We've been three times and have loved everything we've had. This is a great little upscale restaurant north of Dallas in a little bedroom community. What a gem! And great happy hour specials, so get there early if you want the best deals. We've done both, and the food and ambiance are worth the price.

The restaurant itself was very good. Unfortunately the hostess was extremely rude. We sat down and our waiters were very nice. Drinks were on happy hour so that's good and the food itself was very good. The bread pudding was excellent.

We went here in October; hadn't tried it because I kept hearing about high prices. It's not! Their prices are reasonable, their happy hour is generous, and they have a burger special on Mondays. We loved everything we tried - perfectly cooked, served promptly, just terrific all around. If you're lucky enough to get Eleanor as your server, take every recommendation she offers; you'll be glad you did because she's outstanding. We sat on the patio and totally loved the vibe - from lighting to the pond to their creative selfie wall, it was great.

Great atmosphere, nice people and want to love it. Low hanging fruit to fix. Proper serving utensils (all - steak knives, spoons for sides), dishes hot, toilet paper in bathroom...felt frustrated and bad having to ask for the simple things. Never were asked if we wanted dessert just brought our check. Speakeasy is fun touch. Dinner roll option might be nice. If service were on it and kitchen sharpened a bit - this could save a drive and maybe draw from larger area. Bartonville needs a spot like this so hope they can step it up just a bit.

The best drinks in Denton County! Blake is a mastermind mixologist. You will not be disappointed with the cocktails here. Love the vibe of the main bar and the speakeasy. Clint was a wonderful bartender this evening. Love this local gem!

I received a Barrel gift card for Mother's Day and couldn't wait to get over there to use it. We came on a Saturday evening around 5:30, had a reservation and was seated right away. Our waitress was incredibly kind, offering recommendations and suggestions to make our dinner choices more delicious! We sat outside where is was very cute and had a nice water feature running next to it but I do think after May it might get uncomfortable at certain times of the day due to the heat. We tried quite a few things while we were there - salmon wontons which had wonderful filling and crispy exterior. Some drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic, the waitress was also very patient with me when I confirmed my drink was non alcoholic which I really appreciated. We also had two delicious entrees, the ribeye and the short ribs. We both really enjoyed our own as well as the other persons. Depending on your mood and possibly how hot it is outside you might prefer one more to the other but I found both to be delicious, served quickly and very filling. We splurged and got the bread pudding as well and it was so incredibly good but after we ate everything else it was the one thing we didn't eat completely. I highly recommend The Barrel especially for a date night!

Let's preface this with first! How in the hell did we not know this place was here 5 years living right down the road! I am head over heels that we found this Amazing Place! If your a Bourbon Connoisseur they have you covered! If your a Wine Connoisseur they have you covered! If you enjoy Great not good but great food Chef has you Covered! You want Personal attention from your waitstaff, they have you covered! You want extremely clean and well kept they have you covered! If you want Food that makes the pallet dance with excitement waiting for the next course this is a place for you! Don't rush it take it in, the atmosphere, the taste, the smells of exquisite food. We came in and were promptly greeted by Ashley who seated us immediately. First thing that was noticed was the placement of the Silverware, which was polished to a brilliant shine, the Wine and water glass, not a single spot as one would expect in a fine dining establishment. Our Waiter Xander quickly came to the table, and when asked about house favorites was quick and knowledgeable about the menu and foods! Absolutely spot on descriptions, including the sauces and flavoring of the foods! We choose the Oysters and Deviled Eggs appetizers! What a great recommendation the Oysters were not only fresh ( clean and clear) the sauces sent with them were traditional and very fresh it is apparent in the taste! The deviled Eggs are not your Grandmothers Thanksgiving Eggs they are better just don't tell Grandma.. My Wife ordered the smoked Duck meal, judging by how quickly she cleared her plate I can say it was beyond delicious, and she is picky as picky comes. I had the Ribeyes and I am a Beef purist, no sauces just give me the meat! Cooked perfectly, I didn't need a knife this steak was simply amazing, I have had 140.00 and Ounce WAYGU that was not nearly as tasteful and so perfectly cooked as this steak was. The sides were some mashed potatoes and asparagus both flavorful and perfectly paired with this steak. Now I orders three orders of the scallops with my steak as I love scallops, these were not dainty little scallops they were big and tasty. Perfect cook on the scallops seasoned just right still allowing that sea taste to come through! We opted for the homemade Bread pudding, wholly Mother of Mary! This dessert should be illegal it is so absolutely delicious you have to tart it all, you can be completely stuffed you will make room for this dessert! I can not say enough about how well we were treated by the amazing staff, our Waiter Xander was truly an absolute pleasure to speak with, and a consummate professional, his recommendations were spot on! We are planning our next visit and I guarantee you it will not be another five years before we return, so glad we found this amazing spot! To whomever owns this little slice of heaven Thank you kindly for providing this area with such An awesome and well managed establishment!

