An excellent, fast-casual, popular seafood restaurant featuring fresh seafood with a kick of cajun flavor, the boiling crab features some of my favorite seafood pieces such as shrimp, snowcrab, mussels and oysters at fair market value prices. The whole shabang is the sauce of choice in my opinion. Overall, not a bad deal for a delicious and hefty amount of food!

We ordered 3 pounds of shrimp and 1 pound of crawfish with Sha-Bang sauce. The sauce was still as delicious as always, flavorful, buttery, and spicy. Chicken wings were decent. Unfortunately, the seafood quality was disappointing this time. The shrimp did not taste fresh and some were mushy. We never had this issue before, but lately the quality seems to be going downhill. Many of the shrimp were also full of poop veins. I noticed the The Boiling Crab location on Main Street slices the top of the shrimp to clean them better, and the quality there has been much better. Another frustrating thing is their live crab and live crawfish are always sold out. It feels like they only stock very limited quantities. The wait time was also extremely long. Service was not very attentive either. We had to wave our hands multiple times just to get attention, and even then the server kept forgetting our requests. The Sha-Bang sauce is still the main reason we come back, but the seafood quality and service definitely need improvement.

It's Memorial Day and the place is packed at 3:00 PM. The food is especially good at all the Boiling Crab locations, but this location feels right, and there is so much parking, compared to the other locations. In this particular case, I was taking out, as I bought some shrimp myself, and wanted to use the sauce to try out on some extra jumbo shrimp. The spicy nature of their sauce can be had as none to extreme, so tried the mild on this first go around.

Run from this business! Disgusting- ordered 2lb of shrimp and it's all molded, this is not how you should run a business, if food were spoiled you should've throw them away rather than serving to anyone.

Long wait... just go to one of the surrounding stores and come back when the wait is done. I didn't see any additional sinks other than the ones in the bathroom. The food was good! Service was good. We got the house seasoning. They were out of blue crab and live crawfish. We ordered 3lbs of shrimp and crab legs. Cajun and sweet potato fries along with steam rice and margaritas. This was split among 5 women.

Listen when it comes to Boiling Crab, I am loyal to only two locations: Rosemead and Alhambra. Tonight I brought my brother here for his very first seafood boil ever while he's visiting LA, and of course I had to introduce him to one of my ultimate favorites! And WOW -- tonight's food was extra better than usual. The flavors were so on point. My shrimp were all big and plump, perfectly cooked, and the corn (which has been hit-or-miss for me) was perfectly sweet and juicy. I put my brother onto my usual order: * Half lb shrimp + sausage, Whole Shabang mild. * Separate bag with corn & potatoes, Whole Shabang no spice. * And of course, some lemon pepper fries as an appetizer! My only complaint? The fries took 5ever and didn't arrive until after our bags hit the table -- not ideal when your hands are already covered in sauce. But honestly, our server's personality totally made up for it. She was super sweet, attentive, and had such a great attitude. Love when the service matches the vibes. Just a reminder for the uninitiated: this location gets PACKED. Like, "2+ hour waits while you question your life choices" packed. Make. A. Reservation. Your future self will thank you. Another fantastic experience and a perfect intro for my brother's first seafood boil. This will always be one of my go-to TBC spots!

I hadn't been to this location in over 10 years, so it was cool to see what's changed. First off, they no longer hand out bibs or gloves automatically, but they do have them--you just have to ask. Other than that, the place looks about the same as it did years ago. We joined the Yelp waitlist and walked around the plaza, ending up with about a 20-minute wait at 6:30 on a Wednesday. As for the food, I still see Boiling Crab as the standard for Cajun seafood. It's never the absolute best I've had, but it's consistently good. We each ordered a pound of shrimp with corn, potatoes, and a rice to share. I got mine with the Whole Shebang sauce at XXX spice (which, in my opinion, isn't all that spicy). The food was tasty overall, though a few shrimp were overcooked and turned a bit mushy. Still, I left satisfied. Service was fast and overall solid for Cajun food.

Stopped by on a Saturday evening and joined the Yelp waitlist at 6 PM and got seated around 8 PM. If you're coming during peak hours with a party of fewer than six, definitely join the waitlist 1-2 hours in advance. Parking was easy with their private lot. Service was attentive, and the overall vibe was super casual. This is your classic seafood boil spot. They provide bibs and disposable gloves at the start. They're known for their Cajun sauce, and I would say it lived up to the hype- probably my favorite of the sauces. I also appreciated being able to customize the spice level according to your taste. My favorite menu items from the meal were the raw oysters, shrimp, clams, and sausages. The oysters were very fresh, and the seafood was well-seasoned and flavorful. The Cajun sauce was bold, rich, and savory. Garlic butter was a bit heavy but worked well with the potatoes. The lemon pepper was a lighter, zesty contrast- perfect for switching things up. The snow crab legs and Dungeness crab were on the pricier end and not particularly standout, so I would probably pass on these the next time I go, but if you're feeling a splurge, I'd recommend going for the fresh Dungeness over the frozen option if it's available (it's commonly sold out). I would probably pass on the lobster roll as well (one of their newer menu items), as the portion was kind of small and lobster flavor was subtle.

