We went on a Saturday morning just after 10am. We were sat immediately, the restaurant was about half full. The service was friendly and fast. The food was good. I would have given 5 stars but I really wanted a side of pancakes to go with my Stella Southern Scramble but the only way to get pancakes is to order a full pancake meal, they don't have it as an optional side to one of the other breakfast specialties. When I grumbled a little, very politely, the waitress mentioned she gets that request all the time and it's just the house policy. Here's an idea: If your customers are frequently asking for something that you refuse to offer, and your restaurant is half full on a Saturday morning, in Gilbert, you probably not going to get a lot of repeat business. We went here for the first time today. It was very clear that they are in desperate need of servers (just like any business these days) but even short staffed they were very efficient. They were very polite and apologized multiple times for the delays (which were pretty minimal) but you could see the employees literally running around doing their best to accommodate everyone. Holy moly where do I begin! Slow crappy service, cold raw hash browns, green pepper hash, the list goes on but we were a first & now a last time customer. Don't throw your hard working money away at this dump. This is what they call corned beef hash and when mentioning how I dissatisfied we were to our server, she said "oh boy, this place has really gone downhill since the new owners took over" no apology, no offering to speak to manager, nada, she stood there with her iPad as I checked out! I stand corrected. I have dined at Biscuits a few times since my last review and I discovered something magical- their Champions Pancakes . They are made with whole wheat, raisins, granola, oats, and shaved almonds and they are absolutely delicious. A healthier spin on an all time favorite. I also order eggs over medium which are always cooked perfectly with a sausage patty and avocado on the side. That is my favorite breakfast and it's always perfectly yummy. They are now open for dining in and my fiancé took me there for birthday breakfast. We were one of the only tables there and it was magnificent. Mina was our hostess and was so sweet and wechatted with her. Julie who is one of our favorite servers, took care of us and always knows exactly what to ask ahead of time like she reads your mind. She's been working there for a long time and always takes great care of everybody with an incredible attitude. We only waited about 5 to 10 minutes before our food was served and we were in and out of there in less than a half hour. I had to take some of my pancakes to-go because they are so big it overflows the plate! One of my favorite things about it, though. Our breakfast was about $30, all in. They recently underwent some changes and I believe they are now called the Biscuit House. Mina let us know that some of the chefs are different but my breakfast was just as good as I remembered from before! My fiancé and I recently moved to the area so we are excited to call Biscuits or Biscuits House our favorite breakfast spot. read more

Used to be our place to go, I know with the covid-19 affecting everyone's business we try and patronage as much as possible. I discovered today that this location has been sold and a few changes have been made; new menu, new prices, new staff and a very different product. There's another location off of Elliot between McLintock and Rural that I would recommend. This unfortunately will be our last time coming here. Wow...saw the name and had to turn in. Whatta mistake, "the Biscuit House" served me two day old microwaved biscuits that were hard n tough. My BLT lacked any substance of the B and the L, with a couple slices of fresh tomato. $13 for two slices of bacon on some bread. The wife had Huevos Rancheros...ugh. Only thing fresh was the green onions. Can beans dumped over a couple of eggs with a tortilla buried under it all. So disappointed. Pretty hard to screw up even the basics. Not once, not twice but three times!!! the waiters interrupted our meal to top off a ketchup bottle n sugar packets. Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. This place was Biscuits for years, it was recently bought out and changed to the biscuit house. Since being bought out the food has gone way downhill. We continue to come bc I really like the champion pancake. Well today was our last visit. My son ordered a fruit bowl that had sliced bananas and mushy, borderline bad, blueberries. I ordered the pancake, eggs and the home style potatoes. The potatoes were cold and very old, inedible. My husband brought this up with the waitress who agreed with the blueberries, but argued with him about the potatoes. The final straw was their payment system forces you to give an 18,20 or 22 percent tip. So if you get garbage food or garbage service you still have to tip 18%. No thanks, we'll be taking our business elsewhere even though we have been coming here for about 6 years. read more

