The food was OK at best. This IS NOT a BBQ joint. They "braise" their brisket. Had a hard time getting in on a Thursday, but I guess if it's a college bat cool. Don't go for a meal.

I knew it was a bad sign when my dining companion requested a margarita and the girl behind the register asked, "what's in that?" Never the less we plunged ahead (sans margarita). The menu sounded fantastic, so we ordered a few appetizers, plus a pork bowl. We did order and pay separately, but within moments of each other. However, her food arrived nearly ten minutes before mine. I love fried cauliflower, and have eaten it at numerous restaurants. This was the first time I encountered it heavily battered, and that did it no favors. It was heavy, greasy, and flavorless. The shishito peppers were even sadder- those too were battered and fried within an inch of their lives, then drenched in cheese. We eat had one bit and pushed them aside. I wasn't aware it was possible to ruin chili cheese fries, but they managed to: flavorless chili over limp fries and cooled by a poorly executed green chili "salsa." The pork bowl was the least offensive item we ordered. It was forgettable but edible. We won't be back.

    Table service at Blind Pig

We had table service at the Blind Pig and had an absolute blast! This place is the perfect combo of club, food and a great crowd! The management was great to work with and they made it easy for our group to focus on the fun! Until next time.....

Amazing service. The pho is one of the best in Tucson. Would highly recommend coming here!

    Pulled Brisket Sandwich with fries

We visited the Blind Pig on. Saturday afternoon. It was very pleasant atmosphere for a late lunch. My wife and I ordered the fried cauliflower, the coleslaw, the pulled pork tacos, and the pull brisket sandwich. Over all the food was well cooked. The cauliflower was breaded and fried. The cauliflower was very firm. On the other hand the Cole slaw had a lot of mayonnaise and was very creamy. The pulled pork tacos had tasty pork. However there was a slightly bitter taste. On the other hand the pulled brisket sandwich was tasty. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere is good. We rated the restaurant 4 stars due to the slightly bitter taste for the tacos as well as the very creamy Cole Slaw.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My first instinct was to leave because there was no one else in the restaurant but we had already paid $6 for parking and were determined. Food was ok. The pretzel bun for the Brisket sandwich was actually really good...but it was cold. A bbq sandwich bun IMO shouldn't be served cold. The macaroni and cheese was a little too dry and plain No real brewed sweet tea...come on...BBQ and sweet tea go hand in hand, if you don't have sweet tea and you're claiming to be a bbq joint...YOU'RE NOT ‍ sorry The corn bread was the best part of the meal. $47 for 3 entrees, 2 cornbreads, and 1 soda...we won't go back. There are too many BBQ places in town to eat bland or boring BBQ

    Crispy Chicken Sandwich

I've been coming here for a while for their pulled pork sandwich that is absolutely delicious. The pretzel bun adds the perfect touch to the nice balance of pork and bbq sauce. Personally one of my favorites and a must have on the menu! However, I have finally decided to switch it up and try their crispy chicken sandwich and it's exactly what I expected, delicious! I will definitely be having this again and can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

So weird tastes. They put cheddar into chicken noodle soup and pepper into sweet potato fries. Not my taste.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We'd heard good things about this place and have been trying to support local downtown bars this summer, so we stopped in around 11 on a Friday night before heading home. As we sat down, we watched the bartender be pretty dismissive toward another group at the bar, so we were already a little unsure. We started talking about the decor because we liked the eclectic vibe. We jokingly pointed out that one of the pictures had a joint instead of a cigarette because someone in our group hadn't noticed. One of the bartender's first comments back, completely seriously, was, "I'm from San Diego. Have you never seen art before?" Honestly... what? It was such a weird, unnecessarily condescending response. I brushed it off at first as awkward banter, but it was a really strange first impression. The drinks were decent. The Loverlist was really good, and the Unicorn Fluff and Old Fashioned were fine. The bartender was quick to talk up their whiskey selection, but when we asked for a recommendation, she mostly gave reasons why she couldn't recommend anything and just kept saying they had "over 90 different options." Without a whiskey menu to look through, that wasn't especially helpful. We also asked for a shooter and were offered half of a cocktail instead. That would've been totally fine on its own, but combined with everything else, the service just never felt welcoming. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. I'd give the place another shot because the atmosphere is fun and has a lot of potential, but hopefully with a different bartender behind the bar.

I think the monkey bar, serves the most incredible PBR, maybe even in the world? ha, I got a chilled glass even! I think when you look at any map of Tucson, it needs to have a monkey bar on it. Because the monkey bar is definitely part of Tucson worth seeing. And I must go, tonight.

We came here because we wanted to play pool one night and Pockets had a tournament going on. We were originally 3 out of the 5 people in the bar (one bartender and one other dude who may or may not have worked there- but kept going into the back room). It was SO quiet which I found oddly unsettling lol. The only way there would be any sound other than our voices was to pay money to play music ourselves and I dropped way too much money to keep it going while we were there. Next, the bartender was odd to us...In some weirdly pretentious way. To be fair, we all do look young and people tend to treat us as such when we go out. However, he was so condescending about everything. I asked for a drink and he corrected me on how to order it-but not in a helpful way? More like he was annoyed with me. I turned 21 almost 15 years ago. I order the same drinks and have never been told that a bartender doesn't understand what I'm asking for- even if I don't use the proper bartending terminology. My roommate asked for a vodka redbull and the bartender made some weird comment about this not being one of our "hipster bars" like ??? I drink vodka red bulls in literal biker bars. We prefer smaller, low-key bars. It was such a strange and judgmental thing to say. He basically talked to US as if we thought we were too good for that place? Idk it's really hard to explain. But it left a horrible taste in our mouths. A couple came in a while before we left and seemed to be friends of the bartender- which somehow made the vibe even more uncomfortable. It's as if they all wanted us to leave. It's so weird to make your literal ONLY paying patrons feel so awkward and unwelcome. Dude needs a serious attitude adjustment. The a-hole bartender theme is out dated. That's just bad business. It's one thing to be busy and short with people when you're serving a full bar; that's usually expected, but you don't have to be a jerk to the only three people in the place lol.
