A fantastic Thai restaurant. Flavors and textures abound in this, what appears to be, family kitchen serving fresh house-made cuisine. An outdoor garden patio allows for enjoyment of the weather, albeit Temecula weather. An older gentleman, sometimes served, sometimes cleaned the windows and probably takes care of the garden. Perhaps it's dad. Prompt service was mitigated with the appetizer showing to the table - - - counting - - - should be here - - - here it comes, literally just before the entrees were brought out. I'll put it on you this way, we had plenty of time to talk before our food showed up; and, it all showed at the same time. The appetizer of GIANT Angel Wings showed up, then my very good Larb Kai with Romain leaves (I prefer cabbage leaves), a plate of Chicken Satai and a noodle plate that was also ordered. Everything had great flavors and textures. Even the iced teas that were ordered were extremely flavorful; however, the owner said they "are just regular tea". Not all service seemed the same as one table got the spicy condiment tray and ours didn't, but got quickly apologized for and brought out. Every time I've gotten food from here, it's been fantastic. My go to is the beef drunken noodles. We've always ordered pick up, but it's only a 10 minute time frame. The food is always ready and hot when we get there. It's a good portion too! The service is nice as well! The only thing i wish was different was that they didn't include plastic silverware in their to go orders unless asked to. I'm just going home to eat where I can use my own silverware. Initial service: We walked into the service area, and we were greeted by staff. We were seated outside in the front patio area, due to the nice sunny weather. The waitress was professional, and we received our drinks in a timely manner. A short time later, the waitress received our lunch order. Food: The food arrived within 20 minutes. The presentation of the food was nicely done. The portion of the food was adequate, and the quality was good. We had ordered the fried calamari, chicken pad Thai and another dish that I cannot recall. Orderly: The exterior of the restaurant appeared to be clean. I did not observe the interior, nor did I observe the restroom area. Price: The bill was approximately $38. Grievance: The calamari quantity was minimal, based on the $9 price. Some of the pieces looked like they had been fried multiple times. It was hard and pieces of the chicken inside the breading were hard/crunchy. There was hardly any sauce. I told my husband to complain and try to get a refund. I had to throw it away and ate Ramen for dinner instead. Very disappointed. My husband wouldn't ask for a refund because of another review he read where the restaurant refused to give a refund. We won't be ordering food here again.
