Updating this review since it's been a while. I still love The Cheesecake Factory. We just went here for my husband's bday in August, & came back for my bday. They give you a free cheesecake for your bday. You can't go wrong on their cheesecake. We ALWAYS get the same thing. I know their menu is pretty big, but Chicken Madeira. Aka their version of Chicken Marsala never ever disappoints. We ask for the brown bread. It tastes so good and warm and is simply addicting. We split the chicken madeira. The size of the plate is definitely splittable and we appreciate that tons. Also extra sauce on the side is a must so we can have all the goodness. This is the best. They don't split the plates here so we do it ourself. It's no big deal but I thought they use to. No biggie. Now for the cheesecake, that's where I try to change it up. This time I got the triple berry. It's good, but i wish it was more berry flavor. It is a mix of some berry flavor, white cake with a tinge of Lemon flavor, and more plain cheesecake. I want lots of berry flavor. My husband, for his bday always gets the Very Cherry Ghirardelli Chocolate Cheesecake. We love this one. It's so good, but I always want to try something different. I eyed the mango lime cheesecake and coconut pie cheesecake and pineapple upside down cake cheesecake which I may have had that one in Sarasota. Service here is always great! Also reservations can be made as well which we did and got seated earlier so that was nice. Ambiance is cute and reminds me of some Disney restaurants. Can't wait for the Cheesecake Factory to open by Tampa Outlet Mall in Lutz/Wesley Chapel. That will be closer to home and we will be there! The open in November 2025.

My Dad is a huge lover of cheesecake so naturally he LOVES The Cheesecake Factory. Honestly, I think he would be okay even if we didn't order actual food and just ordered one or two pieces of cheesecake. LOL. His only problem is going through the large menu options of different cheesecakes. It is not only just the cheesecake menu that is extensive, their food menu is as well. I think they could cut some of it down to be honest as it's sometimes overwhelming to go through all the pages. I have never had any issues at this locations but as it is a chain, I have at others so I'll just stick with this one when the cheesecake bell rings for my Dad and I to have a little date.

1 star off for service. Went in the other night to redeem my free birthday slice. The waitress was busy chatting up another patron and took forever to come and greet us. Then she took another forever to come back and get our order. The cheesecakes came out fast sand were delicious. The ambiance at Cheesecake is like any other restaurant. Wasn't crowded, sat immediately in the bar area. A little chilly, had to button up my jacket while eating.

This Cheesecake Factory is okay.... The service was also pretty slow I ordered the Mac and cheese balls which were crispy and delicious! The southern bowl on the other hand had NOTHING southern about it. It was very bland with no flavor. The mash potatoes had the skin in it that was pretty tough to chew on... highly disappointed. I can see why this bowl isn't too popular on their menu. Not pictured also tried the raspberry lemon cheesecake that was also not the best. Will try a different location

Considering the menu is HUGE, the food is always spot on. I'm giving a 4 because I had made a reservation and luckily I took a pic of my confirmation. They said I did not have one grrrr. They need to work that out. Service at my table impeccable. Ambiance is corporate so it's hard to be special when you're corporate.

Visited yesterday for brunch. Amazing service! Ambiance was chill and inviting. Had the breakfast combo. Food was delicious! Drinks were tasty! Will definitely return for another visit in the future.

I used to think that The Cheesecake Factory was a restaurant with a large menu with nothing healthy so I didn't dine here for so many years. I was so mistaken by my recent visit. I made a reservation for dinner for my family with grown kids and 2 grandkids. We were promptly seated and menus placed on the table. They have a few menus to choose from and all are pretty expansive. We started with bar drinks that were delivered very quickly. Then we started with a few appetizers. The Chicken pot stickers looked over cooked but they were delicious. The dipping sauce had a great flavor. The hot Spinach and Cheese with tortilla chips wad a very generous portion for all to share. Even the kids loved it. I ordered the Chicken Shwarma Pitas which was a very big portion. Not sure how they expect one person to eat all that food. Everything was so fresh and enjoyed my leftovers the next day for lunch. My husband and DIL ordered the Tomato Basil Pasta with grilled chicken. They both loved it and for being on their lighter menu, they both said the portion size was perfect. My son had the Cuban Sandwich and the bread was not true Cuban but it was very good and almost 15 inches of bread and meat. Definitely a sharable entree. Since we were celebrating my grand daughter's birthday, we ordered the Birthday Cake Cheesecake for dessert and our wonderful server comped out the slice which was share with my grandson so he didn't feel left out. The S'mores Cheesecake was really good and it too was shared with the table since it was such a big slice slice. The menu is so expansive and the entrees are so big, I suggest going as a group of people who would enjoy sharing with the table. There really is too much to choose from.

