My wife and a friend of ours decided to try this place out for dinner. It has a very nice cozy atmosphere with friendly service, clean environment, and modern decor. Even the chairs were real comfortable. We started our dinner with the curry puffs which were nice and crispy pastries filled with curried potatoes, minced chicken and onions. We definitely recommend this for appetizer... extremely delicious. For our meals we got the peanut curry with chicken, the sweet and sour chicken, and the pineapple fried rice with chicken. The peanut curry and sweet and sour come out in their own bowls with rice on the side all on a plate. This was great because than the sauce isn't all over the rice. The Peanut Curry with chicken has a little kick to it. Massamun curry with chicken, onions, potatoes, carrots, and peanuts in coconut milk. If you like something with a little spice to it... this is a great dish. The sweet and sour chicken does had a nice sweet and tangy taste to it. A great dish for you if you don't like a spicy dish but want something a little sweet. Chicken stir fried with cucumbers, tomatoes, pineapples, bell peppers, and onions in their homemade sweet and sour sauce. The pineapple fried rice with chicken has a great blended taste of seasoning. This dish is perfect if your not in the mood for spicy or a dish with sauce. Jasmine rice stir fried with chicken, pineapples, carrots, onions, green peas, golden raisins and roasted peanuts. Everyone one of these dishes were excellent with 3 totally different taste. You have a choice of chicken, beef, shrimp or soy chicken for most of the dishes. I am traveling on business and ordered from the eat 24 app. I never know what to expect but always hope for the best. Based on 3.5 star review I knew it would be at least ok. My food was delivered early, hot, exactly how I ordered it, and most importantly, delicious. I got edamame and the red curry with duck. I have a favorite Thai place where I live and this was just as good. With free delivery I'd say this was more than a bargain and I'm one happy, full business traveler. Thank you!! read more

This seems like a big hit with the lunch rush, but could it just be a matter of convenience for the medical center crowd? I had their Basil Fish special, consisting of veggies and something akin to cod but very little in the way of basil, and Salad Rolls, which were way to heavy on the lettuce. They both fell short, so maybe if you were expecting less you would be happy, but I can't imagine you would. Thai to go is not the place to count on for take out or delivery. I put in an order at noon online. Got no email confirmation so tried for a while to call. Finally got through on the phone at 12:25 at which point they said the wait time for an order is 45 minutes. Not from the time that I placed the order but from the time that they actually noticed my order on the computer which was only noticed because I called. Which unfortunately can't handle any phone load. So... the food wouldn't be ready until 1:10? Maybe? I'm letting the delivery and ordering service of this place effect the stars this much because this place is called Thai 2 Go. I mean you had one job. read more

When your boss asks you to go out for a lunch meeting, you don't say "It depends on where we are going" although this is always the first thing that comes to mind for me. You see, I am kinda a health nut sometimes and I greatly value my caloric intake, so when I DO decide to throw caution to the wind and splurge a bit, it had better be good food. Either way, I had little control over where we went, so I had to take it in the gut no matter what happened. So when Jimmy John's was suggested, a little part of me died inside. We drove to JJ's and noticed the new Thai place that had just opened up next door. So when the idea to venture over there was put out, I jumped right on it. Yeah! No cardboard sandwiches today! Still thinking I would stick with my health kick, I scanned through the adequate, but not overwhelming menu. The salad seemed to meet my health criteria best so I chose one that sounded interesting-the Papaya Salad. I also got a side of brown rice just to make me feel even better about myself. I was actually really surprised how great the salad was. The flavors exploded in my mouth with a delicate and simple elegance. The salad consisted of shredded green papaya, shredded carrots, chili, roasted peppers, string beans and a chopped toasted peanuts. It was topped with shrimp even though the menu did not say anything about it (Was I charged for that? I don't know, I didn't pay). All this was on a bed of a few whole lettuce leaves and drizzled in a light citrus-lime dressing. The crunch of the papaya added a welcome change to traditional mixed salads and the citrus was perfectly balanced with the nice heat of the chili. It really was solid salad, and I am not even a salad person. It was light, fresh and only cost $7, a great deal in my opinion. As a side note, the brown rice was also really tasty, and not just the regular brown rice that you might get at a Chinese joint or something. I have had this slightly violet colored rice when I lived in Asia and I love it. I wish I could speak for all the other dishes, but mine was delightful. I really hope this place can usurp some of the delivery power that Jimmy Johns has over my school. It is a much better option for anyone who values their taste buds. read more

