That said, I'm not thrilled about eating inside there; it's noisy and hectic. If you have to eat indoors try the bar. But even though noisy and hectic, the service is excellent. If you going to have steak, get the bigger cuts, the small cuts aren't as good. But I only go for the ribs and take them out. read more

We hadn't been to a TR in years & I had forgotten how much I like it! I didn't even know that there was a franchise here in Tucson. So happy to have found one again. The warm,soft rolls with cinnamon butter are a wonderful start to any meal. Steaks are always tender, juicy & flavorful. There's a great variety of sides & they are delicious. Texas Roadhouse is great ! Without a doubt the best Texas Roadhouse I've been too. As soon I walk into the restaurant I was greeted with the very friendly staff and seated right away with bread and butter and not much longer our very cool and friendly waitress Sydney came by and took our order with great hospitality I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious and not only that but restaurant was very clean and well kept inside and out. This place is kinda a gimmick restaurant. Not exactly what I want to see when I go to a steak house. Prices were just about where they should be for a steakhouse. Our waitress Alexia was amazing and even our busser, Austin was very helpful. I ordered the bone in ribeye. It was cooked very well, so that was great. The problem with the steak was the amount of fat in it. I've eaten at just about every steakhouse in Tucson, so I know what this particular cut of meat entails. This was just low quality meat. I guess with these gimmick type restaurants, you are paying more for the gimmicks and the quality of the food suffers. I will say, my side of green beans was prepared very well also though. Over the last few years, I've really grown to like Texas roadhouse. Is it the best steak dinner you'll ever have? Absolutely not. Is it loud? YES. But we always have a great time when we go. They have some wonderful early bird specials. And I've always found the meals to be loaded with options, The staff is always excellent and vibrant. I really think they have a great combination of value. I love the fact that we can get sweet potatoes, and the Caesar salad we had there was crisp, fresh and perfectly proportioned. I ordered a New York strip. But the star of the show with my mothers 8 ounce sirloin. We all tried a little bite of it and we thought it was absolutely outstanding. I'll start by stating I haven't been here in 3+ yrs, I should have made it longer, and I should have taken the usual pics. we went on Saturday night around 7:45 and the place was packed with a wait. I had called ahead so we were seated immediately with piping hot rolls and cinnamon butter. That was the best part of the evening. we waited appx 15 minutes for a order to be taken at which time we ordered the onion blossom for an app, (the main reason we came as we have been missing "Outback's". Well this was not Outback's and we barely ate a 3rd of it. Our orders were also taken at this time. after quite a wait, 25-30 minutes pot salads came out, along with our entrees. I told our server we would have like our salads first and he offered to take our prime rib, (we both ordered 16oz), back to the kitchen to keep it WARM. Not wanting my dinner to sit under a heat lamp I told him to leave everything. the meat was tender but there was more fat than meat, and the mashed potatoes distinctly tasted like instant. I asked for a mgr but one never appeared before our check was brought to the table which I promptly paid so as to get out of that joint. as the name states, it is like a roadhouse inside, not comfortable and we were waiting for a fight to break out at any time. that will be my/our last visit. read more

This was my first time going to Texas Roadhouse and like everyone says the dinner rolls with cinnamon butter was fantastic. I got the cactus blossom and that also blew me away, it was a strong start. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it really let me down. The meat was dry and there was not enough sauce to combat that, and I was almost choking every couple of bites, thankfully the fries were also a hit. There is one last highlight, and that is the service. Our server was Jessica and she was one of the nicest servers I've ever had, she was attentive and constantly checking up on us. Let me start by saying the servers were amazing. Both visits. The first visit, my grandmothers ribs were very dry and overcooked. The manager, Jesse Ford, came over and told us that the ribs were cooked correctly, and he wouldn't be able to fix it because the ribs would come out the same way. The other meals were cooked correctly, but we were disappointed in how management handled the situation. The second visit my girlfriend ordered a sirloin streak cooked medium rare with a baked potato. The steak was incredibly tough, charred, and dry. The baked potato came out packed with salt. Update: We have not frequented this restaurant in over a year as the service had been poor the last couple of times we went. The atmosphere is always loud, which is neither positive or negative, it just depends on your taste. On one of our last visits, my wife's steak was tough and unacceptable. The restaurant did bring her out another steak, and the manager paid a visit to our table. That I can appreciate. We frequent this restaurant, and they always have the best steaks. This was not the case and I was pleasantly surprised. Alyssa was our server. They sat all 8 of us promptly. The restaurant was busy but she got our dink orders quickly. Then appetizers and salads right after. Our meals were served hot and in a reasonable amount of time. There was a lot of teamwork and every request we had was done with a smile. Several substitutions and special requests and they got them all right. The steaks were cooked as ordered. If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner this is not your place. There were 4 of us who ordered sirloins, rib eyes & a full rib platter. Service was fast, friendly, food cooked well. The ribs were fall off the bone tender.