Okay I don't have any pictures because I wasn't going to leave a review BUT 1/15/2023 was the second time I tried The Biscuit House in several months to give it another try. The breakfast 'looked' good I had a Traditional Breakfast 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties with country potatoes, my fiancee had a cheeseburger with bacon and a fried egg lettuce, tomato and onion rings his burger looked good. The eggs, and sausage had NO TASTE none it was the weirdest thing ever .. I put salt, pepper and nothing bland like it was just pretty commerical food. I didn't taste the country potatoes because the potatoes looked soggy and I just straight up not appetizing. My fiancee asked for his bacon, fried egg cheeseburger to medium rare it was well done OK that happens maybe guidelines, but he said the burger had no flavor and wasn't good I never seen that man not finish a bacon, cheeseburger. No more tries for me. I really REALLY wanted this place to be good its close to my house, and would've been convenient. read more

I hate going off and giving few stars to a small hard working restaurant but when a spot is being called "biscuit house" I expect expectations to be above average. The biggest thing that earn them only three stars was that they didn't make their own biscuits. I tried the biscuits and gravy and again I was disappointed. This place is not "Biscuits" it either goes by "Biscuit" or "House of Biscuits". If you are looking for a good biscuit, I recommend the real Biscuits in Chandler. Came here with my dad last week for our weekly breakfast together. We both haven't been here in a few months. The prices they sky rocketed! I got the regular biscuit and gravy meal and I'm sorry but it was disgusting. 1st visit to this restaurant the past weekend...In front of Sam's Club. Family owned and operated! Very comfortable dining room with spacious tables. The breakfast items are served in large portions. Real fresh bacon strips...cooked perfectly. Blueberry pancakes were HUGE and delicious...with real fresh blueberries...not just blueberry syrup on top. The spouse had Spam & eggs...which was very good also. Clean and spacious facility. Friendly staff and service. Excellent food that is a little different from the typical breakfast/lunch restaurant. The coffee was extremely weak, the biscuits were tough and hard, we ordered the hash browns they were cooked in advanced, and left to warm on the microwave, thus rubbery. Let's start with the good. The food was very good, and they served large portions. I don't think anyone in our party finished all of their food. The bad: Service was below standard. The waitress seemed bothered to help us. Who knows maybe it was towards the end if her shift, or it was a busy morning, but we never received a warm vibe or even standard service. It was, take your order here's your food, check. That said the cashier, an elderly woman, was very personable, but I guess you have to smile after charging $71 for breakfast. Yes, over $70+ for three adults and two kids. $5 orange juice doesn't help, and not honoring the free drink for signing up with the club, left a sour taste in all of our mouths. If you are going to charge a premium price, than the service needs to be on point at the bare minimum. Verdict: Unless you just hit it big at the casino, I'd pass. There are so many other options in the valley that compare to Biscuits Cafe, for half the price. read more

This had to be one of the worst restaurants I have been too. It's obvious that the place has been sold and the new owners don't know American breakfast very well. I ordered the traditional breakfast with bacon and over medium eggs. Wanted the bacon crisp. The bacon was limp, the eggs were barely even over easy, sure not over medium and the toast was just white when ordered sour dough. The wife's wasn't any better. The waiter did not come back once and asked how the food was, but had no problem getting there with the check. This used to be a good breakfast place but not anymore. I joined a group of six for breakfast on Friday, April 8th. Our server, Holly, was friendly and very accommodating. She expressed an interest in our needs and was very professional. Everyone in the group was satisfied with the service and food. An exception was the cheese omelet, it was essentially scrambled eggs folded over with barely a hint of cheese. Apparently they toss a small amount of cheese on the finished product and call it a cheese omelet. Finally, the prices are exceptionally high, especially for a beverage. We used to frequent this place pre-Covid and it was always busy and had a wait. The name has changed and apparently the ownership too and it's not the same level of food quality as before. Just had breakfast at this place for the first time and let me tell you it's a great place. The food was excellent. My wife had the country fried chicken and I had the rib eye breakfast.