We ordered from this spot today at work. I'm not a huge fan of Thai food and this place was ok, nothing special. I ordered the sweet noodles with chicken and an order of spring rolls on the side. I found the noodles to be kind of gummy and as I was finishing my food, I was happy that I was finished eating it. It did leave me satisfied but not quite sure if I possibly ordered the wrong entree or what. I'm not completely sold on this place. The delivery time is pretty good though. It took 30 minutes to get our food delivered during the lunch rush. Again, I'm not sold on this place, so I can't recommend to future patrons. Peace! read more

I've had one too many bad experiences here. I got food poisoning once and then another time I found some plastic in my food. But it's just so easy to pick up or have delivered that I did give them multiple second chances. Most of the time it's fine. After I the illness and the plastic though, I've sworn it off. read more

Man, this place has really gone downhill. I used to order from here all the time, but the past few times have been a bad experience. The girl always sitting at the front has the worst attitude and hardly greets you. On one occasion I ordered some food for pickup and they told me it would be about 30-45 minutes; however, since I called on the way home I got to the restaurant 10 mins after calling and they had my food ready 5 mins later. This most recent time, I walked in and sat down (everyone at the front saw me), yet nobody greeted me or came to give me a menu so I just walked out. Tried this place for the first time today. Had the Pepper Steak. Taste was very good, however, it was more like soup, lot of liquid and vegetables with steamed rice, small pieces of steak. The waiter never ever smiled, even when you said thank you to her. But all in all, it was okay. I probaly want return no time soon, but i will to try something different. For a quick thai fix near UTSW, this place definitely does the trick. While not overly authentic, the ingredients are fresh and the portions are filling. I've mostly stuck to their noodle selections (the spicy basil is actually quite spicy...) and occasional appetizer (fresh spring rolls), but they have a good selection of curries and rices. Order in advance if you want quick take out -- if you say you want to dine-in, it seems they won't prepare your food as fast as if you were to get it to-go. read more

The food at this restaurant is delicious, and I've never had anything here I didn't like. The restaurant itself is very clean and new. I love their Thai bubble tea! However I am giving it 3 stars because, when ordering takeout, there's a 50% chance the guy taking your order will mess it up somehow. Also, beware of the spiciness level. While the food is good at best, the customer service is absolutely horrid. Me and co-workers regularly order take out from this joint, but a mistake we'll never make again is trying to eat there. We noticed a table getting their order taken by a waitress at their table, so we grabbed some menus and sat down. Apparently you order at the counter but for more than 10 minutes no one said a word to us. They looked in our direction, even bussed tables right by us, but never said a word. I guess we looked like idiots sitting at a table when your supposed to order at the counter, but I don't think it would have killed anybody to just clarify that nicely. To ask for a smile or a courteous "hello" would have been way too much from the ladies taking orders at the counter.Bottled drinks and limited selection a minus as well. I think I'll stick to Thai Lotus on Cedar Springs, great genuine Thai, and a smiling face every now and then. read more

Well I can't speak for the dine-in experience, but I don't think I'll order delivery from them again. I ordered two entrees and an appetizer at 7 pm on a Sunday. I was quoted an hour's wait for food. At 8:50 pm I called because I still had no food. The lady on the phone said she would call the driver, and then call me back. Now 9:08, I call back again because she hasn't called me and I get voicemail(they close at 9.) Ten minutes later, 2 1/2 hours after I ordered food, it arrives. 25$ for corn fritters that tasted like frozen fish sticks, and two cold entrees. If it had been on time and at the right temperature.... I'd give it 3 stars. read more

