Excellent company to work with, and the cake was over the top. Believe it or not it tasted better than it looked, and we were amazed!

The Cake Lovers exceeded all my expectations--hopes and dreams included! They have done many of our holiday orders, and I always love their special menu items. Recently, they created two Stranger Things-themed cakes for my son: one for his birthday and one for his party, and both were absolutely spectacular. I truly cannot say enough good things about The Cake Lovers. Their talent, creativity, and attention to detail are unmatched. If you're ever looking for an amazing cake company, this is it.

I needed a cake for my daughters birthday. I did some research on Google. Read a bunch of different reviews from different companies. The Cake Lovers seem to have the best reviews I sent my order in through their website within about 24 hours. I received an email back starting the process. This was for my daughter's 40th birthday. I wanted it to be amazing. They did a lovely two tear cake for me half of it was confetti and the other half was cookies and cream. I had rave reviews from everyone at the party the cake was moist and delicious Customer service was fantastic. Instructions were clear and concise. I will definitely be ordering again. This is my new cake place! Also, I was excited to hear that on Thursday, Thursdays, and Fridays you can also go by the shop and just buy desserts that they've made for the day out of the refrigerator. What's not to love about that! As a disclaimer, I purchased the topper separately.

All I can say is WOW! I ordered a cake for my law firm's 25th anniversary and had a specific request that it look like the founding partner's desk and chair. The cake lovers are amazing! First of all, short notice and they happily provided an immediate quote and option. Extremely professional description of what they could offer. When the cake arrived it was the most artful realistic cake I've ever seen including distress to the desk and chair. The details were insane like a working desk lamp. Yes it lit up!! Best of all the cake was delicious insanely good. Butter chip best flavor. Will use them for every cake from now on!

We love this cakery! They have done numerous cakes for me over the past few years. I stumbled upon this company about 5 years ago when I needed a cake for a photo shoot I was doing. Since then, they have done every cake for every occasion. Each time, the cake comes out better than I'd hoped. I wish I could upload all of the cakes and cupcakes they have done for me, but I don't think there's enough room! I highly recommend this company without hesitation! read more

Such an easy and A+ experience! Nicole is beyond sweet and professional. I had an amazing experience with The Cake Lovers. I needed a last minute cake for a special friends birthday. I don't live in the same town as her, so I used Yelp to locate a baker. I was nervous about it, to say the least. My friend and I tend to be perfectionists and I was relying on Yelp reviews to help me pick the perfect cake baker. I wanted a classy, chic blush cake, with super clean lines. The Cake Lovers did not disappoint. She helped me design a lovely cake, and her suggestions made it look even more beautiful than I hoped. Most importantly, the cake was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it. I will definitely use The Cake Lovers again if I ever need a cake in the area and would recommend this cake baker to anyone. Oh em gee this place is phenomenal! They worked with us short notice because we never heard back from our original place we picked out and honestly thank god. We had a cake smash cake for my daughters 1st birthday and the following weekend a cake, cupcakes, and cake pops. We did flower boho theme and they exceeded our expectations with design. The details were just so pretty and perfect. But seriously let's not forget about the flavor...the best tasting cake I have ever had. Even everyone at the party were raving about how delicious the cake was. The cake pops lasted a whole 3 min they melt in your mouth. Highly recommend and will be using for future events. read more

Sensational!!! "Best cake ever", that was unanimous from a table of "foodies". These people don't waste their calories! I have never seen so many people go for seconds of birthday cake. Amazing! Most amazing artisan cake I've had in years!!! not only the decoration was beautiful and fun, but the cake itself was so moist and delicious, I am not a big fan of the icing but this was buttercream and i found myself picking and the cake and licking my fingers a few times lol.. Nicole is fantastic, very nice welcoming and over all extremely professional. Every guest who tried to cake was amazed and asked for the references.. totally recommended! read more

All I can say is that this is the best cake I've ever ordered from other customized bakery's cake. This is the best one by far. The taste was amazing. It was not dry, so moist. Everything I told them of how I wanted it for my daughters birthday party with the theme, they fulfilled all my requests. When I picked it up, It just looked better than I imagined it. The price wasn't so expensive as other places that I've paid even more, specially for the size of the cake. I will definitely order from them again! read more

