After walking Rodeo Drive my friend and I decided it was time for a cocktail. We had hoped to check out Sidebar, but unfortunately it was closed so we headed over to the Blvd. I had a sidecar and she had the Strawberry Kiss. Both were very well made and worth ordering until you stumble out of the bar at closing time. We didn't order food, but I can't imagine that the food wouldn't be excellent given the drinks we had. The ambience was rather nice too. It was certainly upscale and had some of the stereotypical LA and Beverly Hills people, but it was much more laid back than either of us anticipated. It was a bit too chilly to sit outside, but the patio would be wonderful for people watching on a warmer day or if you're dressed appropriately for chilly LA weather. This is a place worth checking out, but if you're on a budget then I'd suggest avoiding it. Then again, if you're on a budget then Beverly Hills probably isn't a place you're going to enjoy unless you simply want to people watch. read more

Food: blk cod, over cooked n way to salty..... the blk cod was too overcooked my fork could cut it as slices. Steaks.... overcooked, med. I think the chef forgot the steak, aftet cutting, the top part is more cooked than yhe bottom. A med. Means inside is red. But the one from the blvd is like a cake .top part is brown n bottom part is pink. Upon arriving a the restaurant for afternoon tea we were promptly seated at our table with menus. From that point on the level of service and attention from the staff was simply non existent. We sat at our table long enough manager came over and asked if we would like to go ahead an order because he could tell we had been sitting with the menus at the end of the table for far too long. We gave him our order and expected that a server would be by to introduce himself. Our champagne, tea and finger food all came at the same time. At no point did the gentleman take the time to let us know what we were having, the items were simply put down and he walked away. At no point when we were sitting did anybody come over and ask us how we were doing, if we needed anything else, or even to clear away used plated and glasses. I had to ask a person clearing off a table next to us for our check. I have dinned at this restaurant many times in the past and I have never experienced anything like my service that day, nor would I ever expect to from a Four Season hotel. read more

Monday night, almost no one is there, as we ask for a nice table by the window at 730 pm the answer was "all nice tables reserved. " Three hours later after "nothing "meal and average service , we noticed that "reserved "tables were still unoccupied. As we approach the manager and ask him out of curiosity what happened... Stayed at the Beverly Wilshire for Vacation and had Dinner once and Breakfast (included a voucher as part of the room). The Breakfast is excellent and the selection and options they give you are terrific. I actually liked the Breakfast better than the Dinner. Although the Dinner was very good as well. The Place is a bit pricey due to the Hotel and Tourist that visit, but they make up for it with ambiance and service. read more

Came here on a Sat for some afternoon tea... The place is pretty relaxing and has great views of the street. There's also outside seating but we opted to sit inside. There were quite a few tables around even though it was about 3PM. You can tell that there's some wear and tear on the furnishings but overall the ambiance was pretty nice and the service was good. We ordered teas and coffee and shared a dessert sampler. There were 4-5 different things on the plate, but I don't remember it all. It was s chocolatety cake thing, an ice cream with berries and some others that aren't sticking out to me right now. Everything was pretty good and nothing was TOO sweet. This review is for the bar only. Went here for the first time this past weekend and I am in LOVE with this place. I feel like it's the ideal spot for a quiet night out. The atmosphere is quite romantic since it's dark and candlelit for the most part. Service was great. Everyone constantly checked in on us to make sure we had full drinks and bellies. We had skipped dinner so we just ordered bar food here as well. We had the kobe sliders and calamari. I could have done without the calamari. It wasn't anything great. Maybe average at best but the price was not average. However, the sliders won me over. They were so delicious! You get three along with a small basket of fries. The presentation was so cute. Yes, I am a girl that is easily won over by anything cute. The fries were so delicious. They are a tad pricey at $24, but so..so...yummy... Moving on...They have a live band! A live band that was AMAZING. I think this is what sealed the deal. They played Michael Jackson...Bee Gees...Michael Buble..Sinatra and BoB! Talk about variety. The pianist came around asking for any requests. However, they're right across from the bar and so it was pretty loud. I had to lean into the table and seriously speak up in order for the bf to hear me. This prevented me from enjoying my big, comfy seat on the couch side of the table. Come here if you feel the need to impress a date with price tags (which really should be never, right?). Cocktails are $18. I was not impressed with their hibiscus flower mojito for that much, but their springtime lemonades were pretty fantastic. Still wallet cringing at $18, but at least it's tasty. I went to THE Blvd for their afternoon tea and was disappointed with this LA landmark. I felt it was overly pretentious and overpriced. Service was very bad (we waited more than 10 min for a waiter to come to our table when we arrived and she barely checked on our table during the meal). Waiters were severely lacking style and class too. The food was equally bad. It didn't look/taste very fresh and was definitively not high end or sophisticated. In addition, the restaurant was quite dirty with crumbs everywhere on the carpet and even some seats. read more