I travel to Dallas about once every month with work and have *attempted* to get takeout here twice. The first time was a couple of months ago. I ordered the Tom Ka Noodles with shrimp. Went to pick my food up, and only realized after returning to my hotel that I had been given only the Tom Ka soup instead. "Ok," I thought, "that's an easy enough mistake to make". The soup was quite tasty although not as filling as (I assume) my anticipated entree would have been. Flash forward to this evening. I called the restaurant to place my order and was very curtly put on hold for 8 minutes. I decided to hang up and call back, knowing it was prime dinner time and thought maybe they had simply forgotten I was on the line. I was immediately put on hold again. I waited, waited for 10 more minutes, at which point the line went dead. I was hung up on. Instead of calling back a 3rd time or heading to the restaurant to place my order and wait some more, I decided to take my business elsewhere. For a restaurant that literally has "2go" in the name, I would expect MUCH better ordering service. read more

The food here isn't that great - pretty lacking in the flavor department, and nothing tastes fresh. The prices are not worth it for what you are getting. It's about $9 for a fast food/Chinese take-out version of pad see ew, when you can get good, restaurant-quality pad see ew for the same price at many places. I would consider the crab fried rice to be the best dish I've tried here, but unfortunately, it's also one of the more expensive dishes ($12). This place has gone downhill. I used to like them a lot but they have messed up our order multiple times now. Last time, they put meat in our tofu dish that we specifically requested to be vegetarian (I even ordered it over the phone). They also forgot our appetizer and I didn't realize until I got home. This time, I ordered the peanut curry and there weren't even any peanuts in it. We also had asked to substitute fried rice for our entrees and when I picked them up and checked, it was regular jasmine rice. I went back into the restaurant and stood there for a while waiting while one staff member was on the phone and the other was just sitting in the corner on his phone. He had seen me walk in but didn't come over to assist me until the other staff member on the phone walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder and pointed for him to go talk to me. I told him we were supposed to have fried rice and not regular jasmine rice and he told me they don't make fried rice, which is not true! It's on their menu and also I have gotten it before with our meal. I used to like them but now because of our multiple bad experiences, we will be taking our business elsewhere. Will never waste my money or time on this place again when there are so many other great Thai restaurants in the area. read more

For some reason this place stayed on my mind over the weekend, so when I didn't get anything going for lunch yesterday I decided to try something else here...and once again, I'm glad I did! I had the Pad Kee Mow, 4 star spicy, and it was greatness! I believe it was even better than my Pad Thai the other day. There was a definite difference between 3 and 4 star spiciness, and that is a good thing! And as a bonus, the antiseptic smell I mentioned from my first visit was no longer there...so this second experience firmly reinforced my 4 star rating from last week. Give 'em a try! read more

I have tried them twice. I had the basil stir fried rice and the sweet chili stir fried rice. Both times, I really liked my choices and the serving size is very decent. Let the "2 Go" guide your decision making process as you choose your dinner tonight. I eat here more than probably any other restaurant (and also more than I or anyone should). On the other hand, it is NOT one of the better Thai food places in Dallas. Now you may be asking, "Now Ryan, why do you consistently eat at a Thai restaurant you don't even LIKE that much?" The thing is, if it's close to you and you're feeling in the mood, it's close, quick, relatively cheap, and honestly plenty good to eat. It's great for delivery or pick up, but there's also a small clean area to dine in as well if you wanna take a load off and get your Pad on. The staff are also very friendly and accomodating, so yes all in all, although it won't be where you go for the "best Thai in town", it can very easily meet your needs. read more

This place use to really take care of their customers but here lately it seems like they don't care about loosing business. The cook is not familiar with their own menu, they always add EGG to the F3 when it's not listed on the menu and they want to argue and say "well u didn't request with no egg". I called to speak to the manager because this has happen more than twice but the response was the manager is to busy to come to the phone.
