I hadn't been here in years since covid for sure and my friend and I were looking for somewhere for a late lunch to go to with my 18 month old daughter. We put our names in ahead online and didn't have to wait at all, we got a text that the table was ready as we pulled in the parking lot. We were seated right away and got a basket of the delicious rolls. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and my friend got a diet coke which both came quickly and the server brought refills without us asking. We started with the "blooming onion" which was huge and delicious. The server was considerate and put it out of my toddler's reach. This used to be a great place for takeout. Recently, we had given take out a few tries only to be dissatisfied. The food was very salty, mashed potatoes with the gravy. The chicken stake was salty as well as too much black pepper. The burger was overcooked, and they forgot to include all the sides. This has happened more than twice. We did call ahead seating on NYE about 8pm and didn't have to wait! I got an upgraded hurricane margarita for $6. Good but very sweet. We had an offer for a free appetizer and we choose potato skins. 8 were served on the plate. We took 4 home. Warm rolls and their signature cinnamon butter and peanuts come on the table and are complimentary. My husband got two beers, a 16oz steak (rice and corn), I got chicken critters dinner with salad and mashed potatoes. The dinner salad came with hard boiled egg which was a nice surprise. I took my daughter here for her 21st birthday. There were THREE of us. We were there for an HOUR waiting for our food. When it finally came, My daughter's steak was UNDER COOKED, Mine and my daughter's friend's chicken critters were UNDER cooked as well. We brought it to the manager's attention. She didn't charge for the food, just our drinks. We also ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich for my son to go. AFTER 30 minutes, the cooks hadn't even started the to go order. I paid for our drinks, the manager said she was issuing a refund of what I paid for. It's been over a month and I'm STILL WAITING FOR SAID REFUND!!!! I put myself on the wait list an hour and 40 minutes before I arrived. When I arrived and checked in I was told there would be another 20 minutes. 40 minutes later we were seated. My granddaughter ordered the chicken fingers or whatever they're called and unfortunately my ribs were dried out and very crusty and inedible as were my daughter's chicken fingers. I have to say the cup of chili I had as a side was actually good. Very good. However, $70 for a meal that I waited for a total of 2 hours to be seated was really not a good value. Finally made it to Texas Roadhouse for the first time in my life. We did the call ahead list which worked out pretty nicely. We were seated by a energetic host in a nice area. We were immediately greeted by our waiter who explained how most things are made fresh to order and handmade. That was a surprise to me since this is kind of a chain. I ordered the basic Margarita which was huge and good and loaded with lots of salt on the rim. My partner ordered the Long Island iced tea and enjoyed that. We were served two baskets of bread, with extra butter the second time since the waiter was observant and noticed that we enjoyed the butter a lot. That was nice. Great service from Anthony. I ordered the chicken critters and rib combo with a side of fries. I was able to get three different dips for no extra charge, I think I liked the barbecue and honey mustard the most. The waiter asked if I liked everything since it was my first time, I let him know that I didn't really like the french fries and he offered something else and I ordered the loaded baked potato per his recommendation which was really good. I had also ordered the chili as a side and asked for it to be packed up right away and that was packed up very nicely with cheese and onions packed separately. My partner ordered the steak and ribs combo with salad that was served first and mashed potatoes and gravy. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy and had a bite of his steak which was also good. I ate way too much! We probably took home at least four additional meals between the two of us. I liked the food, but I've had better barbecue at smaller local establishments. Delicious food served by a very friendly and hard working waiter. We had Sal who was waitering for his first day. It was quite busy but he managed to provided us the best services. I wasn't really craving for steak when we came in so I wanted something light. I order the 8 oz sirloin with shrimps on the side and with a choice of 2 sides. I normally like my steak medium well. I think it wasn't bad but a little dry compare to my boyfriend's 12oz New York Strip which was also cooked medium well. After almost finishing the whole meal it felt a bit salty but overall it was very good. Possibly the peanuts on the side added some saltiness. We were looking for a quick place to eat for dinner, as it was getting late on a Saturday night, and my husband and I were both losing the motivation to leave the house. We arrived and to our surprise we were seated right away! Where a basket of yeast rolls and cinnamon butter we're waiting for us. You know what happened next..... server added gift card to our already $70 meal therefore expecting a tip on $120 instead of $70. Now when I give the gift card away there is no separate receipt. As mentioned previously good food hit or miss services. As a warning to all servers (salespeople) stop trying to upsell and padding the bill. You do your job 20% tip. I have to start the review by saying I was remiss in my initial thoughts that this wouldn't be my first choice for take out. I tend to