Not my favorite boiling crab location, would probably drive further to go to another location like Burbank. When the seafood is cooked correctly, boiling crab is so yummy!! However my last visit here fell short as all our seafood was very overcooked. The crabs were hard to peel and eat while the shrimps were super mushy and small. They were also out of a good amount of items in their menu. The limes were the dry and juiceless kind. Nonetheless our server was super friendly and attentive to our table. Be warned! We bought 2pounds of fresh crawfish and 4 lbs of shrimps for a take out . When we got home we found out that the crawfish was not fresh and the shrimps were crappie. The crawfish was frozen because the meat on it was not firm and didn't taste like it was fresh .the meat was slushy and was falling apart it felt like its was frozen for weeks and the shrimp was very bad quality, the meat of the shrimp squishy and fell apart when trying to peel of the shells. So don't go here .. if you do check your order cuz they might give frozen crawfish for the price of fresh ones and check the quality of the shrimps. read more

Food was amazing! Wait time was too long. We had a large party so we had to wait a lot longer than many people who came later. We didn't have a problem with this until the hostess ( Roquel ) was rude on top of all the wait. She had an attitude. My grandson got tired after waiting so long and fell asleep. We asked for a couple of extra chairs to lay him down. Even though there were some chairs available, she told they didn't have that many chairs and when our waiter tried to get us a chair, she told him not to. A beautiful family sitting next to us felt bad and gave us one of their chairs. I find it so ridiculous that they don't have extra chairs in an establishment where I spent over $600 for dinner and always pay a lot whenever we dine there. I've been to half a dozen Boiling Crab restaurants throughout Northern and Southern California. My experience has mostly been decent. This is the first time I felt the need to leave a review for this restaurant chain, especially for this location, because of the horrific experience I encountered this evening. I ordered 3lbs of shrimps Uber Eats. I think it's okay to see a few mushy shrimps in an order. As a reasonable customer, I can accept that. However, when the entire 3lbs order of shrimps are mushy and have an overly soft texture, that is just foul and bad business. I highly encourage my fellow Yelpers to skip this restaurant. read more

Who has the sauce? I do not have the sauce. Where's the sauce? Here's not the sauce. How's the sauce? There's barely sauce. My friend and I ordered 2lb of shrimp, 1lb of mussels and cajun fries. This is my first time at this location, but I used to go to other location pretty often. I never made a complaint about the lack of sauce before at any cajun place and thats the disappointment here. There's barely any sauce to cover the seafood and if you want more you will need to pay extra. The main complaint is their mussels. Their reasoning is that it is measured and it's only enough to cover the mussels. I opened a mussel up and showed that there's not enough sauce to cover the mussels at all. This is a cajun spot and not offering enough cajun sauce is unacceptable. Thank goodness I did not order any add-ons! Service was okay. It took us a while to find our server, but they were probably changing shifts at the time? Casual setting. Parking at parking lot can be difficult during dinner hours. read more

They pick and choose whom to seat at the booth--it doesn't matter who comes first. The shrimp took forever. We finished our appetizers and everything, yet the shrimp still hadn't arrived. My husband and I ordered the catfish basket to go and when we got home to eat (8 mins away from location) we noticed the fish wasn't cooked thoroughly. It was such an unbearable texture/taste. Food is outstanding and service is excellent. My favorite is the catfish basket with lemon pepper fries and the shrimp with lemon pepper sauce. I'm not crazy about spicy foods so some of the Cajun stuff don't appeal to me as much. The only issue is the very long wait. Decided to have dinner here last week and wasn't very impressed. This boiling crab location is in a shopping center so parking is quite packed. When I entered the establishment it felt like chaos, the hostess seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with whatever she was dealing with, but either way, the spot was packed so we put our names down and I'd receive a text when my table was ready. The wait time was about 15 minutes, but I never received a text till someone said something to me. We seated and our waitress was quick to help us out so that was nice, I ordered the 1 lb Alaskan crab, 1 lb crawfish, and 1 lb shrimp, Cajun style mild, along with other small items like fries. Our food came in about 20 minutes but was very average. The sauces weren't very tasty and it didn't seem like it was enough. The shrimp was over cooked so when I was peeling it it felt mushy and just not very good. Crawfish was good! The Alaskan crab sadly seemed like it didn't have much meat in it so that was unfortunate. Overall, I wouldn't come back here just because the food seem very average, and I feel like this type of food deserves some serious heat and flavor. read more

We got a 1 1/2 pound shrimp and a pound of mussels. We got our shrimp with potatoes, corn, and sausages. For sauces, we chose garlic. I also ordered the fried catfish with french fries. The food was delicious! The garlic flavor paired fantastically with the shrimp. The juiciness of each bite was the highlight of this meal. I also loved the corn and sausages so much!
