. My chicken covered with white grave actually tasted really good in the brown gravy that was on my potatoes (I kept dipping in brown gravy then next bite white gravy), so good. I did try hubby's smothered chicken (which has sautéed mushrooms) it was very good. His meal was so good, I just might order that next time. Our server was Harley and she was just fantastic. She always brought hubby a full glass of iced tea without him requesting one. She was just awesome. We've tried many dishes from this location over the years and I always find myself ordering their chicken fried chicken or baby back ribs. On another note I just wanted to mention, I noticed a lot of staff were high school students (mostly busboys or hostesses) which I think is absolutely fantastic. This made me happy because these kids are trying to better their lives and not be out on the streets or stuck home on their phones all day. I love that Texas Roadhouse hires high school students and this makes me want to come back more often. I'm giving them another star from my previous review. Good job Texas Roadhouse!

Places are successful because they stay the course and do what they do best. Today we went with the four meat platter, perfect amount for two people, brisket, pulled pork, turkey and sausage. With four side of coleslaw, mac and cheese, potato salad and cornbread. All meats are still sauced unless requested "on the side", but not so much to overwhelm the meat taste. Juicy flavorful pulled pork. Delicious smoked turkey. Brisket was just slightly dry but the sauce and nice bark made it enjoyable. The sausage was AMAZING, juicy and packed with flavor. Coleslaw in my opinion, could use a little more "wetness" but it was still delicious. What can I say about the mac and cheese and potato salad, people from the south, Texas to the Carolina's just know how to get it done. The "Texas Sweet Tea", if you are a diabetic do not drink, however this is a true southern tea, it's done the same all across the south, sugar with some tea thrown in. Four meats, four sides and two drinks with tip $50, not bad for two people, I've definitely spent more for food that didn't even come close to this. Once again Smoky Mo you did not disappoint. If you are a BBQ person this is STILL the best of Tucson. Get out and support this small local business!

I loved this place and frankly, although great Mexican food in Tucson is a given, I didn't know they had good barbeque too. They had all my favorites, so my wife and I decided to split the The Big "Q" Platter for $38. This included Brisket, Pulled Pork, Tri-tip, Sausage, Turkey, two St. Louis Style Pork Ribs, and 4 slices of toast with our choice of two eight-ounce sides (we chose the baked beans and coleslaw. My favorites were the Ribs, Brisket, Tri-tip, and baked beans. The turky was solid and smokey. I'm not really a fan of sausage, but my wife enjoyed these. I loved that you could really taste the smokey taste and that everything was fresh, juicy, and tender. The baked beans were the kind of love, with pieces of pork throughout the mixture. Because we split this platter (with leftovers), it was quite a good deal. When the bill came, the waitress listed a bunch of things that qualified for an extra discount, so we scored an additional 10% off for being seniors. If I lived in Tucson, this place would be on my regular restaurant rotation, which is high praise indeed!

A warm greeting up entering, always a plus. It wasn't all that busy for a Saturday afternoon, I'm thinking we missed the lunch rush and the pregame final four rush. Perfect timing. We started with the Pulled pork/mac and cheese balls. Delicious pulled pork mixed with Mac and cheese rolled in cribs and deep fried to a golden brown served on top of cheese sauce and green onion garnish. What a special treat perfect opening appetizer. My son and I both had the three meat plate with pulled pork, brisket and beef sausage. It was served with an outstanding tangy coleslaw, a pretty darn good piece of cornbread and I had the baked beans which were perfectly sweet although very slightly dry. The pulled pork was flavorful, juicy and melted in your mouth. Paired with the tangy bbq sauce it was a treat that was hard to beat. The beef sausage, most people would have said was burnt, but let me tell you, that is how the ends of sausage should be. Great beefy flavor, well seasoned. The beef brisket had ONE good quality, it was juicy, after that is where it went completely down hill. ZERO flavor, none, it was extremely thin, almost 50/50 meat to fat cap ratio. No smoke flavor, no seasoning, nothing. Almost like it was boiled to tenderness. This is where this review went from 5 stars to 4. Brisket is meant to be heavily seasoned and put in the smoker. All in all Fork and Fire still puts out great food although be prepared to pay. Over $100 for lunch for 2 with tip. But with beef what it is today it's getting harder and harder to find good deals. I'm very familiar with how burnt ends are made and I know if they didn't have them they didn't have them, but they cut up some brisket for me and sauced it. Good effort. So let's talk about the different components of the combo plate. I try to order the smallest quantity of all the meats when I'm at a new BBQ joint. The brisket was good, but not great. I wanted more bark on the brisket. The ribs were good and not overcooked. The pulled pork and chicken wings were awesome. The pulled pork was flavorful and not dried out. The chicken wings were what appeared to me perfectly cooked, excellent flavor and texture. It may be a good thing for them to offer a Buffalo sauce side with blue cheese/ranch. Maybe an opportunity? The sides, I had the coleslaw, mac & cheese, and Texas Toast. The coleslaw was average ie cabbage mix and some mayo based dressing? The mac & cheese was very good. I wanted the cheese sauce to be thicker. They did put a Tucson twist on it by adding a Mexican cheese to it.The Texas Toast was cooked to perfection. I would guess their grill cheese is amazing.
