    Turkey chili and turkey sandwich

The turkey chilli was really good. Very hearty, fresh, abd enjoyed the shredded cheese and red onion on top. Prepped to perfection. The sandwich was pretty good too.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Pleasant place for lunch. We were in the area and were looking for a place for lunch and their menu was up our alley. We got there right after they opened so we were the first ones in, but the place filled up soon enough. The decor was attractive, with lots of dark wood, the ambiance was nice and calm, with friendly servers. I got the grilled shrimp tacos, which were three street-style tacos with plump shrimp, grilled veggies, shredded cabbage and avocado salsa, accompanied by seasoned tortilla chips and a nicely piquant green salsa. The hubby got the 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich and 1/2 garden salad, which he liked. You can mix and match among 3 types of sandwiches, salads, and soup--a nice option for a lighter lunch. We didn't have any beer on this visit but noticed the board with lots of interesting options. If you're looking for a more chill option on main st this place is worth a look.

Me and my hubby came here randomly and glad we did. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I couldn't get over the chicken sandwich. It had grilled onions and mushrooms. I devoured it in seconds! Tasty shoestring fries paired with it nicely. Nice layout. I'd love to come back and try their pizza!

Great place to watch your favorite sports team! Lively environment - engaging locals. Friendly staff (thanks Keri) Delicious pizza, Mr. Wonderful enjoyed his burger, good selection of beer and wine.

    Pretzel with beer cheese

In many years since we last visited here. So happy we stopped in though. Speaking with our waitress, they remodeled during Covid. Looks great! Just a beer and wine bar with some really good food! We were under impressed with the Abbey lemonade, and our appetizer, pretzel with beer cheese. They could've done something to increase the flavor of the Abby lemonade and the pretzel with beer cheese just really wasn't cutting it for whatever reason. Not on the same level as some other pretzels we've had recently. That said, their pizza was absolutely delicious! We ate more than half of the large buffalo chicken pizza. Delicious! They really did a nice job with the remodel! Everything looks super! Not a bad place to stop in for some great beer and pizza!

Shout out to the man behind the bar that acted as the host, bartender, and server!! He was so nice and helped us during our time here. They have a nice selection of beers and played the dodger game so we were content. Food was decent, vibes were cool, and beer was crisp!

    Chicken caprese sandwich with fries

Solid neighborhood pub experience during our lunch visit to Seal Beach. Simple fare, efficient friendly service. I ordered the main street BBQ teriyaki salmon plate which came with rice and veggies. Husband ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and fries. The sandwich came on a nice fluffy ciabatta bread with basil pesto, tomato, cheese and chicken grilled inside. He loved this sandwich! I think it was the pesto that made this dish for tasty. The fries were skinny cut and good as well. My salmon came with a side of some kind of sauce in addition to plenty of teriyaki on top. The veggies were tender broccoli and carrots both cooked fork tender so perfect for me. The dish was a huge piece of meat very thick and showing nice grill marks. I ate it all, and only wanted just a bit more jasmine rice to balance it out, the rice portion was a little stingy. But a really nicely prepared meal for a neighborhood bar! Wish there was one near me in Phoenix!

Service was excellent! Food was tasty, portions are perfect & the price is reasonable. A lot of beverage choices as well. Small area but made reservations on a Saturday evening for 8 was great! 2.7.26

    Food menu, some interesting options!

We went to the Abbey on a Saturday evening, and boy was it busy! Hostess told us it would be a 30 minute wait for our party of six, we did not get seated for 85 minutes, not a large place but pretty disappointing! So by the time we sat down, we were quite hungry, a bit tired from standing outside on the street where they have you wait and not in the best of spirits. That being said, I ordered the ahi pokey nachos and thoroughly enjoyed them. The fish and chips and cheese pizza for the kids also went over quite well. Ordered a beer, but had to send it back as it wasn't what I ordered, but did enjoy the hazy IPA when it arrived. I'd love to check this place out on a weekday, I'm thinking the experience would be much smoother.

This place is the best place you can eat at in seal beach if you don't come here your missing out fr the abbey burger and the poke nachos out of this world 11/10 would recommend and am definitely coming back.

Fried Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries

The food is okay. I ordered the Thai Tenderloin Noodles because the girl at the next table was eating it and it smelled really good. The dish turned out to be on the sweeter side for my preference though.

    Baja burger

Gastropub in downtown Seal Beach. I'm in town every 3-4 weeks & this has became my new favorite escape. Solid burgers & they actually cook to a spot on medium rare. Great selection of beers & ciders on their rotating taps. Servers are nice & polite; there enough to take care of business, but they don't bother you when your mouth is full.

In the summer when I'm in Seal for two months I go every Sunday for brunch. It is fabulous. I was looking forward to my last Sunday about a month ago, the day before I was headed back home. I arrived at my usual time about 15 minutes before brunch is scheduled and advertised to end. The bartender, who is not my usual server, informed me that I could not order brunch. When I politely inquired as to why, since the time had not expired for brunch, she condescendingly told me that since I don't work at a restaurant, I wouldn't know that the kitchen shuts down before the actual time. I noticed that the owner didn't happen to be there that Sunday as he usually is. We left.

Needs more marketing to really bring in the women as the place is a bit male heavy (although not suggesting to exclude them) but if it's owned by women, meant for lgbtq+ women, they need to do more leg work to draw in that population, especially Black women, especially the Black lgbtq+ diaspora of women, femmes, masc etc. Unless it's intentionally not meant for us.