I love the ambiance here! We had a party of 6 and the service was wonderful, no long waits despite how busy they were. The complimentary assortment of bread had something for everyone and was very fresh. I ordered and LOVED the delicious seafood salad made with lobster, diver scallops, octopus, prawns, pickled butternut squash and hazelnut oil on lush bib lettuce. Everyone highly enjoyed their meal. We went to watch the Oscars Red Carpet after some shopping on Rodeo. The waiter was ok. He seemed a bit matter of fact. Ambience and location are why you come. Friend had seafood pasta for lunch. it was really good. I had salmon salad. Interesting, because there were only two pieces of greenery. Rest was a fruit & vegetable combo. Pomegranate seeds, grapes, blackberries, red onion, and cucumber were in the salad. Salmon wasn't hot enough and a bit underseasoned. Took my daughter for lunch here for her 18th birthday. Made reservations online prior to my arrival and they were able to accommodate us right away. Excellent service, nice and polite employees. We both had the burgers, which were quite tasty! I had their signature Pretty in Pink drink (29.00 comes with a mini rose) and it was quite tasty! I would definitely recommend the drink. It gave me a slight buzz. The fries that came with the burgers were rather delicious! I got the garlic ones. At the end of our meal they brought my daughter a mini Cherry Rhubarb pie with a candle! Very nice touch to my daughters lunch. Don't forget to validate your valet parking ticket so they only charge you $16.00 dollars rather than full price which I believe is $29.00. We sat outside next to our individual heater. Outside seating is right on Rodeo Drive which I thought was pretty cool! Great for sight seeing and watching exotic cars rev their engines as they go through the intersection. read more

Wanting to try this place because I've seen it in movies, the actual restaurant or even lobby of the hotel is quite small. I really enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the restaurant as it represents high class and a good contemporary feeling. I was able to sit in a nice couch booth table with pillows. The food is expensive as expected being in a hotel in Beverly Hills. But I usually don't mind paying for expensive food if the food is worth it. This place however is not. It's borderline average unfortunately and I was really rooting for this place. The freshly squeezed OJ is nice but not for a small cup for $11. I ordered the London Tower for $35 and it was scrambled eggs, tiny cup of beans, a cold mushroom, small hash Browns, wheat toast with hard butter and one sausage cut in half with two slices of ham bacon! I've had Better breakfast food from other places for a much lower cost. The service was not outstanding either. Our waiter probably came to our table three times. I felt super fancy when I came here for brunch. Servers were really friendly and attentive. We even showed up an hour early for our reservation, which was on Father's Day, and it was so crowded because of the car show on Rodeo, but they still were able to seat us fairly quickly. They have a great drinks menu, their cucumber mojito was nice. Everything is overpriced, but that should be expected. I got the Truffle Brothers and it was the best omelette I've ever had. It was so filling, I took a 2 hour nap after. My table also ordered "The Pizza," which although was only a cheese pizza, it was actually really good. Someone else ordered the salmon salad, which was more like all salmon and no salad, but she really liked it. And we got the garden burger, which was ok, it was little dry and the fluffy pancakes, which were also decent. I want to go back, but I should wait until I actually start earning or at least let someone else pay. read more

Actually REALLY pissed off. I came here on Saturday for brunch. I come here quite often. Not really a fan of the food, but my boyfriend likes to stop here grab a bite and drink and then head to Rodeo to shop. This past Saturday we ordered a few items on the brunch menu and specifically pointed to the "Healthy Burger" under the Vegan items. 1 bite into the burger I realized it didn't seem right. I looked at my boyfriend and said are you sure this isn't meat?! He proceeded to ask the bartender and he said "you wanted the BLVD burger right?" UMMM NO..... My boyfriend asked for the menu and pointed out that we pointed to the "Healthy Burger" under the vegan section. All we get is an oops I'm sorry. 3 years of me not eating me is ruined after I my burger was incorrect. Not only that, but can you imagine what happens to a person who hasn't eaten a single bite of meat in 3 years. I was up all night not feeling well... Pay more attention!! read more

Second time eating at the place. First off very noisy when there are chatters plus the music in the background. I didn't remember this place the first time around to be noisy. And the high ceiling made it worst. Got the sirloin burger very well cooked and remain juicy at medium rare and nice touch on the Brie. The fries on the other hand is loaded with so much salt that those taste bitter. Mr Larry King was in the house today. He doesn't look as old as on his show. I guess bad makeup, bad lighting, and bad camera work will age you 10 years regardless. He looks good for his age. read more

