This location is the first time for us (professional travelers). Got in on a busy sat afternoon before 3. We didn't decide to do the early bird special today. Ft Worth rib eye... caught our eye..! Him with vegis and me with backed potato. Two salads also. The lettuce was fabulously crisp. It was beyond fresh !!! Yummy!! Great crunch. I had ceaser and him with 1000 reg salad. Since we don't go to work tomorrow we opted for two on the rocks Margaritas! Boy that hit the spot! We live the yeast bread in the beginning with cinnamon butter.. omg! Ordered carry out from this location today. Ordered the country fried steak with white gravy. Got home with my order and there was no gravy. I didn't want to eat a dry piece of meat with no gravy. Called the store asking for a refund on this item and was told I would have to bring the item back to the store for a replacement. So because of their incompetence I need to waste time and gas to go back when all I wanted was a refund for that one item. If I had gone back then the rest of my food would be ice cold by the time I returned. They claim to have "legendary service". This was far from legendary!!! Last time I got carry out here they gave me a sweet potato when I had ordered a regular potato. They offered a $5 credit which I found to be acceptable. This Texas Roadhouse ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will give them one thing, they definitely stick together as a team. I should've known it was gonna be bad when I was called to be seated then waited an additional 15 mins. Ok let's begin, 1. Our bread was burnt, 2. I had to go get my own booster seat. 3. I had to go get my own bread. 4. Waters stayed empty. 5. My daughter NEVER got her meal until we decided to get it all to-go. 6. I didn't receive my Tater skins until the end of the meal. 7. We never got our side of lemon butter for 2 Salmon meals. All this being said, when requesting a manager, we were met with "okay, I will take off your daughters meal". This misses the mark because we were piece mealed our selections and never got our toppings for our Salmon dishes. This food is not that good to have my money in this economy. This is the Dixie Location that is close to my work. I absolutely love this place. It is awesome from every standpoint. The food is great, the music is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is great. I love Texas Roadhouse all around. I always get the sirloin and it is always amazing. I would highly recommend. I like the country feel to it with the atmosphere of the music Staffing at Texas Vibe obviously it's called Texas Roadhouse but they really go all out with it and I really enjoy that the peanuts great addition don't want to floor don't mean a bucket do whatever you want with them it's great I love this place steaks are always cooked great service is always excellent I highly recommend going here I would go here every day if I can forward it to be honest so good stuff read more

UPDATE_ 3/24/19 Where do we start...this is like the second time that our experience has been less than satisfactory. Well the second time in a ROW! My wife orders the steak kabobs, they came out and the steak was cold, when asked what we wanted to do he asked "do you want me to put it back on the grill??? Like WTF kind of question is that? No, I want you to cook her some more! This took at least what seemed like 20 minutes, not to mention they completely forgot about her broccoli. Then the manager (Jacob) came out and he attempted to make it right but at this point I'm beyond aggravated with this location to the point that we may honestly never return. I'd understand if we had a big party but it was literally 6 adults and one kid. We ordered simple meals. As my friend who was with us stated, they did not make us wanna spend anymore money on drinks. So again to say the least I'm not happy AT ALL!!! Lastly after my wife got her food AFTER everyone else had eaten they took off $3??? Definitely an underrated chain steakhouse. They bring the rolls, which are heavenly, to your table right as you're seated so you don't even have to wait. I got a steak, with two sides (hige sweet potato and house salad), all for just $9.49 by going before 3pm. Service was quick and all food was wonderful. read more

They seem to be struggling with technology. You can pull into a spot and text a number for you to get your food. Someone's the texting works and others it doesn't. You get no message back that your message was received. Today, I guess it worked but they were extremely slow. I ended up getting out of the car and walking up to the window to get my food. I get in the line and wait for a while before the person at the window decided to open it. There was 1 person in front of me. When he finally opens the window to talk to the man in front of me, he send him to the car and closes it again and never says anything to us in line. The ladies delivering the food finally yelled to the line asking for people that have already paid and they would get the order. Then the guy decides to open up the window and say "if you have already text, we received it". He could've said that a long time ago. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced at TXR. They did get all the food right and it was absolutely delicious. My advice- don't do curbside. Went to TX Roadhouse in Shively tonight for dinner. The place is always packed. Last couple or three times we've been, it was mediocre at best. Current bartender always seems very disengaged, unless you're a regular. I realize we aren't the only people in the place. We sat down, and were basically hit with a barrage of questions. We ordered our drinks and appetizer, which barely got placed in front of us, and get hit with "are you ready to order"? A couple next to us asked for rolls and never got them. We ordered our food (Catfish with fries and green beans), and it was ok (could have been warmer). $8.25 for a 22oz beer? Didn't realize we were at Slugger Field. Best thing about the whole experience was the $5 LITs. Needless to say, we're thankful we had a gift card, or I would have said we wasted our money. Won't be back. read more

