We ordered the Beef Tips w/ onions, mushrooms and brown gravy with 1 pint of smashed potatoes, green beans , corn and a huge Caesar Salad w/ a dozen rolls with that famous cinnamon butter! Literally ruined my dad's birthday. We had a small table of 6 adults and 2 kids. It took almost 2 hours until we all got our food and check and child leave. We also asked for them to sing happy birthday when we order dessert, and I guess our waitress forgot? But it didn't happen. Our dessert was just dumped off at our table. We had happy birthday balloons and gifts at the table so I'm not sure how she forgot. It was probably 30 minutes in between each time we saw our waitress. And it was not a busy time! read more

Man Texas Roadhouse is popular. Came on a Friday evening around 530p and there were a lot of people. Might be an understatement haha. Parking was hard to find in the area surrounding the restaurant, so we followed the crowd and parked on the other side of the street haha. We decided to wait the hour (we had driven all the way out here so why not) and looked at the pieces of meat and the sides coming out the window. Kinda keeps me just hurry and wait for my name to be called. They also have a lot of peanuts to tide you over while you wait, if you so choose. It did take a while but it did happen! This place is bigger than it seems and we finally made our way to a table! I had decided to go for a filet mignon (I think they had an option for a 12 or 16oz) and came with a choice of two sides: buttered corn, seasoned rice, green beans, chili, house salad, caesar salad, applesauce, fresh veggies, steak fries, mashed potatoes, baked or sweet potatoes. Yeah that list is kinda hard to try and pick and choose. I went with the steak fries and the potatoes. Get their bread. Eat it with the butter. Rinse and repeat. The steak was done medium, and it still had enough juices and flavors in there to make me want more. Just kidding. It actually made me extremely full, the filet mignon. It was really tender and went down pretty easily. I enjoyed the steak and the sauces that secreted my steak fries as well, which were just so-so. I like how they also have calorie counts for everything on here as well. Filet mignon is goooooood. The service here was good; it was never a problem to track down our server to see what we needed. The restaurant can get messy tho - I saw a lot of peanut shells on the floor under different tables. Welps what can ya do. Great food went with the family and I asked for a well done steak as I am pregnant and the server brought me a medium well and when I asked can I get it fully cooked it seemed like a bother to the server, the manager was the one that brought my food back so idk if she thought I was making an issue , but besides that the food was good. read more

Hare hare hare baka, i just recenty discovered Texas roadhouse cinnamon butter. Prior to discovering said cinnamon butter, I had regular butter on my rolls. My life at this point has been very dark and sad up until I found my cinnamon butter. One day you friendly neighborhood sigma walks in the Texas roadhouse doors. Everything is normal the waitress asks me if I want cinnamon butter for my rolls. I can't describe the utter shock that I received when I heard the news. Honestly I'm not sure why just about every Texas Roadhouse restaurant is packed with people, waiting to get in. I just don't get it. We planned a late lunch at 2:00 pm so we can skip the lunch crowd and we still had to wait almost an hour to get seated, granted we were a party of 9, but still, to have mediocre food at that. Let's just say our steaks were not cooked liked we ordered them and all of our dishes weren't hot, by that time we just ate what got delivered to our table because we were hungry. The sides were a joke! Nothing special at all. Everything was out of a can. Nothing fresh from these sides at all. Seated right away with no wait. Pleasant greeting by Zach. Placed my order and out came a fresh house salad and delicious warm rolls... gotta love that cinnamon butter! When I unrolled the silverware I noticed the napkin was dirty and small plates were wet; I'm sure from the dishwasher. Quickly replaced with a apology and on my enjoy meal. Ordered the combo 12oz ribeye steak with ribs. Ribs were falling off the bone, tender. Steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, just like I like it! Yes, I did get "to go boxes" so I can enjoy later. Zach is very attentive asking several times if there was anything I needed. Great service! This is my second time coming to Texas Roadhouse, both times with one of my best friends, this time my best friend Bri and I were very hungry and looking for some good BBQ, and I guess at night time everyone closes, but Texas Roadhouse was open until 2200 so that's what we decided to get. Once we got there, we met Jessie, who was delightful, very respectful and friendly, she showed us menu, and she explained the certain types of steaks. She was very patient with us and very understanding. I got the Ribeye steak with Ribs, with mashed potatoes and gravy, and Mac and cheese, with a strawberry lemonade. And for desert a strawberry cheese cake. I don't really like chain restaurants, but I won't lie there steak was delicious, very fresh, cooked to perfection, juicy as can be, and flavorful. My side dishes were great and very enjoyable, my cheese cake was amazing tbh. The loaded fries were the best, no lie the best ever. You guys must try the loaded fries. I am very satisfied with my food, the customer service and the attention to detail. Jessie thank you for everything, and thank you making sure our food was prepared the right way, and for making us feel welcomed, I really appreciate that. my favorite place to be on a friday, after a long day, is texas roadhouse. this one, specifically, has set the bar extremely high. i was expecting it to be busy, but i was seated within 5 minutes of entering the restaurant. as soon as i sat down, i was greeted kindly and my order was taken. i was given the freshest, warmest, cooked-to-perfection buns that warmed my tummy and fixed my craving! i was also given the best strawberry lemonade i've ever tasted. and while i waited for my steak, i saw staff interact with a regular customer, help others as fast as they could, and keep their area clean. when my steak arrived, i cut into it, and it was cooked perfectly! it's refreshing to be in an environment like the one here, and if it wasn't so far, i'd probably be a regular, too. read more

