I like this place for Kao piek. The soup is tasteful but I've had bad experience a few times with customer service overall. Door dash experience: I've always door dash from this restaurant but recently I notice they've been so busy they don't really care about the quality anymore. I ordered Chicken noodle soup but specified for them to replace it as "Kao piek". Reason being is because they didn't have the option for kao piek on the door dash menu because they forget to put it back on sometimes and I've done this a few times where I had to place it as chicken noodle soup. Mind u, I've order from this restaurant at least 3-5 times a month. Anyways I guess they did not have any Kao piek and instead of canceling my order or even giving me a call, the person packing my food stated on the to go box and said "Sorry no more Kao Piek". I then called the restaurant to see why they didn't bother just canceling or at least give me a call. The lady then proceeded to say sorry they ran out of Kao piek and when i placed the chicken noodle soup that's what it is (basically like chicken pho but their version) and that they were too busy to call me. So instead of canceling my order or telling the door dasher that there wasn't anymore which I would of been fine and probably order elsewhere or something else from the menu, they just placed my order assuming I was ok with it. Indoor dining: I came here for the first time indoor dining since the pandemic. It was Sunday when it first opened at 11. There we're only 2 people in the restaurant. We were a party of 6. Everyone placed the order as I was the first one she went to and I order kao piek. Apparently the waitress forgot to put in my order. Everyone got their order except me. 10 min later after everyone got their food, I asked the waitress what's taking the kao piek so long. She went to check and said it will be another 5 min. I was fine no problem. More people showed up she went to tend to them and came back 5 min later again and told me that the something is wrong with their stove and it will be another 10-15 min if I still wanted. By the time she told me this everyone was basically done with there food so I just decided to cancel because I had somewhere else to go. I didn't leave the restaurant until 12:45. If she would just kindly had told me when she went to check where the kao piek was the first time around and told me she forgot I wouldn't had mind and just waited. Clearly the stove wasn't broken because there were 2 people that came in after us received their food right before she told me about the stove. I was already sitting in about 10-15 min after everyone got their food. I wish customer service here was better because the food is pretty decent. Many other encounters from this restaurant with customer service but only specified 2 unpleasant things that was not tolerable. read more

I wanted to like this place but sadly, the food was not to my expectation. The kasoy tasted like water, there was no flavor at all. The nam khao was VERY mushy and tasted like cauliflower. The papaya salad platter had a good variety of food but it would have been better if there was a divider to separate all the food so the papaya sauce doesn't get the other food. The papaya salad was very bland. I guess you can say the only decent food that I was able to order was the cucumber salad. The raw beef laarb was okay too. Their papaya salad definitely hits the spot! Have been here twice. The first time, even though one order of rice was forgotten, the whole dining experience was excellent. I went here cause it was initially listed as "thaicoon authentic boat noodle" or something like that. The waitress/hostess recommended Pad Thai over the Boat Noodle. Pad Thai - It was flavorful, there was a good amount. Grilled Beef Balls - At least that's what the menu says. No no, it's wrong. it's meant to be, fried beef balls according to the lady. That's a pretty big typo. Anyway. She said I can get it grilled, but i declined since fried is the way they are meant to make it. Why is the appetizer as expensive as the entree when its less than 50% of the food in the entree? It was maybe 4-5 tiny beef balls. The taste isn't bad, it's typical beef balls. But the texture is odd, the outside is a fried hard texture, the inner part is a rubbery chewy texture. The sauce that came with it - It was weird. So it was the sweet and sour eggroll sauce mixed with sriracha. The hostess/waitress said it's meant to be like the eggroll sauce with a spicy kick. The hostess/waitress asked for my opinion after I ate and suggestions for improvements. So that and the Pad thai got them a 3 star. At least they try. btw. The location also is a pain to get to. I actually used to love ordering from this restaurant; food was always good, and the service was usually a good experience. I would order takeout a few times a month. However, now I have to say their customer service is horrible! Their hours are incorrect in Maps, which I didn't know. I went to place an order approximately 30min before they supposedly closed. The online was accepted and when I got my receipt it had the next days date, but also noted the order would be ready in 20min. My credit card was charged at the same time. I drove to Thai Mango to pick up my order, but they were closed. I already emailed the site that processes their online orders, but also called Thai Mango today to explain what happened. I figured they would apologize and offer to let me pick up my order today. Yeah....no. She started out telling me they closed at 8:30pm. Ok, fine...but you have multiple places that display the wrong hours then. Next it was, "Well that online order site shouldn't have accepted your order." Again...ok, fine, but I was charged. Why wouldn't you just offer to let me pick it up today instead? After all, I still wanted to give you my business. I was told she needed to talk to her manager and would call me back. Almost an hour later, no call back. So I call back and was immediately placed on hold. For 20 minutes. She never came back. I hung up and called back only to keep getting a busy signal. I'm sorry, but this is not how you treat a customer. The food may have been good, but this experience will mean I never come back. read more

Pass this place all time and decided to give it a try and I'm glad i did. i had the papaya platter and fried pork ribs with a side of steamed broccoli. the pork ribs was very juicy and delicious. i usually don't like eating broccoli but for health reasons i eat them and i gotta say the steamed broccoli i received was very good. it was simple and plain but it was not too hard/crunchy or cut too big like some other restaurants. the platter however i felt was pretty good but no overly awesome. the papaya was delicious but that was pretty much all i liked about the platter. the wings were a bit too crispy and there was only like 3 pieces. the lao sausage wasn't much to my liking but that could just be me. Also did not care much for the noodles and hard boil eggs either. maybe next time i'll just order the items a la carte. over all, i enjoyed my first experience here and the customer service was very good as well. i would try this place again. read more

The food was ok. Its close to home so it will satisfy a craving for Thai food. But I don't think I'll be ordering again. The portions are ridiculously small. I had the pineapple rice that comes with chicken and shrimp. I had two shrimp in the entire dish. No exaggeration. Only two medium sized shrimp. The chicken was a standard amount. I also had the garlic and pepper dish that comes with meat of choice. I had beef. Which is $2.50 more. It was the smallest garlic pepper dish ever especially for $12+ they could have at least went extra on the veggies to make the portion size better. I would have been fine with more broccoli and green and the same amount of beef. The overall dish was too small and the beef should not cost extra if you aren't getting that much anyways The garlic pepper beef was delicious just not large enough for the price. Came here for the papaya salad platter but wasn't too impressed with it. The Lao sausage was good but the fried chicken was a little dry. And I've had better papaya elsewhere. My boyfriend ordered the cashew chicken and said it was good. My cousin ordered the Kaopoon and seemed to enjoy it as well. It is made Lao style so it has a shrimpy taste to it unlike the creamy coconut Kaopoon you usually get at Thai restaurants. Other than that, the service was good. One of the worst place I been to. We ordered the nam khao and requestes for no peanuts and when I got home there's peanuts on it. I'm allergic to peanuts so had it to toss it away.
