Solid fast food Thai. My roommate and I live in the neighborhood and have introduced a number of friends to this place. We always enjoy a nice pad Thai or the green curry chicken. Order was extremely late (ordered at 11:05, and received at 12:26). When it finally got here part of the order was missing and the wrong drink was delivered. I called up to the restaurant and the lady that answered was very rude! We are a fairly big department, at the University down the street, and sometime order frequently, but will no longer be doing so because of her. After eating here, my friend and I thought: Time 2 Go eat somewhere else. The portions were TINY and overpriced. Even with a $10 off coupon, we felt ripped off. We ordered the tamarind chicken and the garlic chicken. The few chunks of chicken in the tamarind chicken tasted like generic kung-pao. Sauce was good tho. The garlic chicken flavor was so-so, but again only maybe 6 small pieces of chicken. Broccoli in that dish was steamed nicely. Nice place for a quick great tasting lunch. I've had the basil duck numerous times. I always get my fill for 13 bucks. The veggies mix well with the duck and it brings a decent amount of heat ( although I prefer a little more fire). I love thai food and for convenice factor this place is pretty good. They have slightly large portions so when I go I usally split a meal and appetizer. My favorite are the salad rolls because the peanut sauce is delicious. I also like the pad thai and it's not spicy at all. Quick tip call in before for fast service. The only con I have is about their delivery, I wanted them for lunch and my work is not that far from them. I called 6 times to get a busy signal. Then when I finally got a hold of them they said they won't deliver until after a certain time. I'm thinking they probably need more delivery drivers for the lunch hour. Cheap but yummy thai food. Not the best in Dallas, but not bad either if it's right by your workplace and you're dying for some thai food. The portions are pretty generous, and for those who like boba in their tea (personally I think it feels a bit like I am eating brains - blech), they offer that. I went with a group of four for lunch one day and the food took a long time to come out, and it did not all come out together, but we were just chatting and didn't really care. Tonight was a bad experience...I brought it to the young girls attention and her only response was "Oh" and grinned while she walked away. I understand things happen...but not suggesting to fix the issue made me lose my appetite after I had just spent 27 dollars on 2 appetizers and an entree. Maybe it's what I ordered but I'm not a fan. Cashier was very nice though so he gets some credit. Got the roti with curry - way to salty! I could not / did not want to finish. The pancake was pretty good though, it was better by itself. Translucent so you know it's greasy. Also got basil fish (he said it's tilapia) - was $14. Def need to eat with rice or something, it was just unimpressive, salty, a little watery. But because I live nearby I'll probably try some other dishes just to see. read more

There are a lot of options if you want Thai food in Oak Lawn, but I have found that Thai2Go has consistently good food and fast delivery. It has become my go-to when ordering Thai. I've been into the restaurant before but it's pretty small so I wouldn't recommend it for groups. It is clearly meant to be a delivery joint. I order online using the Eat24 app and my food is reliably at my door in about 20 minutes. (Shout out to the delivery guy.) I also like how the menu has several options on it that I haven't seen at other local Thai restaurants. I think my favorite dish is the green curry fried rice, but I like so many of them that it's hard to choose. I've tried something new on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Nice place. Looks clean and new. Staff seemed friendly. Food was okay - not as good as other Thai food I have had. I ordered beef salad expecting larb, and that might have been an error on my part. The greens seemed fresh, but it had an odd smell. We also got the kha soi, which was better and good but not great. So it turns out that Grub Hub was to blame for the problem, which doesn't surprise me since 8 out of 10 times they screw something up. I'm done with them. I'm upgrading my rating for the restaurant because the late delivery was not their fault and the food was good. However, I do not recommend using Grub Hub for any delivery. They suck! I also recommend that Thai2go sever ties with Grub Hub. They're making you look bad. Most people will not take the time, as I did, to get to the bottom of things. This is a wonderful place! You could tell that the ingredients they use are as fresh as you can get. The staff was very accomodating and they really seem to enjoy working there, which can say A LOT about the restaurant. Their portion sizes are pretty generous. Been coming here for years and food is great but there this asian girl who is absolutely rude. I experience her attitude a couple of times but I thought it was maybe a bad day for her or something but after a few more times , today was my last time buying there. She is just plain rude and with a bad attitude towards the customers. I don't know if she is the owner or the daughter of the owner or worst just simple works there but I don't think she undeRstands the importance to be nice and educated to customers. It is such a shame because I really like the food there but I am not going to leave my money where every time I found a rude attitude.