Boiling Crab already has a great reputation in SoCal, and this location definitely lives up to it. The food is super consistent every time : flavorful, messy in the best way, and always satisfying. Service is quick and attentive, with staff always checking in even when it's busy. The place is also clean and well-kept, with none of that strong fishy smell you sometimes get at seafood spots.

These guys do great business and I remember when it was only the one location near Valley and Garfield... Good flavors, long wait (possibly) so be patient and use Yelp online wailist to help.

The wait was atrocious for sure but the food is worth the wait. It was a 3 hour wait for a party of 12, so you need to make sure someone in your party can come in and put their name on the waitlist. The Yelp waitlist tracker is really helpful, so you can gauge when to come back. The customer service was amazing and we were always getting checked if we needed more sauce or water refills. The food was delicious and very filling because of the potatoes and sausages. I really enjoyed the Cajun seasoning and the sauce that the shrimp was presented in. It was messy work to eat but it was worth every minute. I would totally come back, but most likely I would go during opening to avoid the big dinner rush/wait.

Food was served in a decent amount of time, around 15 minutes. And all dishes arrived close together so we didn't have to wait long. The kung pao chicken is so good! Not spicy at all and very nice and crispy with good seasoning. It tasted delicious with some rice. The beef noodles were also delicious! It had good wok taste and was very flavorful. The tofu and shrimp were also good. None of the dishes were too salty and all were seasoned well and in pretty big portions, though I don't remember the exact price since they took the receipt away when we paid. I had to cross reference the numbers to the items on the menu to figure out which was what. Anyway, total bill was $222.00 including tip out the door. Averaged $20+ per dish. Cool beans! Scrumptious foods comboed with great service in cool ambiance is all worth it! Highly recommend. Yes, I'll be back soon!

The high ratings are what brought me here in the first place. My eyes always light up anytime I see…read morerazor clams on a menu, so I was excited to give this place a try. We were seated right away when we arrived, although it took a while before anyone came to take our order. We started with the sizzling razor clams, and honestly, they were the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and a great start. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and it really missed the mark. Several ingredients felt poorly prepared. The tendon was so tough it was basically inedible and had to be pushed aside. The pork blood tasted like it had been cooked separately since it had none of the broth flavor soaked into it. Even the beef slices felt out of place, almost like they had been pulled from a pho bowl and dropped into the BBH at the last minute. The broth itself lacked the richness, spice, and strong lemongrass flavor that normally makes Bun Bo Hue stand out. It just tasted flat. There was also a mix-up with our order when the wrong dish came out instead of the lobster. When the lobster finally arrived, it was badly overcooked and much smaller than what was shown on the menu. On top of that, the music was blasting the entire time, no one really checked in to see how things were going, and it took multiple attempts just to get our check. When we mentioned the food issues, the response was basically, "We'll let the chef know." Not exactly the kind of service you hope for after a disappointing meal. Really wanted to like this place, especially after such a strong start with the razor clams, but overall it ended up being a letdown.

We ended up getting a set for $168 this time, which came with 6 dishes. It's also $35 per lb for lobster, and I asked for the smallest one. Apparently, the smallest one was 4.8 lbs, which was another $168, so I'm not sure if they upsold me. Anyways, the food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. This is what I thought about the food we got. House Seafood Soup - Simple and clean soup. Good portion, and it was soothing to eat. Lots of squid. (4/5) Clams with Spicy Sauce - Large clams with tons of meat, and the sauce was fire. Always a good choice. (5/5) Crab with Salt & Pepper - Loved the seasoning, and the flavors were solid. (4.5/5) Thai Style Beef Stew - First time trying this, and it was good. A bit different, but the meat chunks were tasty and the overall flavors were good. (4/5) Sautéed Pea Sprouts - Nicely done vegetable dish. It's simple but refreshing with good flavors. (4/5) Fried Whole Fish - This dish was gone so fast because it was delicious. Nicely fried and not overly seasoned. (5/5) Signature Lobster - I feel like you have to get this here since it's their specialty. It's pricey, but in my opinion, it's the best and freshest lobster in town. Tons of green onions, seasoned well, fresh meat, and lots of lobster roe. (5/5) Service was good, and they didn't automatically add a mandatory tip for a large party. The total came out to around $364, which is pricey, but the food was phenomenal. Parking - Valet only, but they have street parking in front. I parked on the street since there were plenty of spots on a Wednesday, but I assume it gets busy on weekends.

We watched several groups get seated without even having a number while many of us had already been waiting for over 30-40 minutes. It was extremely unfair and disappointing to see blatant favoritism toward people with connections. This kind of management is unacceptable, and after this experience, I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

I usually place an order through their Instagram DMs a few weeks in advance for holidays. You can ask for their excel spreadsheet and they'll send it to you with prices and this same spreadsheet updates every year! There is also a little deposit for holiday pick up depending on the size of your order. Their sashimi platter is beautiful, fresh, delicious, and always a party favorite. I usually get: Salmon, Toro, Yellowtail, Scallops, and Oysters. If available, uni trays and fresh wasabi (which can also be picked up at HMart). Scallops are my favorite but every piece of fish is so good and cut perfectly. Parking and pick up is easy. It is a very small store front with one party inside at a time and pay at the counter. Highly recommend for party platters for fresh sashimi.
