A few of my co-workers at the hospital have fell ill eating at this place. I've had it twice and have never been sick from eating it, but I can tell you that it's not the best Thai in DFW. Last time I ordered from the was via the app "Door Dash" (love that app!) and the food was not good! I ordered the Panang Curry Beef and when it arrived there was barely any beef in the dish...just tiny thin shreds of meat with mostly bell peppers and a minimal amount of sauce. The chef here used to be excellent and the food was great but somewhere within the past few months a chef change occurred and they use to much pepper. Let me start by saying there can be nothing bad coming out of this kitchen. I have had several of the menu items and each one is just as delicious as the next. The prices are very reasonable as well for the quality and flavor of the dishes. Their "to go" items are packaged in reusable plastic bowls with lids that actually seal to hold in the freshness. Even the way their food is served tells you it's a cut above--no Styrofoam or waxy cardboard here. These are the items I've tried so far: Spring Rolls - So light and tasty with a hint of basil; and the homemade sweet and sour sauce is a real treat. I'm almost positive it's made with coconut milk. As they say, "The secret's in the sauce." Chicken Basil Stir Fry - Ground white meat chicken in a mildly spicy garlic sauce and plenty of fragrant basil. Chicken Ginger Stir Fry - Can there be anything better than fresh, cooked ginger? This is one of my favorites. If you're a fan of ginger, you'll love this one. Sweet Noodles (Pad See Ew) - I had mine with chicken and it was fantastic. Again, there's something in the homemade sauce that really puts it over the top--plenty of fresh, crispy vegetables, too. I plan on trying everything on the menu at some point. It may take me a while, but I think I'm up for the task. Thai2Go is definitely worth the trip. read more

The best Thai that I have a had in years. They have a lot of northern Thai cuisine that most places don't offer. The food is very clean tasting, you can tell the ingredients are fresh, quality, and don't need a lot of "doctoring up" flavoring or sauces. I called for a pickup and this place was very timely when I arrived and the food was ready. They did mess up my order so I had to wait for them to correct it but they were very nice and willing to do so which was a relief. Food/taste-wise, it was alright. I've definitely had better thai food. I felt like the Pad Thai was a little fishy for some reason and the Pad See Ew I got lacked flavor, it was just bland. LOVE Thai 2 Go! Food is always fresh and so delicious. Its not authentic thai but we are in Texas so it is Americanized - but you won't catch me complaining. If you're ordering lunch from the Medical District, it will generally take about an hour for delivery, but that just assures you that your meal was made to order. Level 1-5 for spicy levels can be requested for your meal but most who like it super hot can't stand anything more than a Level 2 Spicy. Be sure to ASK for a numeric amount of soy, chili paste sauces, they will NOT volunteer or offer you any. That is my only complaint - back in the day, multiple packages were thrown into your Asian food take out, now they wont give you any. Other than that, anything on the menu is a sure fire choice, just depends on your taste preference. read more

I am a big fan of Thai food, and I never have had Thai food this bad!!! We had this food delivered. I had the Red Curry and Tom Kha and there was no flavor, none of the complex spices that Thai food is known for. I'm not a real picky person as far as food and pretty easy to please but this was so bad I couldn't help but write this review. The Tom Kha was mostly heavily watered down coconut milk, with a little bit of chicken and some parsley and THAT WAS IT!! The curry was basically jut some red and green peppers, some chicken and a very small amount of flavorless sauce. At least my order was correct, but the two people I was eating with, their order was all messed up!! My advice- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! read more

