Perfect meals today. Ava was our server. She was over the top. Best service I've had in years anywhere.

The service was great and the food was very good but there was hair in my food and it honestly took a while to come. Other wise this was pretty good I would recommend.

I mean, it's a chain. It is not fast food, but the vibe does not resonate as fine dining. The front of house is primarily operated by teenagers and young adults. The 'chef' is cooking premade options. Having said that, the overall experience is worth a casual visit. Consistency and above average cleanliness help. Attention to detail is hit or miss. Overall, sure why not. Sit down and relax whilst you are served. Bon appetite!

Always a good trip to the roadhouse, never a bad meal never a problem. We had gone on Veterans Day and everything went wonderful like always smooth as can be. The staff were really friendly and kind to the veterans especially the ones that I had with me. Our meal was over the top of the better ones I ever had. I truly like this one down in Smithfield. It's a bit easier to get in and get out of. It's not caught in the middle of any mall traffic and stuff like some of other ones I go to. this has been the second time I've gone to this one particular and I really enjoyed my stay there and my food keeper up the good work Smithfield Texas RoadHouse.

Used to love Texas Roadhouse but it has gone down hill. We ordered food for pick up as we have many times in the past. Food was all terrible. Check out a pic of the sliders that weren't edible. Burger isn't even as big as the mini bun hahaha

Sunday Brunch Buffet…read more I was impressed with the brunch buffet, and Mason's in general. The restaurant was stunning and everyone loves sn open view if the kitchen. The buffet was epic- perfectly cooked baked eggs, bacon hash, and scrambled eggs were all uniquely prepared and excellent. The star of the show sat in the middle of the table with generous portions of prime rib were carved and hand salted on your plate. The buffet line continued with a lox platter, crudité, omelets to order, and a variety of up scale pastries. There was literally nothing on the buffet that was not noteworthy. We loved our drinks (bloody & cinnamon toast brunch) while the GM came over to chat. Our waitress Cheyanne was on point and helped us decide on our juice choices for the Bucket of Bubbles that rounded out our drink order. Excited to try dinner at this place, and would not be surprised if brunch reservations start to fill up far in advance.

Grilled Prawns - the highlight of the night. They were huge, perfectly cooked, and the creamy sauce was delicious. I'd come back just for those. Octopus - overcooked and bland. Beef carpaccio - overloaded with Parmesan, which completely overpowered the beef, and it lacked flavors. Crab fried rice- oily and it was also lacked of flavors. We had to pour the steak sauce on top of the rice to make it flavorful. The biggest disappointment was the ribeye steaks. Out of 8 steaks, only one was cooked to the requested temperature. Most were served rare instead of medium, and while the inside was undercooked, the outside was overly charred, leaving a bitter taste. Service was attentive, valet was convenient, and the restaurant is beautiful. However, for the price, the food quality just wasn't there.

We have been there for special menus including Thanksgiving and found them good value. I was the only one drinking and just had a 6oz glass of wine. The others had sparkling water and one drank coffee. I had the calamari which was delicious and the 8oz steak frites - the steak was done just right, medium rare, and the thin fries crispy as I like them. (I had to take home some of the meat home as I couldn't finish it.) My companion had the burrata which was decent and the others started with the Caesar salad which was tasty. One person had the veal which was just okay but nothing to write home about. Two people had the mushroom steak with risotto which was slightly spicy but surprisingly not worth having - both diners were disappointed and left much of it uneaten. (I tried it and was also unimpressed.) Three of us ordered the bread pudding and I ate the affogato. They were up-to par. Our server was cheerful and efficient. She did a good job, bustling around. The meal was prepared by the sous chef with the chef away on a break. (We have been here with better meals prepared by him.) My starter came way before the other appetizers (not good). For once, we were generally unimpressed and unhappy with our food, which did not deserve more than 2 1/2 stars. I gave it a low two.. I was going to recommend the restaurant to gourmet visitors who will coming from Paris in the later summer, but decided that I will not do so. We will probably return again, but not for a while.

My diet has changed in the last ten years since going plant based and eliminating animal products. I saw a social media post from Mill's about their new vegan offerings and booked a dinner resy. These folks made our meal memorable: Marcus (our gracious host), Katie (our friendly server), the bartender (I didn't get her name), and the chef who worked hard to craft vegan dishes. The drinks, apps, mains, and desserts were 10/10. Fresh pasta, veggies, mushrooms were cooked and presented perfectly. I'm so happy to still support this place and have a chef that created sustainable options for vegans. Already looking forward to my next visit.

