Atmosphere- I wasn't able to go inside but I can say the hostess that brought the food for the curbside pickup was super nice and friendly! It's located on a busy street so not much parking there. Food- I ordered the Donut Burger and Red Velvet Oreos. DONUT BURGER I'm going to start off by saying I am a burger connoisseur. I know my burgers. This patty was a decent quality but that taste of the burger with the donut was not great. I personally love glazed donuts but this glaze mixed with everything in a way it shouldn't and feels wrong. No chemistry between the burger and the donut. The fries were average, not bad but not impressive. RED VELVET OREOS These were AMAZING! I don't have much experience with fried Oreos but I figured I'd give it a try. I'm so happy I did because it beat my expectations. I'm actually sad I didn't buy two orders of this. Great job with the mix of the red velvet and the Oreo. Not thing too oily or wrong with this. It's a 10 in my book. If I didn't try to burger I'd give the rating a 5/5. read more

Stumbled upon this place because me and my boyfriend were hungry after getting my tattoo over at addicted to ink and loved this place. The atmosphere is great I love the decore and just the overall feel of dining here. The place feels very comforting and inviting. The food was good, I like that it's a little more casual as you are able to just scan the QR code and see the menu online and can even just order everything online if you want which we did. It's different than I'm used to because I've never been to a place where that was offered but it was nice to have the option. Will definitely be back! read more

Really nice improvement from the last business that used to be here. Blind Pig is shooting for a Speak Easy Vibe and it shows. Elegant decoration and fancy furniture. They have the bar area and a comfy lounge area that makes u feel u are a fancy house party. The staff have fancy uniform and were really attentive. Went with friends last night and was very excited to be going to what was described as a speakeasy. The drinks, food, and decor were all great. The problem was the music. The playlist consisted of late 1970s and 1980s pop. It destroyed the vibe that one would have expected and wanted. The music should have been 1920s jazz and/or big band. I want to give another shot being that so many close people highly recommended it. The ambiance nice is. They nailed the old prohibition speakeasy vibe! We didn't have drinks but we did order food. The pork belly boa buns, waygu beef sliders and truffle fries. All three were a bust. The porky belly in the boa buns was nothing a lot of pork fat and nearly no meat. The waygu sliders were cooked to death. They literally came out extra well done, which you should never do with actual waygu beef. The most concerning part is the fries. How do you get fries wrong?! The fries were so over cooked on both orders. They were harder than the table we were eating on. The service wasn't great either. We almost never saw The waiter and he could care less that we didn't enjoy ANY of our meal. We did not make a reservation so the only available seating was at the bar. The bartenders were great. All were friendly but in a low key way. The food was delicious. Good vibe - great atmosphere and good choice of music played at just the right level..we could still talk and enjoy the music. My star rating is so you'll read this. I almost never feel welcome, in spite of ordering a few simple drinks, which I've always tipped 5 to 10 dollars each...only to be hassled by the guy at the front door to the bartender I have to wait after getting looks from, mind you I've never caused a scene or been a problem anywhere and I also work in the bar industry. I don't expect special treatment, in fact, I expect the same nasty hassle every time I go. I keep giving these guys a chance. They've nick-named me a anti-LGBTQIA slur, make it seem like they're in a rush (the "owner") even though I've only ever walked through the door just to say hello and see if anyone I know is there. Never mind the staff who I've been way over tipping, the regulars are unapproachable. This seems to me to be the bar to go if nobody else in town would want to get to know you. The Blind Pig's new menu is top-notch. The Blind Pig is already known for its excellent cocktails so it's only natural that the quality of food matches. Their cozy-chic atmosphere and friendly, professional service makes for a great date-night spot or a place to grab a drink and relax. I had the Beets 5 Ways, Cured Salmond, and Duck Confit Ravioli. I finished the beets with a spoon to be sure to get all the crème fraiche. Cured Salmon was my favorite, the different dollops of citrus gel complimented the salmon very well. Duck Confit Ravioli (as well as the other apps) were well portioned and I left the meal completely satisfied. Service staff was lovely; knowledgeable about the menu and every detail/expectation of high-tier service you'd expect was met. I was early in the evening, but I don't think if I had come later the speed/quality of service would've differed. The drinks: I had the Garden Gimlet to go with the lighter apps and it was a guilty-pleasure 'green juice' and the white wine suggested by my waiter paired well with the duck ravioli. I have gone here during the pandemic and literally one staff member wore gloves and a mask. One staff member, didn't even bother wearing it all... while most just have it hanging under their chin. Ironically, my friend got told to put her mask on as she came to order at the bar.... note, we are talking to a mask less bartender, who asks her to put her mask on. Ashe replies with "and what about you?" And he just responded with, I don't make the rules. We left. I work nearby, and I pass this place everyday.... Do not go! firstly the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's good but other times it's not that great. I used to go here often for drinks and always hand a good time and good cocktails. The last time I went here they gave me and my fiends a very difficult time to get in and for no good reason. They ended up getting physical with my friends and pushed the door in my face and called me a fag. I have never been treated this way and was mentall hurt. Recently was very excited about visiting but the bartender gave us waters with food on the glasses which immediately turned me off. The bar itself is cute with its fake fireplace and all, but for 14 dollar drinks, the size of the glass is mini. So much potential, beautiful place but extremely loud, I'm only 27 and I was plugging my ears at times. When the music would lower to change to the next song it was a few seconds of relief. Maybe it's the type of speakers or that it's a small joint. The cocktails were good but at times felt like it was too little for $14. This place would be amazing for dates or relax time with friends but I couldn't hear our conversation. I know they worked at brazen but there are locals who are sick of Mamaroneck Ave bars after 6 years of going there being surrounded by drunken ass hats. What an interesting reinvention of space. A true trade up. I was a little hesitant at first. But after 20 or so visits, they nailed it. Some of the best cocktails I've had. And I've had a few. The celery gimlet from this past summer was indescribable. So I won't. But trust. It was worth the money. Which brings me to the cost of the drinks. They are not cheap. I never make reviews but I don't want this to happen to someone else. I went to this place a couple of weeks ago with 3 of my friends. We walked in as no one was outside and bouncers asked us to go back outside so they can check our ids. Flattered as I am in my 30's didn't mind. After being inside and having drinks for over 2 hours we had a hard time finding out waiter. We asked one of the bouncers and he said that he couldn't help to find our waiter as he was busy. No worries. He did ask someone to come to our table to assist. The bouncer then came back to the table and asked my friend to take his hat off. I thought that was weird as we had been there for hours and they saw us multiple times. The manger came to the table and asked my friend directly to take his hat off which he did instantly. I asked the bouncer why we were not told about the hat in the beginning when he asked for our ids he then verbally assaulted me out of know where possibly on something by his actions. He approached the table as if was going to hit me and then his coworkers came and grabbed him. We still paid for our meal as they did not offer to take of it. They apologized that is all! Please!