I like the fact that you don't have to go in at all to pick up your order. They have created a slide window to pull up and grab your food to go. You can also walk in on the other side of the restaurant and place a to go order. I think that's cool because of Covid. My order was perfect... no items was missing. We were greeted immediately which was nice, however our appetizer took longer than usual to come out and then when we received it, it looked like it was thrown together in 5 seconds. It's too crowded." is almost true for this place. Try to not go during prime time eating hours, get it "Prime Time".. LOL. Hints: Order to go, get on the online wait list, consider dropping off everybody else in your party and THEN go and find parking, if none found, don't wait, people can take forever just to exit a parking space, park across the street and walk! On carry out make sure you ask for rolls and probably ask for extra butter, for some reason they don't always give you enough. The best value in BBQ ribs is to add a "kicker" of ribs to your main meal. Now that they have fixed their mobile app and improved the website, ordering for carry out and online wait list you can do it, dress appropriately you might have to walk a ways to get in. The food was always excellent but the carryout experience was terrible.. NOT ANYMORE! With online wait list and much improved online carryout accuracy, it is hard to ding them for being very busy. They have great service all the way around and the BEST steaks and ribs at a good value! On our last visit the three filet Medallions medium topped with peppercorn and over seasoned rice, the medallions were a little tough, which was the first time this has happened to me. We also decided to try the Bacon Cheeseburger, medium rare, because we are always looking for a GREAT hamburger. If a place can make a medium rare hamburger correctly and safely, that is usually the best way to get a burger and there bacon cheeseburger medium rare is a five star burger. We also got the Chicken Caesar Salad which is always great, IMHO. My only complaint this time was due to only having one checkout at the takeout which was a bottleneck when we visited. I've never been to any of their restaurants and since it's my sisters favorite place. When she asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday, I decided to give it a try. The place was packed amidst a pandemic, to me that is normally a good sign but I was weary and had my mask on. My sister had made reservations through an app so even with the lines we pretty much went right in and that's when it all fell apart. Half a star for the reservation app. Rolls were quickly brought to the table and my sister raves about their cinnamon butter. I buttered my little roll with delight and anticipation. Took a bite and promptly spit it out. For future reference cinnamon butter is not for me. Asked for regular butter and that eventually made it to the table. Since this is obviously a personal preference no stars lost and the rolls were very good. But seriously. Has anyone ever had a bad yeast roll? I decided to keep it simple and ordered a chicken fried steak with sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese. My sister raves about how big they are, size of the plate so you know I was ready for it. My friend a vegetarian wanted just a baked potato with all the fixings minus the bacon obviously and a side of steak fries with cheese. Don't look at me, talk to him. Dinner was finally served, both his baked potato and fries had bacon bits even after very carefully making sure they would not be. Sent back and the wait commenced In the mean time my little chicken fried steak was no where near the size of the plate. No biggie the sweet potato was the smallest thing I ever did see. It could have been so much better. Let me start off multiple times at multiple extremely good. The past few times the steaks have been served cold. This time I got a steaming hot like couldn't even eat it. But my steak was stone cold. Brought this up to the winner answer the manager. What offer to re-cook my rare steak to make sure it was "warm" the problem here is that my Denver steak is no longer rare and I didn't either have a warm yet overcooked steak or I have a cold steaks the way I wanted it. I was very surprised @ how good the green beans were. I wasn't expecting them to be seasoned. They were also cooked with bacon. The country fried chicken was served with gravy. I've been going here ever since I was a teenager and there is no way I would ever go back to this location. My husband got the bone in rib-eye, and by all means I know this isn't a fancy steakhouse, but it had no flavor. Some parts of the steak were bright red like rare, and others were well done. It was strange. He ordered it well. My brother in law got the same cut and had the same issues, and said his baked potato was really dry. I ordered the salmon which I know isn't their speciality, and I did get the smaller portion and it was very small so that's my bad for not realizing how much 5 ounces really was, but it was split in the middle, and so over cooked that it was almost white. It was so dry. I made a reservation for 3 with a high chair and they tried to sit us in a table for 2. We told the hostess there was no was and she said "uhhh ok" and spun around and stepped on my whole foot (I had sandals on too) and said "oh. Sorry" like she didn't care. We saw a 4 seater and she said, "yeah I have to go check, can you hold your bread" and walked away. She came back and said "can I sit y'all in the 600's?" And we shrugged and said ok... it was away from all the TVs in the back. It was just really weird. We invited a friend to come and the tab was $220 and it just seemed like a shame for food that wasn't tasty. Nothing was good. I got my side of chili to go and ate it later and the chili meat was burnt and in huge chunks. Like black burnt chunks. I've been to the one in Flower Mound and it was like a different restaurant. I went to TRH on April 29th, 2023 with two of my sisters, and we enjoyed our meal. I had a full slab of Ribs, loaded bake potatoe and house salad with homemade rolls. One of my sisters ordered 3-piece Catfish with house salad , and my other sister had Ribs., broccoli, and applesauce. Everything was cooked to perfection. Love this place and the Prices.