Extremely satisfied customer right here! Let me start out by saying I found the Cake Lovers by chance on yelp. I work in the plantation area and one day I mapped out all the local bakeries to order a cake for my sons first birthday, from the results I found a couple reviews from the cake lovers, & I went ahead and I did some google searches and found their facebook page and I loved how awesome their cake designs were. I immediately sent an email out with questions and quotes and they replied with instructions --- because I have a nonstop hectic lifestyle I did all of this by email while out of the country. They were extremely patient with me and designed a cake exactly like the picture that I sent (I was expecting an approximation, I'm not that picky) it was absolutely perfect and it tasted amazing! (normally custom cakes are dry and taste horrible) We opted to pick up the cake since the last cake shop delivered the cake somewhere else and parts of it went "missing" -didn't want a repeat of that scenario. The cake pickup time was set for 2pm, and my aunt told me cake was ready at that time in the back of a local restaurant.. easy pickup process. I highly recommend the Cake Lovers to my friends and family and I will definitely use them again. Thank you Cake Lovers for working with me by email and on such short notice! read more

I looked at several places to make my birthday cake this year. For the last few years I have had all of our cakes made by Lovee in Fort Lauderdale. I love their cakes, but really just wanted to try something different. So after looking at several options, I decided to go with The Cake Lovers, primarily for their accolades. I sent a picture of a simple design and also said that I wanted Neapolitan cake layers. I picked up the cake and was happy with the overall aesthetic. The 2 main things that disappointed were the taste and the "Neapolitan" interpretation. I am admittedly a buttercream connoisseur. While I thought this would be a quality buttercream like Italian or Swiss meringue, I was beyond disappointed to find it was an American Buttercream. American buttercream is my least favorite, as I find it grainy and much to sweet. You can find American buttercream at the grocery story without a custom cake price. I get this is the best buttercream for decorating and maintaining a bright white color, and great for hot, humid environments. Though for taste I find it heavy with an unnecessary amount of powdered sugar. So this was the biggest disappointment - finding out that it wasn't a real butter cream. Secondly, I ordered the cake with a Neapolitan cake for the inside, which should've been vanilla, chocolate and strawberry cake. That was not only for flavor, but for the look. I wanted the Neopolitan, so that when you cut into the cake it was beautifully layered with color as the outside was fairly basic. Unfortunately, the cake that was used was a vanilla cake, a marbled chocolate -vanilla swirl cake and a strawberry filling. This in no way, is a Neapolitan cake. Moving on, trying to make the most of it; after cutting 2 pieces, I decided to remove the icing off the cake, which left very little cake as it was mostly thick layers of icing. The strawberry filling did not taste good and made the cake bit soggy. The cake was only tried by 2 other family members and neither could eat it or enjoyed any part of it. At this point got so frustrated that I threw the whole cake in the garbage, literally 10 min after the cake was cut. While I think her design work is quality, unfortunately everything else suffered. I will definitely not be going back to The Cake Lovers for any cakes in the future. read more

I love this place! I called The Cake Lovers to make about 25 cake pops as an extra treat for the kids that were going to attend our wedding. Nicole promptly gave us a price and said she would have it ready the day before the wedding. The cake pops were a huge hit at our wedding. Not only did the kids love it, but the adults did as well. I wish I could have had her make our wedding cake as well, but a friend of the my bride offered to make the cake and she felt that she couldn't turn her down. But The Cake Lovers are definitely going to be my one stop shop for anything cake...and cupcakes! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Cake Lovers l.

Nicole had a passion for art and baking since childhood. Her journey into cake making began in 2005 when she baked her sons first birthday cake, unaware of the path ahead. She created cakes for family and friends which thankfully allowed her to learn the trade. Growing up in the food and hospitality industry also guide her towards entrepreneurship. She takes pride in being self-taught. In 2009, Nicole officially launched The Cake Lovers. While the journey has been challenging, every moment has been worthwhile. In 2017 her dream of opening a cake shop came true. She now has an incredibly talented staff that are classically trained pastry chefs & cake artists. They are just as passionate as she is, and it shows. The Cake Lovers /Nicole was the winner on The Cooking channels show Cake Hunters in 2018 and in 2020 crowned winner of Buddy Valastro's big time bake. The cake Lovers is dedicated team looking forward to new successes and focus on community involvement.

