    Texas Roadhouse in Olathe KS

I really enjoy going here. My daughter and I love the KC Strip. And the cinnamon butter. We always have such a good time. Our server was fantastic, as always.

This TR is packed on a daily basis! Be prepared to wait. Good food, good service and overall a clean place. Nothing stood out overall as an issue. I appreciate my waitresses attentiveness and kindness!

It's about time I write a review, since I literally have been going to this location since 2019 and probably go twice a month ! I absolutely love this Texas Roadhouse location in Olathe, Kansas! It's right by AMC Theaters, making it the perfect spot for a pre-movie meal or just a great night out. The atmosphere here is always lively and welcoming, with the friendliest staff who make you feel right at home. My absolute favorite meal EVER is the 6oz sirloin steak, perfectly cooked every time, paired with a loaded baked potato that is simply to die for. And let's not forget about their house margaritas - they are the perfect complement to any meal and always hit the spot. The consistency in quality and service over the years is what keeps me coming back. Whether I'm dining in or grabbing a quick bite before a movie, Texas Roadhouse in Olathe never disappoints. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and craving a delicious, hearty meal!

This may be the quickest review I've done to date. Tried out the Texas Roadhouse in Olathe. First, the rolls came out and were fresh out of the oven. They were a perfect golden, brushed with butter, piping hot, and almost melted in my mouth. Emmi (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was an A+ server. She was very attentive, offered suggestions, and kept the water and rolls coming. My order was taken and came out shortly after. Everything was delightful, accurate, and hot. The salad was a side salad. Don't expect anything extravagant as it served its purpose. The chicken fried chicken and baked sweet potatoe complimented each other. The sweet and salty were needed to make the meal pop. I will definitely visit this location again when on that side of time. Hope that the meal is just as delicious !! This one was certainly worthy of 5 stars.

My family and I visited here for an early dinner. I joined the waitlist, and we were seated immediately upon arriving. Within an hour this location was packed so I'm glad we arrived early. Our server was very attentive on all the details of our order and provided great service. He checked in frequently and promptly brought whatever extras we requested. I opted for something new and went with the smothered chicken. Everything tasted great, but I feel like they added a ton of sautéed onions and lacked on mushrooms.

It's a lovely restaurant. It seems a bit out of the way with mostly corporate buildings around. The restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. I like the purple hyacinths hanging from the ceiling in one area. It was very steady for an off time in the afternoon. First, our server Olivia was amazing! Very attentive and we were extra needy this day so I really appreciate her patience. We even dropped food on the floor. Oops! She was so nice about it and cleaned it up immediately. We had customizations and extra requests. No problem for her! She went above and beyond. I hope she sees this because she was such a joy! The food was also very good. We started with the biscuits and one peach compote and one blueberry. Both were yummy. They were traditional drop biscuits and I love a good biscuit! We also had an order of fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits. You get 4 very large slices. I could only eat one. The grits were yummy but there were not enough of them in relation to the friend green tomatoes. They were also encased by a sauce. I'm guessing a remoulade. I don't really care for remoulade sauce so I'd have removed it had I known it came with the dish. It really overpowered the goat cheese taste in the grits. The tomatoes were very al dente and I would have preferred them cooked a bit more. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. We got coffees and a chai. All of them were very good. A bit pricey for the amount you get though. Even with the smaller complaints, I'd still give th a 5 because of the outstanding service and the dishes were overall very good and large portions. We will definitely return and I hope to try out a breakfast item next visit!

For my meal: The good were the tater tots! I got a decent amount and they were fresh and crispy. I ordered the beer burger medium and it was very close but a little bit on the medium well side on which was fine, but it was overcharred and had a burned flavor through part of it. I typically don't send food back in these types of establishments unless the food is cold, Inedible or missing key components. I've worked in these establishments in the past and sometimes you just know when not to send stuff back If you know what I mean. The bartender was very lackadaisical even though they weren't busy and really just took his sweet ol' time and never came back to ask how everything was or if I needed anything while I was eating. Right when I was about to leave he did ask if I wanted another beer, But that was a little too late. The price for this outing was less than $25 with tip so that's not bad. The restaurant itself didn't smell which is always a + and the bathrooms and dining area were clean

We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

The burger was perfect, but I've gotta say...for being a place called *Burg* and Barrel, their chicken strips are the best. They're juicy, the breading is fantastic, and they're always just really high quality. We came in while they were starting the trivia night deal, which I couldn't care less about, but if that's something you're a fan of...it's a thing here. Overall it was just another fantastic meal at the best burger/brew chain in the KC area.
