    2. Chicken Satay

I started with a Thai iced tea. It looked like there was a lot of cream in it, but the tea flavor was actually still pretty noticeable. Either it was balanced well or my palate was just picking it up more that night. For food, we ordered the pad see ew with beef, yellow curry with chicken, chicken satay, and roti. The food started coming out around the 12 minute mark, which felt reasonable for how busy it was. The pad see ew was good, but the yellow curry was probably my favorite out of everything we ordered. The chicken was tender and the curry had good flavor without being overwhelming. I just love taking some roti and dipping it in that curry. What I liked was just hearing the kitchen go to work! You could hear the dishes being cooked up fresh, and it just reminded me of my time in Thailand. Solid spot, I'll be back again.

Had dinner with friends after some shopping in the area. Everything was delicious!!! The ancient pad thai is a must if you've never had it. Will definitely stop by when we visit family in that area.

Mmmm dinner was just right today! Enjoyed everything! It was a busy night and the waiter still checked in. They have many to go orders for pick up, they can get pretty busy. Keep the same great taste and i'll be back!

I love thai food, and I've had my fair share of disappointing pad thais, and great. This pad thai definitely hits the spot especially since I was craving it so bad, I would definitely come here again to try something new such as the mango curry. The thai tea was also great even though I'm not the biggest thai tea fan! Only one server, she was great :)

Interesting location, due to the traffic congestion on Stockton Blvd it's pretty easy to pass by unknowingly which was what I ended up doing. When I walked into the restaurant there wasn't any staff in view. I ended up walking to their counter after a few minutes that was when I saw a staff and was told I could sit anywhere that was opened. If that was the case they may consider putting away the please wait to be seated sign when the restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered the Thai papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, drunken noodle with beef, and mango sticky rice. Each dish had a good size portion for the price. The papaya salad was not spicy even for a medium not sure why that was the case. Perhaps they forgot the peppers while the drunken noodles were spicy.

Waiter friendly and super quick service Boat noodle always good come here everytime I come in town Pretty small pho place but food is delicious!!

Variety of foods we ordered and more on the way. They were delivered to the table as they were ready. Not all at once.

Came here with sisters and dad for lunch. For noon, it wasn't that busy but there was only one person in the front doing everything, therefore, service was a bit lacking but expected and still pretty good for a one person crew. Food was delicious. Place was clean. Parking was plenty. There are normal Thai food we order but decided to be adventurous and tried clear noodle salad. It was good. Also tried beef laab Lao style with a bit of bitter. I enjoyed that too. Those were among my favorites. Ordered Thai iced coffee to go. A bit sweet but what can I say. It's not Vietnamese coffee. I haven't had Thai coffee in a while and forgot how sweet it was. Nam khai was super crunchy. Drunken noodle was a bit disappointing. Very thick noodles tbh at clumped together. Fried pork was good. Fried wings were also good and probably dad's favorite along with laab.

The restaurant was very clean and not busy inside but they were getting a lot of take out orders. The food was delicious. My hubby's cravings were fulfilled and the portions were a good size. We're definitely coming back here again to try their other items.

We also ordered the Tum Luang Pra Bang, green papaya salad with fermented fish sauce. I will say, the execution and the quality of ingredients were superb, I personally couldn't get past the flavor, but my mom, a stronger SEA woman, loved it! The staff was very nice and polite. The ambiance was very cute, gave cafe/small restaurant vibes. I have been in the area for awhile and this place has been a revolving door of restaurants. I hope this one sticks!

Service was excellent. The waitress was so attentive and kind and the food came out quickly. The restaurant is bigger than I remember, with lots of seating. Now on to the food part. I ordered a Lao style papaya salad, with a hot level of spicy. It definitely had a kick. My mouth wasn't on fire but I was definitely sweating. The spice level was perfect and the salad had just the right amount of savory and salty; one of the better papaya salads that I've had in the Sac area. I also ordered kaopiek, which is my favorite type of noodles. I tend to like my kaopiek's broth a bit more thick and gooey, while this one was a bit more runny. Nevertheless, the kaopiek was really good. The broth had a really good chicken flavor; All I added was a bit of fish sauce, lime, chili oil and fried garlic. The broth was fresh and flavorful and the noodles were perfect! I am definitely choosing Laos Kitchen over other SEA spots in the area.

The prices are steep now, I wasn't expecting $74 for the total plus tip. Restaurant is really in the hood next to a liquor store with bad parking. Seat yourself and the lady walks around to the front to bring the food to you. You grab napkins, utensils, and sauces yourself. Cute outdoor vibes, but not great in winter or extreme weather. It was windy and cold when we went, so not ideal but it wasn't horrible. Parking was easy. We parked on the street across from Smart & Final. The Tom Kha really wasn't as coconut forward as I hoped it would be, it actually had a very fishy taste, which I wasn't fond of.