With so many options it can be difficult especially when you have kids tugging at your side. But we ended up with Guava Bunn, a Classic Bunn, a Milky Bunn and some Churros. It took a while because the Churros were made to order. You had the option of sugar and cinnamon or just sugar on your Churros. There was only one lady and one fryer so it took a bit. But that's both the pro and con. Because those Churros were fresh and delicious. The Bunn cups were a little too much. The ice cream wasn't amazing. Tasted more like generic ice cream but with enough drizzle of any sauce you can make up for lack luster ice cream. I'd come back but I woulf stick with just the Churros and possibly also the sauces. The dulce de leche and guava were great. Just didn't think the ice cream was anything amazing. You might be better off with Häagen-Dazs a couple of stores down in the mall. But if Churros is your jam then definitely hit them up!

We had grace and forgave The Cake Lovers last year when they messed up the cake banner on the corvette cake we ordered. We didn't leave a bad review and still gave them a second chance this year due to their reviews and photos of other pleased customers. We were hoping to have a better experience and hoped to receive a beautiful cake like they advertise. Unfortunately during the first reveal the name was misspelled, Jackie said she could fix it and will be right back. My mother in law confirmed that she gave her the proper spelling of the name plenty of times and that Jackie had even written down so we don't understand how you could mess it up but we said ok no problem she's going to fix it. When Jackie returned and revealed her patch work we were disappointed once again. It was obvious she quickly printed out the name and slapped it onto the "custom plate" on the patron themed cake we ordered. We informed her that it didn't look good and we did not like how obvious it is. She once again said she could fix it but it would take half an hour. As everyone is aware, when you place these orders it's due to you wanting to celebrate a special occasion. We of course want the cake we ordered and paid for to look perfect and eye pleasing. We waited and instead of letting us see the cake inside Jackie brought it out to our car as if she was just rushing us to leave and not giving us an option to have her fix it incase we didn't like it. When I say this cake looks extremely unprofessional and HALF ASSED!!! I don't know how Jackie felt confident or comfortable letting a customer leave with a cake like that. It looks like she slapped printer paper on top of the custom plate and put a big ugly rectangle on the middle for the name. It looks horrible. Jackie knew we were extremely disappointed especially since this is the second year in a row and all she had to say for herself and the bakery is that she's not the one who decorates the cake and that the boss will call us on Monday to see how she can help us. What do you mean how can she help us??? The party is today and Jackie ruined our cake. What is the boss going to do? You already let the cake go. I honestly don't know how this company can advertise perfect work and then gives us disappointing cakes two years in a row. read more

Everything was PERFECT!!! I made a last minute request and they were very accommodating (others turned me and my Bougie Birthday requests down), so much so that they sketched my dream cake when they didn't offer the design I googled. Most of the time the cakes that are pleasing to the eye are not as pleasing to the palate or go bad (doesn't stay soft and fluffy) very quickly, but NOT in this case!!! The cakes & mini cupcakes looked GORGEOUS, they tasted BETTER than they looked even with buttercream frosting (sweet and flavorful frosting and moist cake that melts in your mouth), the cake did not harden when left out overnight (I prefer room temp cake), and EVERYONE LOVED the cake and mini cupcakes, which made it even more spectacular!!! Literally PERFECT, at room temp, and nearly perfect eaten cold!!! The treats that were used to decorate were not just edible but absolutely delicious (white chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate pieces, cookie pieces, etc.), and I don't really like macaroons but I like theirs. And the answer is YES, their cakes and cupcakes look and taste better than your best or favorite Publix/Costco/Sam's cake!!! Nobody has EVER surpassed Publix++ by such a large margin with such reasonable prices, greatly catered customer care (they provide more than a service, they care - they even found me a decorator, Aquarelle, who was AMAZING for my last minute needs), and high quality products that satisfy the pickiest of people. They have earned my trust and are now my exclusive cake/cupcake shop, also great location-wise in the heart of Broward County. read more

