Worst brisket pho I've had from anywhere on this island. The meat was a weird texture. Pad Thai was good, yellow curry needed more veggies.

(Base on my first time experience) Could have been better ‍ I ate everything of course not wanting to waste. Ambiance was pretty good. Service and food was good-alright. But I've had better service and better food tasting in other spots that were not as fancy restaurant looking. Does that make sense? I'd definitely try this place again and try other items in the menu, but it wouldn't be a I'd go back right a way in a heart beat kind of feeling for me. but I'm gonna have to go back to see for 2nd experience Ambiance- Clean. Nice artsy/fancy decor. Staff- was friendly and nice. Service- food came out fast, but was kinda bad as far as them not being around to service us as much because we were sat towards the back at a booth which was convenient for us because we had 2 kids. I was surprised to come here, a new Thai place bringing in the very stiff competition. I'm a big fan of Thai food and these guys may have elevated to my very favorite. I walked in, very attractive and clean location. The service was terrific, friendly and not an unpleasant thing in sight. Everything was so clean and people were so kind!! 11/9/24 Didn't want to drive too far for pho which was s big mistake ....so we decided to dine here instead.husband and I both ordered their pho. The soup wasn't hot and it kinda lack flavor. Pho and company as well as pho HH will always be the best in my opinion. Also they charge $4.95 for extra basil ! We also got their combo appetizer with fried tofu, fried shrimp roll and spring rolls .... It was flavorless and the sauce tasted off... also they didn't have garlic chili oil. Service was ok. We are not ones to load the sauces in the bowl, so a tasty broth is important. Husband loved their oxtail pho! Inconsistent hours of operation. Their yelp, google and in store listings are all different. Right as we sat down, I could tell we were being rushed. We walked in at 730pm. Within 5 minutes of us eating our food, our waitress asked us if we need take our boxes. Our fried chicken was basically bloody and raw. We dined in at Thai Pho Ewa on a Monday at about 745pm. Typically, if I can't get to a restaurant with at least an hour til closing time, I don't go. Last night was an exception cause I was super hungry & had been craving pho since last week Friday. When we arrived, I was definitely surprised. The place is pretty spacious. We each ordered a combination pho & pork spring rolls to share. The lettuce to wrap the spring rolls were very fresh & crisp. Also loved the cut of the cucumbers.. they were thick! The spring roll itself was rolled nicely & fried to perfection. Very tasty! We both had 1 each with everything on it & drizzled with that sauce, which was a little thicker than other places, but it was good. Shortly after we ate a spring roll, our big bowls of pho arrived. We quickly set the spring rolls aside & started on the pho. The broth was good, but I feel like it was missing something. I just don't know what! My favorite part of the pho was that it was packed with everything! Noodles, broth, & all that meat & tendon. Yuuuummm!!! Good food, friendly service, & free parking! First time I went there I ordered the combinations pho and it was awesome. I've took my family there and ordered the same thing with side order tendons and my wife ordered the shrimp Pad Thai and we was disappointed because the shrimp and tendons tasted spoil and had a sour taste to it. I've went there again to see if my combination pho would be better but it tastes exactly the same as the last time. It also tasted like it was sitting I. The freezer for awhile. Ordered Thai tea, no boba. It came in a mason jar. I love it!!The place was not too busy, it was very clean. And I love the fresh plant in the center. Since it was my first time, it took me a few minutes to read through the menu. From the menu, it's a combination of Thai and Vietnamese dishes. I was hoping they had Thai boat noodles. Nope. So I opt for the combination appetizers and pad see ew. Best decision ever! It came with 2 crispy shrimp lumpia, 2 fried pork egg rolls, and deep-fried tofu. It was so crispy and fresh. The service was good and and the flavors of the food are good it's just that the breading they use to make the fried dishes to be crispy made it a little to hard for us to bite. I've really enjoyed everything I've had here. And their portions are big. I only get takeout, but love that they have a big outdoor dining area out back. It's not visible from the front, but it's right next to Buffalo Wild Wings, at the corner of Keaunui and Fort Weaver in Ewa (in the same parking area as Safeway, Ross & Petco). This place always smell delicious and today leaving the UPS Store I couldn't resist the smell and decided it's Pho Ewa for dinner (also, cute store name). . Also, just an FYI - Their store name is Thai Pho Ewa, but some of their online stuff (like here on Yelp), it just says Pho Ewa. They are described as Asian Fusion. The interior is nicer than most pho places probably leftover decor from the prior restaurant that used to be there, which I had never gone to. