Love everything we have tried so far! One of our goto "fast food." Our favorites are Fries Rice, Yellow curry, and Penang curry!

We placed an order online and upon arrival verified that our order had been placed. The employee assured us our order was a few orders behind others and would be made soon. An hour later we went back up and asked if our order was any closer to being ready at which point another employee told us our order had never been placed. While we were in there multiple to-go orders came back in claiming items were missing, wrong, or had never been made. The service at this location is subpar, employees are either frantic or standing around twiddling their thumbs because no one has any idea what's going on. My advice? Choose a different location. read more

Tried calling five times to place an order. No one ever answered. I just drove and came in to place the order. I asked if they we're having phone problems and was told no they're just busy taking orders. Trust me, they were not busy nor are they busy now as I sit here alone waiting for my food. Reviewing my order on the receipt and waiting for my meal to be prepared I noticed the order was put in incorrectly. Not worth mentioning I'll just be happy to get the food. "Food and employes are great" I am taking this down to a one-star review because this whole chain will not allow call in orders anymore. I have to go through a complicated app and website to do take-out orders on my way home from work the last thing I want to do is fiddle fart around with a goblin my last few minutes before I go home. Why in the hell do we have to go through a app to place a pickup order? Are you trying to get rid of your employees? Seriously aside from the fact that the website you go through is poorly mismanaged and filled with bugs at least open up the phone lines so your employees can do their job they have never screwed me over once. I understand that you want to get into the online marketplace but they're older people and people who just don't want to mess with an app to put their order in please open up your goddamn phone lines again so people can call in. read more

Love this place! First, it's fast...great for a quick lunch or dinner. I've been 3 times so far and can confirm it's also consistent...I've eaten other places where spice levels can vary from visit to visit, which is annoying, but this place is spot on each time. I order the Drunken Noodles w a medium spice level and then go to town adding extra veggies (these do come at a cost)...I love this dish!! We've also ordered the yellow curry (yum...soooo good!) and the pad Thai which is great also. One of my fav menu items though is the dumplings! The meat filling is sooo flavorful and the sauce to dip them in is great. The place is also great for your budget, very reasonably priced for such large portions of food. Definitely recommend and will for sure keep going back. Maybe next time I can snap a pic or two before I devour it!!! read more

Update: since the restaurant wrote back to my review, let me make myself crystal clear. Since the pandemic, we haven't eaten out much at all and we seldom get takeout food. We haven't eaten out for at least two weeks Prior to getting food from here. So yes, the stomach problems we had is completely due to the food from this place. We don't put negative reviews of places lightly. It is my mission as a customer to point out these negative experiences so that the business can improve themselves. Denial is NOT a good way to make your business better!! Original review: Great place to go when you have a constipation! Whole family got the runs after we ate the takeout from here last week. We weren't sure at first and my other kid got sick again after eating the leftover the next day. So we just threw everything away. I am a vegetarian and they put chicken instead of tofu in my pad Thai... also very disappointed because I paid extra for carrots and broccoli in my thai and they did not add it. Wanted Thai food all day... family decided on Thai. My husband and I drove over arrived at 8:15 pm on Sunday night. Didn't call ahead, cause we didn't mind waiting while an order consisting of 4 pad thai's. .... however, as the walked up to the counter the guy working asked it I called ahead. I said no I just want pad thia... his response 'it is going to be an 1 1/2 hr wait. This was on a Sunday night, only one person sitting at a table... I've always been a huge fan of Thai Chili and today was my first time to their "To Go" spot. Their menu is much shorter than that of the restaurant's and consists of a few appetizers, curries, rice, noodles and desserts. I had the $10 chicken red curry with brown rice which was prepped and ready within 10 minutes. Most customers got take out, but they also have a small dining section which consisted of 4 tables which can seat about 12 people. I love Thai Chilli 2 Go but this location seems to always be a little late with having the orders done and now this. My bowl was given to me about 60%-70% empty. It's not usually filled up to the rim but this is closer to empty than full. I need a full meal for $12. Another new location for Thai Chili. This one is hard to see because the signage is impossible to see from the road, but just know you have to turn when you see the Five Guys. Service front the front of house is great. There's a couple of young girls that cashier who are very sweet. I've only ever ordered at the counter, and the service can be slow. There's a ton of phone and app orders that come in at the same time, and unfortunately, people waiting in person don't take priority. The food here has been good but seems slightly under par compared to the other locations. I'll attribute that to being new. Hopefully they'll get up to speed, but if not, the power and Ray location was just as close. read more

I usually love Thai Chili To Go, but my experience at the Gilbert location was mediocre. I've been to the Queen Creek & Mesa location and have always had great service, so I expected nothing short of that. However, I ran into my student while walking in and she said, "I've been waiting here for 30 minutes for my food." I was hesitant, but really wanted some Thai food. I should have listened to her because my food also took 30 minutes. I understand this is a new location, but the other locations have always met my expectations. It took forever for a smaller amount of food than what I've been served before at the aforementioned locations and the food lacked the same flavor as well. If I do go back, I will make sure to call ahead 30 minutes to place an order. read more

I recently moved to this area and thought I'd stop by for some quick take out. This place was good for a quick to-go order, but I found the portion size to be somewhat small. $11 for a medium size bowl (half full) doesn't seem right. It was almost $24 for drunken noodles and some fried rice! The food was fairly good and service was fast and friendly. I got both "Thai Hot." It's spicy, but not THAT spicy. Overall for comparison, I would say this is better than Panda Express, but not as good as Pei Wei. I will most likely try this place again, but so far I'm only moderately impressed. read more

I can't always afford food around other places, but whenever I have to close for work, I always stop by for a tea. Although the employees do their best to treat everyone with respect, they're often swarmed with takeout orders because the store itself is so small. I finally got to their food today, yellow curry, medium spice, and I'm pleased at the fact it does warm your mouth and your stomach. The cumin and cinnamon are very prominent. It was a little sweet, though next time I guess I'll just have to order it more spicy. Still pretty good after you microwave it too. Just one thing, I might suggest cutting the potato's a different way because the wedges take up the whole bite. Otherwise they were cooked just fine, not mushy, but not hard. For things like curry they take care to package the rice separate from the sauce itself so it doesn't get soggy. I notice the cashiers do the best they can to cater to special requests, however I'd like to mention something... Almost every time I walk in the store, wether it's someone who's dining in, or just darting by for a pickup, almost every time, there's a customer leaning over the counter yelling at whoever's up front at the time about their order. Wether it was too spicy, or they don't like vegetables, or saying they're missing something they didn't pay for, they make everyone stop what they're doing to change it. Unfortunately this is Gilbert Arizona and people here can be nasty... I say it's impressive for chain Thai. It's a nice change of pace from your everyday shredded chicken and cheese. I say it is worth the money, even just to try, especially for the portions you get. Best of luck to the employees, and to you as the customer! It is a "to-go" restaurant, so be aware that the restaurant itself is very small with limited seating. They acted like my order was never placed and told me to leave. They rip you off on the protein. I had literally 15-20 times the veggies compared to chicken. The food is amazing but it's a huge let down when you run out of chicken literally after just a few bites. I would say 90% of it was veggies and 10% of it was chicken at best. read more