My boss of 16 years turned 75 this year (and celebrated his 50th year in practice as a criminal defense attorney). His birthday happened to fall on the week of our annual Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers annual meeting. This year we were in Ft. Lauderdale. With a crowd of 300+ of his closest friends and colleagues, I knew the cake had to be something special. I contacted several bakeries in the area. The Cake Lovers was the first to respond and were so accommodating. I was very vague with what I wanted as I didn't really know for sure. I told them a few of my boss's likes and dislikes and left it in their hands. The final product was beyond anything I could have imagined. They created a masterpiece! It was a cigar box complete with cutter, ashtray, and cigars. Every single piece was edible. The look was so incredibly realistic that upon being presented with the cake (after lecturing hundreds of attendees), my boss tried to open it as if it were an actual cigar box! I highly recommend The Cake Lovers. Every single step of the process was easy. They packaged the cake with care and allowed me to pick it up. I am a snowbird from Long Island. I spent several days searching for the most delicious BD cake for a relative who lives in Coral Springs. Attendees at the party have highly selective palates. They are the type that put a fork to their mouths to taste the cake and then push the plate away. What can I say but we have all been spoiled by the best-of-the-best in NY. The Cake Lovers cake was gorgeously decorated I must say. The "Cake Boss" couldn't have done it any better. However, the contents were more than delicious. This cake was delectably perfect! There wasn't even a crumb leftover. Wow, I am salivating and wishing I had a slice right now. Ordering was simple. My wishes were easily accepted. I ordered my friend's 30th birthday cake from The cake lovers. I was searching for places that do special orders on cakes and came across these guys. I emailed one of the owners the specifics of the cake. Let me say this, the service was outstanding. Coleene, one of the owners, was very accommodating, especially the fact that I placed my order three days before I needed it. Usually you would have to place your order about two weeks prior. I order the red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream filling and fondant icing. There were other specific details to the cake as well. The end results was a beautiful creation. The cake it self was delish!! Although the cake was beautifully decorated and tasty, the one thing that I really loved was the service. I seriously cannot recommend Cake Lovers enough. We used them for a wedding cake and they were AMAZING. They have so many flavors to try - not your typical chocolate and vanilla. And every flavor is to die for. We had them make a cookie cake for our grooms cake and it was the best cookie cake I've ever had. My husband and I ate leftover cake our entire honeymoon and it was worth every calorie. Their cakes are also GORGEOUS. While they are slightly on the more expensive side, it is well worth it. Nicole made an amazing custom cake for my boss who's the President at Grant Cardone Enterprises. Not only did she cater to all the details requests( big & small ) that I had, but the cake was delicious as well ! The cake was truly outstanding in every way!! It was my girlfriend's 50th birthday and they made a black Burberry shopping bag with white rope handles with a scarf coming out of the top in the traditional Burberry print standing up on a white base cake with a red bow around the bottom. Everything was made out of cake and fondant. The artwork was outstanding!! It looked SO real!! The best cake artwork I have EVER seen and the best part was the cake tasted as good as it looked. I did a google search and after reading many reviews, I called and spoke with The Cake Lovers. When I picked up the cake I met two lovely women..one being the owner. They were absolutely lovely. I can't say enough good things about this bakery! The cake was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and delicious, and they were so sweet and accommodating when I reached out only a week in advance. They truly went above and beyond with customer service, listened to my idea, and brought it to life even better than I imagined. The design was amazing and they nailed every detail. I wanted to do something extra special for my boyfriend and create a custom cake - I searched around and when I spoke with The Cake Lovers - they made me very confident in their craft. They replicated my boyfriends boat and added details such as his favorite brand "Life Is Good" to the figurine's t-shirt. This was def a cake he will not forget! I originally ordered a set of 12 cupcakes the Friday before the 14th. At first, I was unsure if I was too late to order cupcakes for my 27th Birthday. After filling out the online review, I received a quote, and spoke with one of the owners on the phone. The quote and transaction was swift, and I picked up my cupcakes yesterday. This was my 4th order from The Cake Lovers. Every year I order my daughter and son's birthday cake from this bakery and they do not disappoint. The cakes not only look amazing, but they also taste great. The ordering process was a breeze and they are very easy to work with. I never had any issues and look forward to ordering many more cakes in the future. I also had a chance to have their cupcakes for the 4th of July and those were also amazing. read more

On somewhat short notice, I needed a cake for aa very small, intimate wedding ceremony. The Cake Lovers came through in amazing fashion! The cake was positively gorgeous and looked exactly as requested. Not only that, it was delicious beyond expectations! Everyone absolutely loved it!
