We love the food and the atmosphere, usually, but it really depends on when you go for what kind of service you get. There are days where the staff is on point, knows about the beers, and understands if you ask for something out of the norm - a few of the more long term employees fall into this group. Then, there are days where I've had to explain the same thing 8 times and the person still won't get it (usually newer staff). Many of the waitresses don't actually know beer, which is disappointing since there are so many taps. Price wise, it compares to most similar venues, I think my husband and I usually spend around $40-60 each time we go, depending on whether we split a meal or not. They do have a beer club that offers points for unique beers and certain rewards for different points. The points thing is pretty neat but definitely need the app to keep track. read more

They have a large IPA variety, always something new to try and a small selection of sours on draft that I enjoy. On draft options are about a dollar more per pint than other local places with craft beer, but the selection makes it worth it. Because of the price, I'd stick with draft over bottles. They have unlimited mimo Sunday brunch, price is average for the area, but food is great! Highly recommend the sausage hash and biscuits and gravy. I'd like if they had a few more items on the brunch menu and more juices to choose from than just OJ, This would stand out in the area! They're a large chain, don't expect a corner bar feel. They did a good job making the patio feel warm and inviting. My boyfriend and I had been meaning to try this place out since it opened so we decided to stop in the other night before we headed to Sacramento. It was a Friday night so they were busy, there were no tables available unfortunately so we opted to sit outside next to a heater. Even though they were very busy we were greeted by a server quickly, but we saw two seats open up at the bar so we moved over there after placing our order with our server. We each tried two different beers, I had an IPA at first and then a sour beer. My boyfriend tried two wheat beers I believe. We both liked the beers we tried. We ordered Parmesan Rosemary waffle fries - delicious. And I got a flatbread and he got a pretzel pizza. Pretzel pizza was good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the flatbread. The dough was pretty thick and I like my flatbreads really thin & crispy. The bartenders were all really nice and timely with our orders. The inside is smaller than I expected, but it's still nice. Outside is very quaint & is probably a really nice experience when the weather is nicer. Well definitely be back - hopefully during the week when it's less busy. Checked this place out after a movie to catch up with some friends. First thing I noticed is how packed it was, not a bad thing. Means they're doing something right. Then we started the search for a table to seat 4 since the place is a bar and you seat yourself. What's awesome is they have a VAST selection of beers, ciders, etc. The staff also know their beer, and are more than happy to make a suggestion as to what might pair well with your meal or appeal to your tastes. Kudos to the staff they were all really nice and awesome! Only reason why I'm giving 4 stars was the food. If there's one thing I've learned, is you never go to a bar for the food. However a bar that is also a restaurant, then it's fair game. I ordered the tempura chicken fingers with a side of waffle fries. They came out fairly quickly. The chicken was pretty dry and needed a lot of dipping sauce for flavor. Waffle fries were good. The other members of our group really enjoyed the food they ordered. Overall a decent place. Today I had an awful experience at Brass Tapp. I joined my coworkers for lunch for Valentines Day, but due to dietary restrictions for an upcoming medical procedure, I brought my own lunch. I explained my situation to the waiter and the waiter spoke to the owner regarding the matter. I was asked to leave and had to eat outside in the heat as I had carpooled to the place and did not have my own car. The owner later changed his mind and invited me back in. I was so disappointed that I decided to finish my food outside subway and go back in to join my coworkers once I was done. Great craft brew selection, the number they have on tap is impressive!! Heretic Brewing seems to be their main brewery as they have a large selection from them on tap. They also have a a very nice selection of bottled beer as well. The food is a solid. I've only been once and had a buffalo chicken wrap....however my buddy and I waited waaaay too long to get it. We were in there just after 1pm, so on the downside of a busy lunch hour. It was real smooth with coffe notes on the back. Then had the Drake robusto porter on tap with the street fish tacos. The porter was smooth as well with nice chocolate notes.
