Went to Texas roadhouse for lunch with my wife and couldn't be more disappointed in this location. After we placed our order, the manager came around and introduced herself and told us if there was any issues please let her know. Ordered a steak, medium and after an inordinate amount of time, came out like shoe leather. They asked me if I would like another steak and I told them not if it was going to take the same amount of time it took for us to get the food the first time. They assured me it wouldn't be long and after my wife was completed her meal they finally brought out my steak. The manager who made a point to introduce herself, was nowhere to be found and left the poor waitress to deal with the issue. The interesting part is while we were there another couple that had an issue with their meal and as we were leaving, a customer was bringing their takeout meal back in due do an issue. I've been three times while on vacation in Fl. Because we've had better quality of food and good service. The first two waiters in different restaurants were excellent. I always appreciate someone coming back to refill my drink. When someone doesn't ever return until the check comes that is detrimental to my dining experience. I took my wife to Texas Roadhouse for lunch because she wanted a steak. We were set way in the back away from everyone else so we were wondering they would forget about us. The waiter came over right away and talked to us and we ordered our food. It came out cooked to perfection. The waiter had to help out back in the kitchen so he had a couple of waitresses keep checking on us. We went for bone in ribeye our favorite but they were out. We ordered mich ultra they were out. I never got my drink until id finished eating. My husband never got his 2nd beer at all and we never got our rolls until we were leaving. We felt ignored and invisible. The worst service I've ever had. We only get curbside service since we find this restaurant annoyingly noisy. Every singe time I have ordered (at least 5x), there has been an issue. The order is typically 15-20 minutes late. I don't pick the time for it to be ready, the restaurant does, but they just can't get it right. So there we sit in the curbside pickup area. At least there are nice green bushes to stare at while we wait. And wait. Yesterday the employee brought out our food 20 minutes after the promised time and stood over me, asking me to check the order. That's sad. So I had to take each box out of the bag and open the box to see what was inside. The kids meal was completely missing, as were all the sauces and dressings. This place is fresh and fun and yummy. The staff stopped and started line dancing while we were here. Food is great. Menu is good. Beer is cold. Service knowledgeable and friendly. They will do well in Ocala. 3rd day open and it's packed. They are only open for lunch on Sat and Sun. Rest of the week they open at 4pm Eryn Victoria and TC are crushing it at the bar. My worst experience ever at a Texas Roadhouse. Asked for rolls twice. Soda took 10 minutes. They served our meals before our salads. My beef kabob was served with no rice and the meat was over cooked. My other guest's steaks were undercooked. 5-10 minutes after telling our server we never received our salads, he brought them to us. Wrong dressing. As I am finishing my meal he brought me a small bowl of rice. We love our Deer Park, NY location. The food and service is always wonderful. A manager always stops by the table and asks if everything was satisfactory. No such concern tonight. This location in Ocala was terrible. Too bad. read more

Once again, wait time was very minimal, our waitress, Lainee, was kind and professional. Great at up selling on the shrimp! Texas Roadhouse never misses and I have to say this dinner was a 10/10! First time visiting one in Florida. Lively fun atmosphere :) Our servers Tim and Jasmine were so awesome. Tim was very attentive and took the time to show our kids (who love to draw) some of his doodles in their notebook while we waited for our food. He also suggested money saving swaps and didn't forget a single detail about the items the 5 of us ordered. We ordered: NY strip steak, ribs, sirloin, mashed potatoes, butter corn, Caesar salad and side of fries as well as veggies. I highly recommend their mango margarita- it was so tasty!! I also recommend checking in via the app or website to cut down waiting time. Thankfully our friends had called ahead, which I would definitely recommend. It did help expedite us being seated. Once seated the server was a bit distracted and took a while to get settled in to get us drinks & our orders taken, but things improved and once our food arrived (which was fairly quick) everything was very tasty! The steak was extremely undercooked, so, we asked for the steak to be cooked more. The manager brought the roadkill back and it was still undercooked, literal roadkill. Took a special person out for their birthday. Spent a $100 bucks on two undercooked steaks and soggy fried appetizer. I asked for the steaks to be heated up, but because my friend is taking a bite out of it, they could only put it on a warmer. They did not offer to remake the steaks. I Order takeout. I'm from out of town here on business and felt like eating a steak. I was busy with paperwork so I called in order to pick up. I specifically asked for steak sauce cause I can't eat my steak without sauce. When I went there to pick it up, it was a young man sitting on the Counter when I walked in, I asked him is everything there and he said everything's there, sir. Do I need to look in the bag before I leave to make sure everything's there plus the salad Caesar salad, that I ordered you only give me one little Dressing for it. Came to Texas Roadhouse in Ocala for my birthday. I was served by Alexa and could not have asked for a better sever. The place was packed and she not only was super attentive but went above and beyond for us. I had not been here before so she recommended her favorite dishes and the steak was DELICIOUS. Covid got the best of this place. We were told to stay in our car and wait 15-20 minutes, even though we checked in online to start our reservations. After waiting to get in, we are finally seated (50% capacity) only every other booth is seated. Once in our place, a nice waitress came to serve us and take our drink order. Once our order was in, it still was a ton of people working (at one point, I counted 8 servers just around us). Our food did not come out quicker, because it still takes the same amount of time to cook a steak. Anyhow, I usually like prime rib, but got a ribeye, and my wife a sirloin. Hers was to be medium and mine medium rare. Her 6oz sirloin came out medium well, and my 10oz ribeye, was almost medium. Well, I didn't want to send the steak back, BUT, my complaint was more that hers was 6oz and mine was 10oz. After cutting the fat off of mine, it was certainly less than 6oz. Hers was good. Mine was OK. BUT not worth the extra money mine cost (almost double). I will give them maybe one more shot, and after that, I will boycott the place of its this bad again. read more

Due to current social distancing guidelines pickup is only option at roadhouse for now. We placed our order online and opted for pickup in 45 minutes. We ordered 4 dinners, a steak, chicken sandwich and 2 cheeseburger dinners. When we arrived we were told to park until we're got a text message stating order was ready. There are 2 lines and quite a few cars in each line and a dozen in parked spaces. The text message came in about 15 minutes after our requested online time but that was actually pretty darn good considering the number of people picking up on a Friday evening. The staff were working there buts off and doing a great job. Our food came out hot and everything we requested as far as sides and condiments was well packed. When we got home we enjoyed our dinners very much and were quite impressed with how well the take out was organized. read more