order from local restaurants rather than chains. We invited our son to join us for take out dinner and let him choose where to order from. He instantly chose Texas Roadhouse and knew exactly what he wanted. I went to their website and found it to be very easy to navigate. It allows for choosing items and the sides that go with each item as well as indicating who the ordered item is for. This helps when ordering several items. My wife chose a fillet and shrimp combo and a baked potato and side salad for her sides. My son chose the steak kabob with rice and a loaded baked potato for his sides. I chose a fillet with a baked sweet potato and Caesar salad for my sides. We added a cactus blossom and potato skins as appetizers. When ordering on line you choose a pickup time. Once the order is placed you get an email acknowledging along with a text message providing instructions for picking up your order. I arrived early and waited a distance away in the lot. There were two rows allotted for pickup that spanned across the front of the restaurant. The majority of the spaces in these rows were full of waiting vehicles. While this sounds like one may have to wait long for their order, the contrary was seen. There were several employees "running" in and out delivering orders. Cars came and went not sitting for more than a few minutes. When my time arrived I pulled into a parking space and followed the directions of replying "HERE" to the text they had sent me. One of the employees who had brought out another persons order took my name, went back inside and returned with my food a few minutes later. I assume the text reply told them to package up my order. The employee placed my order in my back seat and I was on my way with minimal contact. Upon arriving home I was quite impressed at how our order had been packaged. To keep items like the loaded baked potato and the baked sweet potato from getting soggy, all the items that would be placed on them were packaged separately in small containers. The cinnamon honey butter for the rolls was in small containers and enough supplies to insure we didn't run out. Everything was perfect and as ordered. The two fillets were cooked exactly as ordered. They obviously know how to package their orders to go in order to preserve the item in a way so it remains as close to in restaurant dining as possible. All of our food was delicious. I really liked that they were generous with the rolls and enjoyed them the next day too. I would definitely order from here again and highly recommend others try them too. They have stepped up to the challenge of providing take out food that remains as good as if consumed dining in. read more

Caesar salad had plenty of dressing, which for me was perfect as I like my lettuce to be thoroughly coated, but I can see how many people might find it to be too much. I like Buffalo Roadhouse's rolls slightly better as they're a little lighter and fluffier, but Texas Roadhouse's butter has cinnamon in it so it's an overall tie on the rolls. My friend I was with got the Onion Bloom which was huge, again he asked for Ranch due to not liking the Cactus Dip. For the main meal, I ordered the 8oz Filet, rare, which was perfectly cooked. It cut like butter and was served cold - just how I like it. It came with two sides, I opted for the sweet potato, loaded with honey, butter and marshmallows, and a caesar salad. The salad was good, enough dressing, could tell it was tossed, light on the parmesan cheese. I also ordered two sides of grilled shrimp which came with melted seasoned butter. I had my left overs a couple hours later, and it was a delicious. My friend ordered the Sirloin, medium rare. Some parts of his steak looked rare and some were medium rare. He didn't mind so we didn't mention it to staff. His steak also came with two side options, and he opted for double mashed potatoes which came with gravy on top. We recently called to order three meals from the Texas Roadhouse in Tonawanda and was pleasantly surprised to find not only social distanceing being employed with their outside pickup, but the three ingredients necessary for return business. I am referring to customer service, quality food and good price. The orderly procession of cars picking up pre ordered food seemed like a testimonial of the service provided by the Texas Roadhouse. As we were given our large bag of prepared dinners we checked and all was as ordered. We spoke to a masked manager named Cliff and told him how pleased we were with the service and the food. He was happy with our comment but seemed intent on providing a safe dining experience for customers and a safe environment for his staff. We will be returning often. read more

I ordered the chicken critters (as did my son), and my husband ordered the grilled jack sandwich. Mine was delicious, and he enjoyed his sandwich as well. The steak fries were well seasoned, and I ordered a loaded baked potato. They placed all the toppings in cups on the side, so everything was fresh once we got the food home. They also included a whole container of their delicious yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. The only criticism I have is that you are unable to claim gift cards online when ordering, and they can't take them over the phone. February 4, 2020 We decided to use our Christmas gift cards for dinner ($75.00). Seating was very quick. The staff were professional and friendly. I ordered a new york strip steak, bowl of chili and mushrooms. Husband: full rack of ribs. Son#1: 1/2 rack of ribs, Son#2: Classic Hamburger well done. My steak came out just as I ordered medium rare. I used their house steak but it was,watery and the taste didn't compliment my steak. I didn't know they had A1 until another customer requested it.