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night, take out orders too. One waiter was running the whole show and he was on top of it plus super friendly. I think I heard him say he was washing dishes too. The pho was pretty good, not the best I've had but no complaints. They started carrying Thai dishes because Bangkok Chef next door closed recently, so now they have more market share for S.E. Came here for Hainanese chicken rice because we haven't seen this dish at any other restaurant, but our server said they were out... They have a drink with boba, but they were out of boba... On the menu it says it's supposed to come with Jasmine rice and house daily soup. There was Jasmine rice, but they didn't bring out the house soup (sad face). I got the combination pho, which is supposed to come with rare beef brisket, meatballs, tripe, and tendon. While I was eating, I was searching for the tripe and tendon, but there was none... Lots of pho places, lots of changing restaurants, and this happens to be a good pho place in a location that changes restaurants frequently... that said, the PHO is great. Rich flavored broth, nice amounts of meat and add ins, and lots of sauces to put in. Went after a long day of paddle boarding and craved some heart warming pho. This definitely got the spot. Ordered the pho with rare stale and brisket, and it didn't let me down. Also got a chicken pho, which was good (not my personal fave, but still good). Then we ordered the summer rolls... one of my favorite foods. Meh... just meh. Wasn't overly flavorful and felt too full of greens. I'll return for the pho for sure, but not ordering those again. MUST TRY! I walked in on a Tuesday evening, an hour before closing. Table for 2. It was empty. I noticed this is a new spot in town. There was no host at the front when we entered but as soon as our host/server came out we were greeted and seated quickly. Food came out pretty quick. We ordered Thai iced tea (came in such a cute cup), spring rolls, rare steak and brisket pho, grilled beef entree, and shrimp tempura. EVERYTHING was so gooooodd! My go to place for Green Curry! Great portions & awesome service! I did a phone order & picked up about 15 min before closing. I try to avoid doing that so the staff can close & get out at a decent time. But I didn't feel rushed like some other restaurants might make you feel. I added mushrooms to the curry (about $4.75 extra) but unfortunately didn't have any included. Actually called after hours to leave a voicemail but someone answered! (Phan I believe, I hope I got her name right) She apologized & was able to put a credit under my name for the discrepancy. Always loved the pun 'Thai Pho Ewa' it's genius!!! Nice clean restaurant but I got take out today, I repeated the order that I wanted 3 rare steak and brisket pho's multiple times. I don't know if the lady over the phone heard me. The order came with only one pho. I also ordered a side order of onions that was either inside the pho or was forgotten and I paid extra for that. The lady was very nice and she assisted with getting the other two pho plates I ordered initially. But the pho was not very flavorful. No utensils were given. The chili garlic sauce was delicious. All together it was alright but I don't know if I'd go back for the pho. Maybe the Thai food here is better, I'll have to give it another shot one day soon. read more

Yummy and a unique fusion experience. Phô with a Thai inspired twist, this place has both Tha AND Vietnamese cuisine but nothing like you normally expect. Just delicious, satisfying and everyone in our party of 5 including two 4 year olds had a very satisfying experience. From spring rolls, to the beef phô, a vegetarian Pad Thai we all enjoyed our meals so much we couldn't finish our Panang Chicken curry that we'll gladly eat at our next meal. The avocado and banana smoothies were also the right refreshment to cool off from a hot afternoon while at WaiKai. Must go here when the hunger pangs hit and you're out and about in Ewa.