My FIL picked Texas Roadhouse for his 75th birthday celebration. I jumped online to put us on the waitlist but it told me to call the store to setup because our party was 7. I called at 4:04pm and was on hold for 38 minutes. I explained to Jada that we would be coming in with a party of 7 at 6:30. She was very friendly and helpful. I received a confirmation at 446pm. We arrived at 625pm and were told that they didn't have us in the system so we could either wait an hour or we would have to share a small 6 top table. We tried but it just wasn't big enough. I again showed the hostess, Breanna, my confirmation and asked if she could find out what happened. I was met with a defensive attitude and that she didn't know, we weren't in the system. The manager, Jeremy, came to assist. But the hostess wouldn't stop talking so the manager asked me to move to the side out of her earshot. Instead of helping he simply said they only have 2 tables that would accommodate us and that it would be an hour or longer since those parties had been sat minutes before us. I spotted an empty table at the end that looked big enough for 7 and asked if he could add a leaf to the table so we could sit there. He seemed mad but agreed. He told us he wouldn't set up the table until the half of our party, that was in the, small booth went to the waiting area. He explained it was so he could seat another table but no one was waiting. I asked if they could just sit there for our inconvenience until he got the table, 3 booths away, set up. He had an attitude and said he wouldn't set up the table until they moved. So I asked for another manager and Jeremy disappeared. About 15 minutes later I was approached by Aspin who was so friendly and helpful. She had the table set up, apologized and asked if I'd like to let the managing partner know about my experience. Of course I said yes. She also told me that the hostess sat the last 8 top table under my confirmation and that is why we werent in the system. As I'm dealing with all of this and waiting on the managing partner, the hostess looks at me and says I don't like your attitude. I was amazed! I asked her to please wait for the managing partner and she could tell me in front of him. Which she did. No apology for her attitude. Todd was very friendly and helpful. He apologized, offered appetizers for our table and told me that Aspin would be available if we had any other problems since Jeremy and I weren't working well together. At this point we were happy customers again. We ordered drinks all but 2 arrived (2 large Octoberfest beer). The server, Donna, told us they had to switch the tap and it would be out soon. 30 minutes later they tell us they can't find a manager to change it but it'll be out soon. About 15 minutes later they inform us the October fest is empty. The two people order waters. We then waited over an hour for our food. 2 people didn't order out of fear of their food being spit on. I tried for over an hour to get Aspin but she was helping with takeout. Jeremy came over and said he would discount our table. He gave us a hero discount, which as I understand we were already entitled to because we had 2 veterans at the table. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for ruining a veterans 75th birthday celebration. A kind man who fought for our country and continues to give. He will be heading to Ashville North Carolina with the Red Cross in a few weeks to help out. Host Kennedy had a really bad attitude when all I did was ask for butter. Service was good but the attitude from workers was unnecessary

From the moment I walked in everyone was very welcoming. My server Briaunna was amazing and very attentive. My overall experience was great I would definitely come back. My husband and I ate here and we won't be back. The pros- our server was nice and attentive. The food was good and not overpriced. The cons- we waited a couple of minutes for any hostess to appear, then three of them came back together at the same time and the one who led us to our table looked like she hated her job. The biggest reason we will not be back though, is the flies. We sat next to a window and were shooing them away the whole time. There were at least a half a dozen flies determined to stick around that window and it was gross. They kept trying to land on our food. It made me wonder how bad the flies were behind the scenes. My steak is always cooked right and unlike other establishments up and down wide, wide Dixie Highway they don't leave you with the general impression that they're slaughtering the cow RIGHT THEN or more likely: running to Kroger to buy your steak. My Coke Zero was always, always full. I have never been happier. Okay, the mimosa sprite at Louvino was pretty awesome, too, but Sheilla doesn't need you needing an Uber. That's all I want in life. The food here is usually good. They're always crowded, which can be a good and bad thing. A large crowd usually indicates good food and service, but when it's too crowded, sometimes the food and service suffers. The only issue I have had here, is the way they handle wait times. They encourage the "call ahead option, " but they don't honor it. This has happened three times including tonight. I travel from Southern Indiana to the Shively location to get a shorter wait time, more flavorful steaks and great service. They seem to be seasoning and marinating the steaks properly and the cooks know what they're doing; they're juicy and cooked to order (medium) with some blackening on the outside.