A decent crowd and the delivery guy dashing in and out seemed promising. I judged too quickly. Not a huge fan of counter ordering, especially from paper menu's. Was given a verbal order # to pick up my food, but I tipped, so I guess that's why they brought it out ESSENTAILLY ALL AT ONCE! I hate that. So, shrimp wrap appetizers didn't seem marinated as promised and were over-wrapped. Shrimp were hard and the whole deal was just tough to eat . Sauce for shrimp was super-fire hot. Corn patties were ok, but looked machine made. Super crispy with Panko like every other crisp thing in town these days. Tom Kha smelled overpoweringly of coconut. I love coconut but even I I was afraid it would be too rich. Nope. Super lemony and not served with rice even. Couldn't taste the coconut. Maybe the shrimp dipping sauce burned off my taste buds. Worst part is that it's clear the chicken was pre-cooked and reheated. Sliced very thin and still very tough and chewy. Companion's beef salad was gritty (counter girl says it was baked, then ground rice mixed in), I was not asked how hot I'd like anything, especially my entree of red curry. Fire level hot again and, funny, there's no smell of jasmine to the rice ( finally 1 scoop) at all. It's just white rice. Plain white rice. Overcooked chicken and a kajillion bell peppers in an otherwise decent albeit hot curry.. I guess maybe it's the best in the area, so maybe that's the reason to go or get delivery. This place is the best! I went here on Easter Sunday. The only Thai place open near my hotel (visiting). I had my doubts because it was small and tucked away in a towncenter style group of buildings. The service is relatively fast. The inside is clean and inviting. They deliver and most of all the food is DELICIOUS; cooked just right and very authentic. Trust the portions they give you and you will not disappointed - not too much - but just right. My favorites are Pad Woon Sen (Bean Thread Noodles) with Shrimp, Red Wine Wings, Mango and Sticky Rice for dessert, and a Thai Ice Tea with Pearls to top it off. Went to Thai 2 Go for dinner this evening for the first time. There were 7 of us dining together but we all had separate orders (placed at the counter). The food came out quickly... maybe 5-10 minutes and was steaming hot. I ordered the Thai Red Curry with Veggies spicy hot. The veggies were nice and fresh, and not over-cooked. Maybe my taste buds are getting burned out because it really seemed just medium spicy to me... nothing that a little chili sauce couldn't remedy. ;-) Otherwise, I've got to say that the food was very good and that I'd willingly drive the 20 mile distance to try more selections. read more

We were staying at the Holiday Inn on Harry Hines Blvd, and had them deliver the food to our room. We ordered the basil fried rice, shrimp in a blanket, spring rolls, and, custard sticky rice. Had my first taste of Thai food yesterday from Thai 2 Go and loved it. Having never had Thai food before I'm not sure what it is supposed to taste like but if this is even remotely close, then I'm hooked. Actually, it may be even better than Chinese food. We had the fried dumplings, potato cakes, pineapple fried rice with chicken and the tamarind chicken. While the potato cakes may have been slightly greasy, they still were good with the sweet and sour sauce provided. The pineapple fried rice could have had more pineapple in it. Loved the tamarind chicken. We will definitely order from here again! 10/21/15 - Made a 2nd trip here today to pick up my order. Had the tamarind chicken and corn cakes. The tamarind chicken was 9.95. I was disappointed this time because for 9.95 I would expect quite a bit of chicken, however there was very little in my to go dish. Probably not even half of a normal boneless chicken breast. There was only about 3 or 4 of any size that you could actually taste the chicken and the rest were like tiny bits that were mostly crust. I also had the corn cakes but they didn't provide any of the sauce to go with them. So, while what I had was decent, overall I was disappointed this trip for what I got for 19.32 (tamarind chicken, corn cakes and a green tea). So, I'm going to reduce my rating down to 3 stars until I see some consistency in quality and quantity. read more

The food itself was rather tasty but this is the worst customer service I've experienced in years. The online ordering system was malfunctioning(I tried 3x) so I had to call in my order. The RUDEST woman answered and gave me an unacceptable snippy attitude the entire time she took my order, all the while I was very polite. During a time where jobs are scare, it would be wise of employees to actually do their jobs and not be rude. She never told me how long it would take to make the food, but made me so uncomfortable that I was nervous to call back. I'm 100% certain she never gave me a time estimate and when I reluctantly called back and VERY politely asked she SCREAMED at me "I TOLD YOU 10-15 MINUTES!!" And hung up. I sent my partner to pick up the food because I was distraught and also would not have tolerated her disrespectful attitude face to face. When he returned, he had said the employee was a Hispanic woman. Receipt shows 8/16/20, 3:29pm, cashier 2 A. He said the woman was extremely rude and rolled her eyes at him for confirming that there was a drink with the order.