This quaint spot has been standing for more than 140 years and now serves as a restaurant and live music venue on the weekends. A short time later, the other bartender came to check if I was ready to order. The menu has "somewhat" improved. Gone is the messy and expensive Seafood Boil. In addition to the regular menu, there was a Wednesday Dinner Special and the Bar Top Bites menus. Of the three items on the Dinner Special menu, only the Cheesecake Basque dessert was on the regular menu, priced the same. Believing the portion size would be appropriate, I decided on The Hottie Calzone from the Bar Top Bites menu. The calzone took about 16 minutes. The server almost served my food to the customer who sat next to me. When the bartender came to check on me, she mentioned the calzone was missing the marinara on the side, and immediately went to the kitchen to grab it. The calzone was smaller than expected. Nor was it as stuffed as hoped. Considering its price was about half of their equivalent 12-inch two-topping pizza, it should have been expected. Because the jalapeño was not overpowering, the combination of the pepperoni, mozzarella, and the peppers was enjoyable. Although I still had an appetite, I passed on dessert. Many of the dessert items were served with caramel ice cream. Not a flavor top on my list. Also, my dining experience was not entirely pleasant. A nearby customer and the manager had a somewhat lengthy discussion about paying for an ice cube. Although it ended before I finished my meal, I was not in the mood to stay longer. On a minor note, it appears the wireless chargers have been disabled. Unlike my prior visit, they are no longer labeled "Wireless Charger".

The service is amazing and personalized, the drinks are on point, and the food is outstanding. Having lived in Houston and Chicago, great Indian food has always been a staple for me, and it was something I really missed after moving to Dallas two years ago. Despite the large Indian population and many restaurants here, the quality and authenticity usually fall short of cities like Houston, New York, or Chicago--until I found Delhi 6. I've already been back four times. The dhaba-style butter chicken is one of the absolute best I've ever had, and the Rogan Josh is another personal favorite.

My "quick search" for local Indian food spat out Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar as the top choice. Thirty minutes and 14 miles of Highland Village pavement later, I checked Google Maps only to find there was an Indian spot one mile from my location. At that point, I wasn't just hungry; I was "Yelp-betrayed" hungry. Walking into Delhi6 is a bit of a trip. I expected a standard restaurant; I got a lounge that felt like I should have traded my sneakers for a velvet blazer. It was dim, moody, and featured tabletop lamps that made me feel like I was about to negotiate a high-stakes merger--or at least a very serious order of Garlic Naan. I was greeted by Rohi, a man so well-dressed he made the rest of the room look under-rendered. He introduced himself as the acting manager and dropped a line so bold I almost choked on my own anticipation: "This is the best Indian restaurant in all of Texas." Sir, those are "fightin' words" in a state that takes its spices as seriously as its brisket. My expectations didn't just rise; they hit the ceiling. To see if Rohi was a prophet or just a very stylish salesman, I applied my standard Indian Food Litmus Test. No fancy bells and whistles--just the classics. Their menu, by the way, is a literal tome. It's as thick as the Cheesecake Factory menu, but thankfully with fewer pictures of Glazed Salmon and more promises of cumin-induced euphoria. The Tandoori Chicken was smokey, tender, redder than a fire engine. It had that perfect "kissed by the flames" char and a deep, smoky soul. The Chicken Tikka Masala balanced creaminess and spice. It was sweet, savory, and vibrating with bright spices. The chicken was so tender it practically dissolved on impact. The Paratha was dry and a bit tough--the one "C" on an otherwise straight-A report card. Despite the paratha being more "cardboard" than "cloud-like," the rest of the meal was a revelation. I found myself nodding along to Rohi's bold claims with every bite of that Tikka Masala. The flavors weren't just good; they were "I'm glad I drove 14 miles for this" good. It's right up there with the heavy hitters like Taj Mahal and Café Maharani. If I ever find myself in Highland Village again--or if Yelp decides to trick me into a cross-state road trip--I'm stopping back at Delhi6. Thank you, Yelp, for being terrible at math but excellent at finding me a five-star "mistake."
