The Big Salad seems over priced for what you get. Yes, you can select your ingredients right in front(not sure how fresh the ingredients are). Service is so-so. The food is good, but nothing special. The dressing are different and not a wide range of selections .

I was craving a salad so picked up some friends to try this place out. It was worth it. They have custom salads or you can make your own. They have the big salad or baby salad. The baby salad is big enough for 2 people. My husband got the Caledonia salad and he liked it...my son got the honey chicken sandwich and loved it. The tortilla soup was really good also. We will be back

Do not eat here! Both my guy and I were sick this morning after eating lunch here. You walk in and it seems very clean and organized. I should have known better than to disregard the HUGE chunks of black mold that came out of the tea urn. I served myself ice from the soda machine. Then I proceeded to pour green tea into my cup for my beverage. Big black gunk poured out Into my cup. This was NOT tea leaves. I am positive! I told the cashier and showed her what I pulled out and squeezed it between my fingers. She apologized and gave me a new cup. I then opted for a Pepsi. We received our order and neither of the two employees came out to empty the tea urn and take it to the back to disassemble the spout and clean it. We ate our meal and still the tea urn sat on the counter for people to use. Not until we got up to leave and they asked how everything was, and we inquired about the tea urn, did they finally react. This was disturbing. I didn't think about it again. We went on with our day and I made dinner at home. Being in the food industry myself, I know how long it takes to react to anything bad you ingest. I am certain the ice bin and Pepsi nozzles are so dirty with black mold and this is what got us sick. I should have know better. The second knock to this establishment is that we attempted to have dinner the night before and arrived at 6:45pm. The web states they close at 8pm. When we arrived the two staff members had everything covered and said they close at 7pm. The window also states 8pm, but hey, who are we. The salad was good. The soup was thick like gravy and the sandwich looked NOTHING like the marketing.

Mexican tortilla soup & a salad of my own design: romaine, spinach, broccoli, carrots, onion, feta, almonds, bacon & sesame ginger dressing

Spring is growing by leaps and bounds with new restaurants popping up every day! Here's why you should stop in to The Big Salad: 1. Have it your way! Take advantage of the build-your-own salad option and get all your favorite toppings in a baby sized (which is actually quite large) or big sized (enough salad to feed an island of rabbits) salad. Start with your lettuce choice: iceberg, spinach, or romaine. Or hey get crazy and get a mixture of lettuce! *My go-to salad is a mix of romaine and spinach, broccoli, carrots, onion, feta, almonds and bacon! Top it all off with the delightful ginger sesame dressing and you have a trophy salad! 2. Pre-designed salads: if you only have enough brain power to decide where you want to eat but not what you want to eat; grab a Pre-designed salad and enjoy your meal without the hassle of making several decisions. 3. Tomato Basil Soup, Mexican Tortilla soup, and broccoli cheddar...just ALL the soups! Can't decide what you want? The friendly employees will let you sample them! 4.Cleanliness: this is a brand new storefront in a brand new shopping center, so this place is impeccably clean! 5.Music: dine in and enjoy the lovely "dinner music" playing in the dining room. 6. Real plates & Real silverware: I tend to hate cafeteria style restaurants because it feels so wham-bam-thank you ma'am, but not here! The plate ware bumps this place up. Have you stopped reading yet? I would have...this is a novel. But seriously, go get a fresh salad. Treat yourself to a delicious soup. And meet the friendly employees eager to help you make the right food selection. *Bonus!* There is a rewards app for freebies and discounts. I got a free big salad during my birthday month.

What a beaut she is! This restaurant is absolutely adorable…read more I'm a sucker for bright, airy spaces, and this little corner spot delivers exactly that. The natural light pours in and gives the whole place such a fresh, welcoming feel before you even take your first bite.On my first visit, I walked straight to the counter ready to order. I knew one thing for certain--I wanted steak. The only challenge was deciding on the sides. Thankfully, the cashier stepped in with some recommendations, and I'm glad they did because the broccoli and corn quinoa ended up being excellent choices.I didn't dine in this time, but they do offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the space itself is charming enough to make me want to stick around next visit. I only wish I had taken a better photo of my meal because the picture does absolutely no justice to the flavor. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, light, and delicious. It was one of those meals that leaves you completely satisfied without feeling weighed down afterward. Sometimes you're craving something flavorful and filling, but not so heavy that you need a nap afterward--and this hit that sweet spot perfectly. I enjoyed my experience so much that I ended up purchasing a few gift cards for friends so they could try it too. That's usually a pretty good sign that a place has earned a return visit from me.Fresh food, beautiful atmosphere, and a meal that leaves you feeling good afterward. I'll definitely be back.

Our first visit did not disappoint! We shared the Mother Earth bowl with no added protein and the…read morered chile glazed sweet potatoes. Both were delicious. The potatoes had a perfect spice level, coming from someone who does not care for spicy food. The ingredients tasted fresh and clean. I also got the Earl Gray tea- it is delicious. Every employee we interacted with was helpful, pleasant, and gracious- lovely! There is ample seating, some more cozy spots, which I prefer. Really cute decor. Clean. Prompt removal of dishes. I can't wait to come back! Re: sharing these dishes, I don't exactly recommend this, the portions aren't huge. We are on day 38 of fasting and aren't eating much these days, so we were satisfied but not stuffed.

They have lots of seating, beautiful bathroom and lots of space. Definitely a very beautiful place to dine. Food was pretty good but not amazing. I had crab cake egg Benedict. It was a very large meal and was pretty tasty but the crab cakes weren't great. My husband had chicken wrap with chips and chips were really bad. I am not sure how to mess up the chips. Overall was a good experience, except the potato chips.