A great server can be what takes your dining experience over the top and our server, Ambria, did just that, she couldn't have been more nice, what a great personality she has, and was more than helpful with suggestions that we asked for. Strawberry lemonade, cheeseburger spring rolls, asian chicken salad , a regular, and one from their light selection menu, and a lunch chicken piccata. A original piece of their great cheesecake was shared because we were to full to have one each, but could not get away with at least a taste...

We had a reservation for 12:45 on a Sunday and we were seated immediately. Our server, Jordan, was wonderful and our food came out within 15 minutes of ordering. AC was cranking and the temperature was perfect. I always loved the food and that was no different

Came here for a work lunch. I enjoyed the food and the cheesecake. I got the shrimp tacos and they were yummy and the portions were huge. The candy cane chocolate cheesecake was excellent! My only complaint is that the service was a little slow.

Yikes. I need to remember to just stick to the apps here. I came here for the free slice of cheesecake with purchase. Entrees questionable. Has a funky taste...possibly due to all the extra toppings: brown sauce, crunchy coconut flakes, & everything bagel seasoning in a curry entree is odd. Service is very good. The restaurant is clean. Slice of cheesecake ranges from $11.50-$12.50. The chocolate ones are worth it. The non-chocolate ones are dry & questionable. Next time, I'll stick to just ordering apps & a chocolate type cheesecake.

The cheesecake is always delicious!! Can't go wrong with the Tuxedo cheesecake. I didn't like the parking/traffic situation for this particular location.

This place is fresh and healthy and makes you feel good about eating good. The first time I was here, it was a gorgeous "Florida winter" day so we sat outside-lunch on the large patio. This time, with a different group of friends, we were inside-on a Saturday evening. Glad we had a reservation. Because it was bustling and humming. But the vibes were still happy and healing. (As were the cocktails! The spicy pineapple margaritas are fantastic!) My fiends each ordered something different: a burger for one, a salad for another and a pizza for yet another. They were each delighted with their choices. I went for two appetizers: the charred cauliflower... which was excellent (those dates!) and a seasonal butternut squash soup that was unforgettably good-it satisfied both stomach and soul. One friend savored a Manhattan and two were all into the lavender matcha. Four completely different palettes but the same happy feeling. This was a good choice (thanks, Michelle) True Food Kitchen prides itself on fresh, quality ingredients and you can taste it. The menu isn't huge, but the variety is good and the flavors are tremendous. The interior is bright, with lots of windows and interesting seating. It was a little loud in there, but that's to be expected on a Saturday. I don't remember if there were desserts-we were so full, I don't think we even looked. I owe it to myself to go back and check. Midtown is so easy to park at (free garages!). And you can walk off your calories at the nearby shops (sadly, William Dean chocolates is closing this location, soon) I'll be back soon!