Dine LA 2011 is (err was) in full swing. I was able to catch the tail end with a visit to The Blvd during my short stay in Los Angeles for the Chinese New Year vacation. The Blvd is located in the Beverly Wilshire, Four Season hotel, offer views of shoppers of Rodeo Dr. by day and the glamor of stars at night. The comfy outdoor seating offers voyeur in all of us something to see. The main dinning room, with the spacious high ceilings defines the hollywood power lunches. At dinner, I'd expect the paparazzi to be permanent camped here since Cut and the hotel are here as well. With all the opulence, expectations were high for the food. With our dineLA menus, I selected the Red Chile Tagliatelle - which is pasta with tofu to start with. The pasta was pretty good. But with my dislike for tofu, nothing was going make me like this. My co-diners had the Winter Belgium Endives and the Cappuccino. The Winter one was basically a seafood salad - which looked and tasted the best. The Cappuccino was chestnut soup with scallops, that had the best presentation - which looked like a big cappuccino. Overall, I think starters were the best. Next up, we had our entrees. Out of the Veal, Skirt Steak, and Halibut, I choose the fish. The halibut was flakey and tender, but lack the punch in flavor I was looking for. But then again, flavor in halibut isn't something its known for. I got to try the Veal, which was pretty good - something I regretted that I didn't get. For some reason, lately, I have had some good veal both in LA and in Shanghai. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the skirt steak. Lastly, we finished up our meal with desserts featuring a selection of the Lemon Chocolate Tart, the Torrone Parfait, and the Vanilla Raspberry Bavarois. I regrettably chose the Vanilla when the Tart came out. The raspberry bavarois was a bit too rich, but again that was my personally palate speaking. I got to try the Lemon Chocolate Tart which had a crust that I liked. I was expecting lackluster service and food according to previous yelp reviews but found everything here solid. Service was great. Food was great. No complaints there at all. Oddly tho in a restaurant that's supposed to feel nice, they've got the TV on at the bar. Which I found totally distracting and out of place. Because the bar is connected and faces into the restaurant. So your eyes naturally gravitate towards the big TV monitors hanging up above the bar. Takes away from the nice ambiance of 1000 red roses in vases all over the restaurant. read more

Friends and I finished dining across the street while in town on biz, and when someone noted we have a drink here, in unison, a few of us shouted 'Reg Bev Wil?!' F yes! So we scampered across the street through the very recognizable hotel entrance. (Note -- not much beyond the door is recognizable!) While none of us found our Richard Gere there were certainly several 'women" working it at the bar. There was debate amongst our group if they were women or not, but their dresses came straight out of Julia Robert's pre-Gere wardrobe from Pretty Women. While the old men hey were paying attention to did not mind the attention, no one was buying what they were selling. But, it did make for a highly entertaining evening! Good drinks, good service. I truly don't like leaving bad reviews as you will see in my history, but, BLVD was underwhelming. Highlights: people-watching, tuna tartar, tacos, timeless dècor. Lowlights: steak, pizza, dessert, timeliness of food. One server was great the rest of the staff was awkward. I asked for a steak knife once I received the steak but my coworker received the steak knife before, mojito was watery. I heard the pasta was good. The Blvd is the place to go for a bonafide staycation complete with delicious food and drinks. My friends and I took a lovely walk around Beverly Hills and had a 2:30PM reservation. The hotel and restaurant is so well thought out with all the Covid 19 restrictions right down to arrows on the floor directing you out to the restaurant. It used to be the valet drop off and pick up, but now it's a gorgeous, garden like setting and it made my friends and I feel like we were on a vacation and in another land. They even give you a special bag to hold your mask (which you get to keep)! Our server was Salvador and he was outstanding and so efficient. We had the Jidori Chicken and also the steak sandwich and everything was superb. The drinks were delicious too. Everything is of the best quality from the food to drinks to the staff. We had the most lovely brunch and will definitely return. The food was well seasoned and stood out as quite original. There were lots of other dishes we wanted to try so we will be back. Salvador and the staff were all so very kind and you feel like you have left all the troubles of the world behind to relax with amazing food and people. You will not be disappointed. read more

This place is one of my favorite places to have lunch. The spaghetti and kobe meatball dish is the best italian dish I have ever had. I love the bread assortment that they give you too. The mint ice cream dessert is the most creative put together dessert..they put mint jello, chocolate, mint ice cream in a fish bowl dish and top it with a round chocolate dish that says the blvd..it's so creative! The salmon, hamburger and salads are delicious! I have never eaten anything terrible here! read more

We came to the Blvd. for what we expected to be a 4 to 5-star restaurant for Mother's Day. The service was super slow, and the food was terrible. The menu was Prix Fixe and looked decent, but what came out was along par with Cheesecake factory, and worse - the food runner didn't even know how to describe the food as he set it down. And, when none of us really touched our food, the bus boy/server simply removed it and didn't ask why we hadn't touched anything. The food was plated beautifully, but lacked flavor and consistency. The service staff was dressed nice, but lacked polish. Most of the staff we encountered didn't speak English very well. I had to flag down the server (good service comes back and checks on you so you don't have to waive them down) each time my Mom needed a refill. I won't be back. We should have gone to the Four Seasons or the Montage. read more

Love this place! It's my neighborhood hangout for date nights as well as having drinks with my girlfriends. The music is a nice touch for a festive atmosphere. The food is a bit pricey but everything I have ever ordered has always been top notch and that includes the cocktails!!! The best Mojito in town. Service is stunning too. read more