We got to dine outdoors but in a covered setting. The menu had my favorite foods, all food was impeccable, and I was there celebrating my 20th anniversary with my husband. Our trip was all about our anniversary, and we celebrated every day and night doing our favorite things... sightseeing, relaxing and eating fabulous food. It started with some great bread service. We then ordered two appetizers... stuffed artichokes and crispy calamari. The grilled artichokes were stuffed with spinach and pecorino romano cheese and drenched in a green goddess sauce. It was very tasty. The calamari came with 3 different peppers tossed throughout. The calamari had a thicker batter than we typically get, but it still tasted quite good, maybe with a zip of spiciness added, too. I think we just prefer a lighter, more tempura-like batter, but we still kept eating it. As for our entree, we actually split one order of the rack of lamb. Each rack was 8 oz., maybe more. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and we had more than enough meat for each of us to eat. We ordered a Bearnaise sauce to go with it. Ironically, as much as I love a good Bearnaise, I ended up eating the lamb without it because it was prepared so well on its own. We also ordered a trio of sides... their mashed potatoes, which were so creamy and buttery (my mouth is watering now just thinking about them), as well as mushrooms and asparagus, both of which were so well seasoned. This was a meal fit for a king and queen, to be sure... and certainly, for an anniversary celebration. Last but not least, no celebratory meal can end without dessert, so we ordered their chocolate mousse cake. It looked gorgeous as we saw other tables ordering it, so that was enough for us to want it. It definitely was as incredible as it looked. A perfect ending to a magnificent meal. Such a great way to close out the last evening in Newport and first stop on our 12-day anniversary road trip. I so wish we lived closer, and if I have anything to say about it, someday we'll return, but in the meantime, thanks for the great memories.

Ambiance: 5/5 This is what carries the place. An elite spot in Newport, Rhode Island with fantastic vibes. The location and atmosphere are just exceptional. Five out of five, no question. Service: 2/5 Not what you'd expect at this price point. Drinks took a while, and we never got bread while other tables did. The waiter wasn't rude, but at a premium steakhouse, I expect premium service. Simple as that. Food: 3/5 My wife and I ordered the New York strip, two lobster tails, lobster bisque, and a side of asparagus. The lobster bisque was fantastic -- loaded with lobster, incredibly tasty. My wife called it a top five lobster bisque she's ever had. Only knock was it wasn't piping hot when it arrived. The lobster tails were the star of the show. Truly excellent -- warm lobster butter, cooked perfectly. But I'll be honest, you're in the lobster capital of the world. I expect that. Other restaurants in Newport probably deliver the same. The New York strip was disappointing. I ordered medium rare and it came out closer to medium well. For a $55 steak at a place known for their steaks, that is simply not acceptable. The cut itself wasn't impressive either. I've been to great steakhouses around the world and this does not belong in that conversation. Overall: 3/5 Come here for the vibes -- it's a genuinely great date night spot in one of the most beautiful settings in New England. The food is good but expensive, and the service needs work. What gets them through is their location and atmosphere, and they know tourists will come and pay the premium regardless. If you're expecting an elite steakhouse experience, look elsewhere. If you're expecting a beautiful night out in Newport, you'll leave happy.

Somehow, every time I've come here, the experience has been excellent. I honestly cannot remember a single bad meal. This isn't a place I visit every week or even every month. It's more of a special occasion destination every few months. Part of the reason is that every visit turns into an event. We always go for the full experience, and by the time we leave, we're completely stuffed, happy, and already talking about when we'll come back. The quality of the food is outstanding. Everything arrives hot, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Whether it's one of the signature cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, pork, or something from the Market Table, I've yet to find an item that disappointed me. Usually, by the end of the meal, I've lost track of how many different things I've tried because I'm too busy enjoying all of it. One thing that always makes me laugh is the famous red and green card system. In theory, you flip the card to green when you want more food and red when you need a break. In reality, after a few visits, the staff seems to remember what you like. I've had servers and gauchos walk by with cuts they know I enjoy and offer them before I even have a chance to flip the card. That's not a complaint. It's actually one of the reasons the experience feels so personal. The service deserves just as much praise as the food. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed warmly. Throughout the meal, someone is always checking to make sure you're enjoying yourself, asking if you need anything, and making sure the experience lives up to expectations. It never feels forced or scripted. The staff genuinely seems to care that you're having a great time. We usually arrive around 5:00 or 5:30, before the dinner rush really gets going. That timing has always worked well for us and allows for a relaxed, enjoyable meal without feeling crowded or rushed. Fogo de Chão isn't inexpensive, but that's because you're getting an experience, not just a meal. Between the quality of the food, the attention from the staff, and the overall atmosphere, I've always felt like I got my money's worth. At this point, if someone asks me where to go in Providence for a memorable dinner, Fogo de Chão is always near the top of my list. Fantastic food, exceptional service, and a level of consistency that is surprisingly rare these days. Five stars without hesitation.
