My husband and I ordered the catfish basket to go and when we got home to eat (8 mins away from location) we noticed the fish wasn't cooked thoroughly. It was such an unbearable texture/taste. Always busy. The good thing is you are able to get on the virtual cue beforehand. Do this for bigger parties especially. Yelp tells you to get there and check in at a specific time but that's not accurate. It told us to check in when we were 16th in line and we still had to wait a good 45 minutes. Just get here within 5 groups and you'll be fine. No need to check in. Food was not as good as I remembered but a good Cajun fix if you need it. Service is good. read more

We love boiling crab! Upon arrival we were happy to see the hostess', Teresa's, smiling face to put our name on the list. We ended up ordering the bag of (5) snow crab legs with potatoes, corn on the cob, and sausage added in with medium-spicy, "the whole shebang" sauce. My partner ordered the shebang-bang shrimp with crab fries. Everything was delicious, especially if you like food more on the spicy-end. It was my first time ever going to this location, we went right before closing so we did not have to wait long to be seated... When we got there the restaurant was still fairly busy and we were the last customers to be seat for dine in before they closed... This location has great customer service and excellent staff... Even though we were the last customers to be seated for dine in they did not make us feel unwanted or rushed to eat so they could close... They were very attentive and great ... I have tired other places similar to Boiling Crab but it is never the same... Boiling Crab is amazing!!! The flavor they use and quality of the food is the best !!! If you have never had Boiling Crab I definitely recommend trying it, they do not take reservations so there is always a wait for dine in, but I guarantee it is worth the wait !!! This experience was terrible. The service was slow and the staff was unhelpful. We ordered 2 pounds of crawfish and 1 pound of clams, and after waiting 40 minutes, we were presented with the wrong order. When we asked for the clams, the manager told us that we did not order and we would have to wait another 10 minutes for him to place the order. He then proceeded to check the notebook to see if it was written down and seemed to have more trust in the notebook than in us. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and the lack of trust in us as customers. We will never be returning to this establishment. The wait is ridiculous. We were told we had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes just to be told after asking after the time we were given to be waiting another 45 minutes. Did not stay. Very upsetting that we didn't get a courtesy text. There was plenty of seats open. read more

Came for a date night with my new man. Luckily we live close by so we were able to get on the waitlist while at home. Upon arrival, we checked in and waited another 20 minutes because the waitlist was inaccurate, which was fine for us. This place was very busy. So many customers and so many waiters. Where it went wrong..... I wrote my entire order out and showed it to the server. He needed only to copy exactly what I wrote. Somehow he got my order wrong. They brought out 2 extra pounds of something that I ordered only 1 lb of, but would let me keep it. I wonder if they threw it away or gave it to another customer. I hope they didn't just sell it to another customer. Then, they put potatoes in my food when I clearly said NO POTATOES! I was charged $2.50 for that potato that I didn't eat. Then they brought out duplicate orders but again didn't let me keep it. They took it back. I hope they didn't sell it to someone else. Then like 2 servers came over and asked if we got everything and asked who were the ones who brought out our food. That's not my problem. Check with your own staff... Anyways, overall experience was just okay. I didn't want to ruin my date night. We just enjoyed the rest of the night eating yummy food. read more
