Traveling from Port Townsend to Portland we stopped for lunch at Thai Wok Kitchen. I had Chicken Pad Thai and my traveling mate had Yakisoba. Both were delicious! Went here for lunch today on recommendation of a co-worker who said this was the best Thai food they have ever had. Sorry to say I was disappointed. It wasn't bad but I have definitely experienced better Thai food. Service was good. Tables were sticky. I had to keep my arms off of them so they wouldn't stick to the table. The only place in Vancouver I have found to have really good pad Thai. All of the previous Thai places I have tried used to much ketchup in the sauce and made the dish very sweet. I did not taste ketchup at all in the sauce though in my opinion it could have used a bit of salt. The salad rolls are a bit heavy on the lettuce with minimal shrimp but the peanut sauce they serve with them made me forget about that. There is a slight sweetness to the peanut sauce without being to overwhelming. I shared a Thai ice tea with my husband and we opted to have an egg roll with our lunch specials. It came to just over 27.00 for the two of us even with going on a weekday during lunch. I will definitely go back to try the other options on the menu. read more

Probably the best Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. I ordered the yellow curry and the flavor was out of this world. I ordered it at a medium heat but I will say it was hotter than hell! So hot it was hard to eat, however the flavor was soooo good I couldn't stop eating it. Very large portions and very friendly staff! Wonderful place. We had a group of 6 so I called to make sure they could take us all since it's such a small restaurant. They were great about giving me a time when they could fit us all in. The food was fresh and very flavorful. Our group included both people who can't handle any spice at all to a few who have high spice tolerance. A lot of restaurants will lean to one end or the other but these people nailed both ends of the spectrum. The folks who couldn't handle spice got exactly right, and those of us who could handle spice got exactly the spice level we asked for. Note: they have a 5 "chili" scale with 5 being "Thai spicy". They aren't kidding. I went with 4 and got a dish just as spicy as the top-of-scale at other Thai restaurants. The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. My grandma has mobility issues so we were occasionally a bit in the way and moving slow. Everyone was nothing but kind and helpful - including the other patrons. :) read more

We love this place! We only found it recently but we've been back twice more in a month. The service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant itself is very clean and well decorated; overall, it has a casual, relaxing atmosphere. The food itself has been wonderful and fairly priced! Been here about 4 times total now. Food is great and service is always on point. Pad see ew and pad Thai has great flavor and not overly saucy. Kerri, seems to know nothing about federal laws on how establishments deal with service animals. If a person claims that their dog is a service animal you have to let it in and CANNOT ask for proof that it is a service dog. Thai Wok was amazing! We started out with the pot stickers and there spicy, sour soup and it was DELICIOUS! The pot sticker were different then most because they were not fried, but they were so good! For our main course we had the drunken noodles and orange chicken (we added a little spice to the orange chicken) and I normally don't like orange chicken and it was fabulous! Actually tasted like real orange zest and it wasn't too saucy! For dessert we got the fried banana and coconut ice cream and that was to die for! So good. I literally have nothing to complain about.
