Thai meal is a staple in PL, it doesn't look like much on the outside. But let me tell you the food is freshly prepared and delicious. By far the best and sour chicken I've ever eaten. I truly wish I'd tried this place sooner. The food was amazing and the service was just as equally amazing. We went on a whim after Christmas shopping and we were definitely not disappointed. The food was incredible. I tried the crispy noodles with shrimp because they sounded unique and they were so delicious. I left with leftovers and they were even better the next day, since they soaked up all of the yummy sauce. The prices are very reasonable and the portion size is really good. A bit too greasy for me. Ask for mild and i think they just decided not to put any spice because I couldn't taste it haha. That's okay, if I ever come, I'll order medium. The four and a half star review on this place are legit! Should be five stars.. heck I'd give six or seven if possible. The food is amazing, end of story. Did the Yelp check in to get the free Thai donuts which capped off a great late lunch. I am boring and order panang curry at every Thai place, it seems. Their panang was different in that it had roasted cashews. I don't like cashews... I liked these cashews the panang. They also put a TON of green beans in the dish. My order of panange was almost two meals worth. My kid ordered the pad see ew and it comes with house made noodles. You could easily tell the difference between noodles that are fresh made and ones that come in from food service. Thai Meal's noodles were not glutenous and were DEE LISH! We also got an order of pad thai to go and reheated it hours later and it was also DEE LISH! For appetizers, their tom kha soup (with chicken) was the best I've had in So Fla and the chicken satay was also very good. First time ordering at their restaurant and their takeout -- ordered over phone. A bit chaotic because their phone died while ordering but we figured it out. Customer service was average and they were kind people. Parking is good, there are designated spots for pickup right outside the door. We ordered crab ragoon, 6/10 rating, veggie spring rolls (small portions), 2/10 rating, chicken teriyaki with fried rice and no egg, 4/10 rating, and drunken man noodles with chicken, 0/10 rating. The reason we rated this way, my drunken noodles had an inedible taste and smell (I just can't describe it} which transferred to the veggies and chicken. I couldn't eat the meal after discovering this. The chicken teriyaki was edible but lacking flavor, the crab ragoon appeared fresh and the wontons tasted good. The veggie spring rolls were fried well but the veggies were mushy and soggy inside. May have been a frozen spring roll but no hate. Satay Chicken - the best part is the creamy peanut sauce. It was chicken breast and cooked well but the flavours were not there. Very bland. What I can commend would be their white rice. It was cook to perfection. It was soft and warm. Other thai places that I've been to had great curry but dry rice. This place has great rice but everything else was not. I finally found a great Thai restaurant close to my house. I know every Thai restaurant serves Pad Thai and Pad See Ew but trust me this is one of the great places in Broward county. Those are a simple dishes but not easy to find the good ones that made it authentic. At Thai meal, Pad Thai was a little bit too sweet but nothing a couple pieces of lime can't fix. (Still the best Pad Thai in my opinion) The flat rice noodle that came in Pad See Ew was so fresh and soft (but not mushy) so I really think it was a homemade one. I also got a spicy beef salad which was so refreshing. The service was also nice and friendly. My server, an Asian young girl with glasses was so sweet and attentive. The restaurant itself was clean. This tiny place is a real hidden gem. Located in the middle of the Jacaranda Plaza in sunrise this place has great food at very reasonable prices. The service is excellent and friendly. The food is great whether have traditional Thai or something a little different every dish is prepared perfectly with great taste. It holds more weight because she and my wife are Thai. I ordered the Penang Curry and it was amazing. I have traveled all over the world, including Thailand and this ranks up with the best ones that I have had. The portion was really good, but more importantly the flavor was out of this world. My family and I got the spring rolls which were amazing. I got the chicken pad Thai, excellent! No wonder why it's the house favorite. My parents got the shrimp Tom Kha, they liked it. They also ordered the salmon panang curry, they liked my pad thai way more! The sauce was excellent but the actual salmon was okay. If I were to go again I would get the chicken pad tai! I think I just found my favorite Thai restaurant in Plantation! I'm new to the neighborhood so I'm still discovering all kind of places. One of my top finds was a Thai restaurant and this is it. The place is spacious and very clean. The service was superb. My husband and I took my mother in law with us and she loved it as well. She says it how it is and I was happy that she was happy. We order a soup to start, Tom kha shrimp and wonton soup, both were very delicious and the temperature was just right. I don't like when restaurants serve you boiling soups. That was not the case, very very happy with the soups. For dinner we order the Duck curry, fried rice with shrimp and Shrimp sunrise. Oh and also the salmon. Everything tasted so clean, not greasy, and it was just the perfect size portion. My favorite was the duck, I'm already dreaming about our next visit. The owner/chef was so kind, she came to our table and make sure we were good. She was very sweet. So sweet that she send Thai doughnuts to our table. Finally found a great Thai place in south Florida! We got the Panang chicken curry and vegan drunken noodle with fried tofu and veggies and everything was so delicious and flavorful! Service is great as it was the hardest working lady serving the entire restaurant which was super busy for a random Thursday afternoon! No wonder it is so packed on a random weekday. My husband got the lunch special as we were there before 3 pm and it came with a choice of ginger salad or spring roll. I wish we had photos are presentation was very nice and my noodles were covered in a delicious sauce. Such a nice change from other Thai places in the area where my drunken noodles were actually still white noodles that had no seasoning. We also checked in and got the free donut offer and they were hot freshly made and delicious! Portions are great as are the prices. Plenty of parking.
