Long wait for a table, more than an hour. We were not allowed to sit inside and wait for our table and had to sit outside in the cold. Food was sub par. The only thing good about the meal was the rolls. To their credit Management did apologize and did give us a refund on part of our meal where the order was not correct. Our party of five was on a 10 minute wait list and was hurried out of our cars by our mother and told that they (restaurant staff) were waiting for us. Once we were all inside we had to wait about 20 minutes ( I have two elderly parents and a toddler). Our waitress Brittany was very professional and pleasant BUT, the food was absolutely horrible with the exception of the rolls, mashed potatoes, cheese sticks except the salty sauce, and the onion bloom. The ribs were burnt and dry. I sent 1/2 rack back and requested a refund. The mac n cheese had no flavor, my brother's burger was burnt, the broccoli was hard as a rock despite the three ppl that ordered it asking for it to be cooked softly due to missing teeth or dentures. The broccoli was sent back to be prepared as requested but brought back to the table the same condition. We went to Texas Roadhouse last night to celebrate my mom and her big accomplishment, but unfortunately, the experience was beyond disappointing. Our server was incredibly slow, and the overall service was horrible. The only positive part of the night was Sarah, the manager--she was very nice and tried to help, but that didn't change what happened afterward. By the time we got home, every single one of us ended up with severe food poisoning. It's unacceptable to go out for a nice dinner and end up sick because of it. We're extremely disappointed and will definitely not be back. I hope management takes this seriously because no one should have to go through this after a meal. read more

My wife and I went to Texas Roadhouse in McDonough Georgia. We were on the wait list. Sat in about two minutes. Server came over. Took our order. Food came out. It was delicious. The steak I ordered was cook correctly. The baked sweet potato was delicious. My wife has a salad and baked sweet potato. She loved them. Ambiance was good. Noise was level was good. We love coming to Texas Roadhouse in McDonough. Great variety, something for everyone. Our waitress was so wonderful and even sung happy birthday to our son! We love the rolls and of course fried apps are always great. Margarita (liable) was tasty. Never too strong so ask for an extra shot if you need more alcohol. It's a fun bar vibe but still family friendly. It's not a surprise that it's not a great culinary surprise. But it's a great franchise place to get a great meal at a reasonable price. I love Texas roadhouse I visit many locations across the country. I will stay on this particular day at this location. It was extremely packed so much so that the expo wasn't doing a good job of plate presentation. There was bacon on my fries that I've asked for no bacon to be on, however Alexis, our server was absolutely fantastic. She was professional. She was prompt. She was knowledgeable. She was courteous. It was my first time at a Texas roadhouse and I really enjoyed it. The wife and I went right in at opening time on Black Friday and was seated immediately. Fresh hot rolls were at the table before I was. The server Latasha came out and got our drink orders. We opted for the fried pickles as our appetizer and they were great. Lightly fried, juicy, and overall just amazing. Time to order our entrees now. Wifey wanted the country fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. Me well.... I had to go big the first time. I got the 12 oz Fort Worth ribeye with a side kick of ribs. My sides consisted of steak fries and a Caesar salad. Man man man. What a steak. Medium well. Came out juicy and flavorful. I loved it. To start this review off, I would have to say that the butter here is technically cheating, however I will rate it no matter what. Spreadability - The spreadability was not tested as well as it should have been. But from what I tested, it was quite soft and easy to spread. Next, the taste. The taste was very different. It was not regular butter, instead, it was actually cinnamon butter. It was an interesting choice but it was very good and went well with the rolls. The creaminess was average, nothing out of this world but nothing bad. The packaging was boring. I did not take a picture this time so you'll have to take my word for it. It was in a small black bowl. As boring as it can get. The appearance looked about expected for cinnamon butter. Light brown with specks. It was very appetizing and appealing. Final words - Overall a very unique invention towards butter. I'm glad that they managed to pull it off successfully. Although everything looked good in appearance, the flavor was just not there. The steak was order medium well but came out well done and dry. The ribs tasted like a lot of salt was dumped on it in certain places. The Mac and cheese looked like boiled Kraft cheese. The string beans did taste good and the Cactus onion was delicious. The Caesar salad didn't look quite full either. I don't think I'd go back with so many other choices in that area. With the Name Texas on the wall I'd expect Great Steaks and Ribs.