The food on the special Valentine's Day tasting menu was decent but they messed up our order then simply removed from the exact same plate the meat that we did not want leaving small pieces of the meat and sauce on the salad. I consider Ponte to be more upscale and not pretentious. It is one of the better restaurants I've been to in Tampa Bay. The bread options were splendid and quite toothsome. Our early evening dinner was fantastic. Excellent service, excellent food and everything we would expect from a fine dining experience curated by the family-owned The Ponte Group. We're big fans of On Swann and Olivia and have had Ponte Modern American on our list for a while. We arrived to Midtown and were ready for our dining experience. We received a friendly welcome into the light and airy entrance. We were escorted along white cloth covered tables to the spot where we would dine. Our server was around quick and started on drinks for us. The cocktail menu offers classic and modern versions of some of the most common drinks. I love an old fashioned and opted for the "modern" version. Instead of bourbon, it was made with Japanese whiskey, kokuto, which is considered to be the world's healthiest brown sugar and black walnut bitters. It had depth and flavor and a flair that made it stand out compared to the classic drink. My wife had a mocktail. It was light, sweet and hit the spot she said. We didn't order any starters but a man with a variety of fresh breads came around multiple times. He offered up as much as we would like, everything from sourdough to focaccia and beyond. My favorite was a black olive sourdough. The Chef also sent out a small espresso cup filled with his signature mushroom soup. At first a little confused, I eventually got bold with it and sipped this like I was sipping coffee. It was really good. Thick, rich and flavorful. The white mushrooms and earthy truffle creme made this a hit. I could have had a whole bowl of this but soup just isn't my go-to. Between the cocktail, bread and soup, this dinner was already starting out pretty fantastic. For our mains, I got the house specialty Beef Wellington. My wife got the boneless short ribs entree. Our food arrived and we were ready to dig in. Like most elegant dining experiences, you can expect top notch food, smaller portions and a focus on presentation. My Beef Wellington was served medium rare. It was wrapped in salty prosciutto, mushroom duxelles and had a little extra depth, foie gras. The duck liver added texture and a buttery flavor that melded with everything well. The earthy minced mushrooms had an array of pointed subtle flavor. I appreciated the classic take on a classic dish, that had a hint of flair that worked so well. The red wine demi glas was an excellent dipping sauce and added to the overall presentation with it's dark red smear on the plate. My wife highly enjoyed her short ribs. The tender beef was rich in flavor and paired well with pureed potatoes and an apple slaw garnish for a hint of sweet with a little spice. We also shared a side dish. The campanelle mac and cheese. This was rich, creamy and an excellent Mac and cheese side that we would definitely get again. While we didn't order dessert, they did send out three small sweets. A mini key lime custard, dark chocolate and a small chocolate chip cookie. All of them were sweet and tasty. A nice little finish. Our dinner at Ponte was great. From the service, to the food, to the ambiance and experience, all maintain that level of elegance and modern that make it what it is: a restaurant you should eat at.

The space is big with lots of natural light coming in which I loved! Bathrooms: They have restrooms for men and women. The women's restroom had two stalls. The bathroom was pretty clean. I didn't like the coloring of the bathroom, it would make me crazy if I had to sit in there for a long period of time. Service: The minute we walked in, we weren't greeted by anyone and we just looked around because we'd never been here before. It took about a minute or two for someone to help us get a table. The rest of the service was good overall. Our food came out quick. I do wish the happy hour options were explained to us when we sat down, we had to ask our waiter to explain it to us. Food: I'd say overall their food is good, it's not the best I've had in Tampa. If you want to come for a decent brunch and drinks this is a good spot. We tried the 'potato latkes' as an appetizer which was really good. I had their 'Smashburger' for my entree which was good, but I've had better. I did like their fries. The drinks were the best part! I had their 'Pink Hugo' which was really good and my friend had their 'Green Machine' which was delicious. Overall the food was good, but nothing amazing to me. Maybe I didn't order the right thing. I'd be willing to come back and try their brunch options as that seems to be what people like the most. Overall, it's a good place to come for lunch with a friend. It wasn't super busy on a weekday, so you don't need a reservation. The prices are decent, but everything in Tampa is more pricey now. **Parking Tip: they have a VERY small parking lot for customers behind the building. There is a larger gravel parking lot behind the building where you have to PAY to park. It was around $6/2 hours, I'm not sure if it's more expensive at different times. Try to look for free street parking in the area if their free lot is full before going to the paid lot! Or if you can car pool with friends do that!

The carrots weren't exactly crunchy, but they weren't exactly cooked tender. They were definitely a weird texture. We were seated at a super small table so it made for an uncomfortable situation with so little real estate available. Also the place looks like it's converted from a garage or something with metal walls and roll up doors that made the sound bounce around. The service was nice. We were well taken care of but they seemed to be spread thin because getting refills and getting our check took a bit longer than expected. One ssue was that the menu was very different from what was online via Google. I should have gone to their website I guess, but several items were not available and the filet I was so excited for had a very different set of items. No Brie au gratin potatoes or braised rainbow chard, citrus gremolata and a fig chutney. Now, let me say that my filet was delicious. I loved the sauce and the asparagus was good but for me, the potatoes were super underwhelming. A nice sauce or something would have made them better. They just tasted bland, were really dry and lacked any flavor. My wife expected the lamb or pork chops, they were both not on the menu. She got fish and chips which she really enjoyed, so it was a win. The Asian wings were our appetizer and were delightful too. Now the only real negative for us was the noise. We got there at 5:30 and it was fine. But as more people came in, the sound bounced around so bad that it became almost unbearable for me. I wanted to go so bad because people laughing and talking made my head hurt. Would I go back? Probably not. I didn't enjoy how loud it was. The food was very good though, so perhaps takeout would be more my speed. We had a nice meal and my leftovers were delicious later that evening.
