We were walking inPaso looking for a good restaurant. We haphazardly walked by Classic Thai Paso. We love Thai Food. We were cordially greeted. They had a table for us. We ordered two house specials. Sizzling Seafood and Mango Curry with brown rice. All I can say is WOW ! What a surprise ! The sizzling Seafood had plenty of fresh seafood. Scallops, Fish, Squid, Shrimp, Mussels and plenty of Vegetables. A large portion for two people. Multitude of exciting tastes. The Mango Curry was some of the best Curry, We've ever had. Great food, great service, great location! Very unique take on Drunken Noodles, my wife and I were big fans. The Tom Kha was also fantastic.

Came here for dinner midweek. Had the Nandi curry which was delicious. My friend got the wonton soup which she said was very good. My other friend got the pad see ew which she said was good. Egg roll and chicken satay appetizers were good sized. Entrees were large portions with plenty for leftovers for another meal. Very good service and nice ambiance. We had been for dinner on 7/21 to this place in Down town , Paso Robles . Small restaurant with limited seating , was warm inside though , but fans were provided .We had vegetarian pineapple rice , Vegetarian fried rice with Green thai curry and grilled veggies and noodles . We live in Templeton and Thai Classic is our go-to for Thai food in North County. Always great food and the staff are super friendly.

This is turning into one of my favorite Thai restaurants! The staff is friendly and food is great. I love this place because they can make some of my favorite dishes vegan however you have to specifiy no egg and no fish sauce! Hands down the BEST curry! I always get the yellow curry with tofu and they never disappoint.

Gets the job done if you're looking for Thai. We tried a number of things including the Tom Yum Goong soup and everything was just alright. The soup was spicy, but mostly just tasted sour. The Pad Thai was just okay. I've definitely had more authentic Thai food, but being from LA definitely makes it challenging to find really outstanding food places when traveling. read more

Delicious!! I ordered the chicken pad Thai & asked them to make it VERY spicy. And they definitely did! I absolutely love spicy food. The dish is very tasty. Best pad Thai I've had in years. My boyfriend ordered the red curry I believe & it was made just how he likes it because he loves being able to taste the coconut. Garlic chicken was also delicious. It was more protein I could eat with my pad Thai. The vegetables in the garlic chicken were cooked very nice. My only wish is that they had papaya salad but that's okay because we were still very much satisfied with our meals. read more

Pad Thai and mango curry tasted great. Fried rice tasted better than a dozen of Thai restaurants I tried. Service had issues. They did not answer when I called to order, so I went there in person to order for pick up, thinking that they did not accept orders on the phone. They did not take my order for about 15 minutes, whereas they took orders from phone calls, while I was literally waiting next to them. I requested that they put my order before a phone call later than my arrival, but the lady with glasses would not listen to me and still made me wait. She kept saying "Happy new year" with smiles to other guests dining in, but would not take my order and expressed her dislike toward me. It took an hour total to order and pick up my food (including almost 20 minutes they made me wait to simply order). Even for a New Year's eve, I think it took too long. They originally said it would take 30 minutes to pick up the food. Despite the tasty dishes, I don't want to be treated badly for asking to order my dishes before other calls that came after me. read more

Downtown Paso Robles, near the center of town, you'll find Thai Classic in Paso. We could tell by the locals rolling in that a seat here at this family run Thai restaurant is coveted on a busy night. They had a steady local following walking through their door and were busy all three nights we were in town. As good as any solid Thai you'd find in San Francisco, or Los Angeles, Thai Classic had a menu full of good curries and solid pad thai and noodle dishes. We noticed very generous portion sizes. They were friendly, and mostly efficient, with one exception. Swamped when we arrived, and after, they didn't acknowledge some of the diners waiting in their rush to serve their tables. We waited it out, but it was standing room only at the entrance and we did notice a few parties giving up, and leaving while waiting for that acknowledgement. They may want to consider keeping a list, so their customers feel acknowledged, and secure with a place in line for a table, and seating for busier waits. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that this place has a great atmosphere, great customer service and is incredibly welcoming! I came in for the lunch special that includes soup of the day and a small salad including an entree. I got the cashew nut chicken and was unfortunately disappointed. Surprisingly, very good! Coming from LA, I did not expect to find such a gem. Ordered the shrimp pad Thai with extra peanut sauce and it was really good! So good, that I keep craving it. Big portions, could 1/2 it with another person and the price was considerably cheaper than most pad Thais out there. I counted 5 shrimp, with noodle, cabbage and red cabbage? I could not finish the whole plate, and the leftovers were just as good. You do need the extra peanut sauce to add a deeper flavor profile, I think there is ginger in the peanut sauce which I had never tried before. read more
