I went here a couple of weeks ago on a double date and went outside of my usual order to try something new! I ordered three appetizers instead of a meal: chicken and biscuits, shrimp, and I can't remember the name, and the Asian chicken nachos. The biscuits and chicken was just okay, the shrimp was good. I wasn't happy with the lack of toppings on my Asian chicken nachos, so I asked that they add the missing toppings, which they obliged. It was a lot of the wasabi sauce when the nachos came back out, but thankfully it's not a super strong sauce like you would think. I do think that there is a perfect balance for the toppings, which could probably be achieved if the time is taken to ensure meal is plated well. I'm glad I got to try some new items, but I don't think I would order either of them again. My husband's Korean fried chicken was really good though!

We came in to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and even with the service being a little slow, we still had such a good time. The food really carried the night honestly. The fried pickles and cheese crisps were perfect starters, and splitting the Americana burger was the perfect amount of food for us. We finished with the Oreo cheesecake, which was absolutely worth the hype and made the birthday feel extra special! They even brought her a candle and birthday sundae on the side. Overall, great food, fun atmosphere, and a sweet way to celebrate my girl. Cheers!

We've been here plenty of times and had great service but this time 1 star is 1 stars too many. This was a horrible experience. Starting with a flat soda and when I advised our server, her response was to bring me another soda even though I told her that it was because the co2 was out. When we received our food, my hamburger did not come as I ordered it and was not fully cooked, and there were brown spots in my salad, when I told my server about it, they brought out a new that was still not made the way I asked for. The inside decor gives off the feeling of a nice fine dining restaurant. The server needs to learn listening skills and patience. It may be a while before we go back, if ever.

We dined here as a party of 12. We ordered a variety of foods for adults and kids. All our foods were delicious, however a few of our pasta dishes could've been hotter. I ordered the Housemade Soup followed by a meal sized Caesar salad. Of course we couldn't leave without ordering a cheesecake to go. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and our server was great.

In the low cal menu, Tuscan chicken was delicious!

It's the Cheesecake Factory- huge menu, lots of choices for everyone, fair quality, average chain restaurant. This time around we went for lunch and ordered the herb-crusted salmon (average- the sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes were the best part) and the smash burger (pretty good, according to my partner). We also shared the appetizer asparagus which was nice, but nothing special. We skipped dessert and that is probably the best part of the Cheesecake Factory, so that's our bad. We had a gift card to spend- next time we'll just come for the slices of cheesecake

Overdone chicken fingers. Had a burned taste. Not the usual CCF standard!
    Kevin C.

Food-ordered the chicken fingers dinner and it came with mashed potatoes and sweet corn. I have attached a picture of the chicken fingers. From my perspective they are burned or way overcooked. You look and decide what you think? I've ordered takeout from CCF many many times. Never had any problems or issues. Everything else was wonderful to include the red velvet cheesecake, yum! I live far enough away that I am not going to return to show them these. I'm also not going to start inspecting the food at the restaurant before I depart. Hopefully this is a fluke. Yelp on and get ya some!

Cheesecake Factory brand is having very stable food quality standard even though some times some locations might not given a consistent food quality, but overall food quality n quantity do have a tasty n delicious level and people do go for a casual American cafe dining especially having a cheesecake there or to go!!! Services were good enough and standard of services level! I love those different favor of lemonade drinks!!

The restaurant is always pleasant to the eyes. They have low lighting inside. Noise level was OK. Food was great appetizers were delicious. We had this new appetizer that is a jalapeño and chicken deep fried. Goodness that was amazing and then you can never be disappointed by their fried mac & cheese balls and my daughter ordered the chicken Parm pizza style, which is a massive and very delicious pasta was a little on the dried side. The service was just OK. I don't know if the waitress had too many tables to tend to, but we seem to be waiting a long time for everything even just the waters.

Came in on a Thursday night for dinner and wanted to try something new. I was not expecting the pizza of chicken to be so good! Omg. I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was so nice too. Gave us extra bread and was attentive to our needs. Place wasn't busy and it was nice. Love coming to this Cheesecake Factory! Always the best service.

I haven't tried any of their cocktails yet, but some of them sounded amazing - especially the salty snack. Cocktail bars in Tucson, we need more savory and salty cocktails! I will definitely be trying it next time I go. As for the food, it was good. We started with the grilled artichoke with aioli, and that was awesome. The aioli was fresh and slightly garlicky. For my entree, I had the fish and chips, which seems to be one of the most popular items here. The fish was haddock, not your typical cod, and it was juicy with a good fry. No complaints, except that the batter could have been a little thinner. I was disappointed by the fries, though. They were a bit limp, not really crispy at all, and lacked flavor. For a dish called fish and chips, I'd hope the chips would be just as good as the fish, so that was definitely a letdown. The star of the show for me, however, was somehow the COLESLAW - it was amazing! Perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and a bit savory, not too heavy on the mayo, and they use cilantro in it (?!?!) -- which I've never seen done before, but it was actually so good. The herbaceous flavor of the cilantro complimented the coleslaw perfectly. Next time I make coleslaw myself, I'm taking a page out of their book and adding cilantro. I also had an oyster. It was very fresh, briny, and slightly sweet, all of the things you look for in a good oyster. I enjoyed the mignonette and the fresh horseradish that came with it as well. I only ordered one, but it was honestly pretty small. I know that smaller is usually better in the oyster world, but this was about the size of a half dollar. Hopefully they source some slightly bigger ones in the future. Overall, I'm appreciative of the concept and another spot in town trying to serve interesting cocktails, oysters, and entrees, but hoping quality will improve in a few areas. I will be back!

It was a smash cheeseburger on texas toast, fries and one big chicken tendy. I got the special to try their burger for the first time and save some money. I'm not usually a fan of having my burger smashed but this one was hitting the spot. It had a slice of American cheese and their cowpig sauce. Very tasty I must say. I found myself dipping it in more sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy, they kinda remind me of McDee's fries and were just as good. The tendy was huge and crunchy and served with a side of ranch and cowpig sauce. I also enjoyed the "jams" they were playing. It was some old school 80's and 90's hip hop and R&B bangers. The bar itself is very small but you can sit out in the back if you need more space. Although I didn't drink this time, it appeared that they had some really good beers on tap as well. That whole St. Philip's area always has a great energy, and UPH is a big part of that. The grilled chicken sandwich is my go-to and it's good every time. We both usually get one, and a lot of the time we'll add buffalo wings, which are some of our favorites in Tucson. Good flavor, good texture, and always reliable. If anything, the wings could always use a little more sauce, but they're still one of the better orders on the menu. The only real issue, and it happens pretty often, is the service speed. Everyone there is friendly, but the place always feels understaffed, especially when it's busy. We've had multiple times sitting outside in the Arizona heat where it takes 15-20 minutes just to get water to the table, and you start wondering if you should go up to the bar yourself to get things moving. Once service gets going everything is fine, but getting that first round of attention can take longer than it should for how often this place fills up. Even with that, we keep coming back. The food is consistent, the atmosphere is great, and the plaza has a real sense of community that makes it easy to hang out there for a while. I ordered a small combo plate of ribs and sliced brisket (sliced with the grain and not cross it as it should have been) and my sides were greens and coleslaw. I did not see the sign that said all of their meats were sauced, but if I saw it, I would not have had them put sauce on anything. As someone who smokes a lot of food, when I taste meat, I want to taste the meat and the seasoning and the smoke itself. The ribs and brisket were very tender, but all I could taste was the vinegar in the barbecue sauce. It completely ruins the meal for me because if I wanted to drink barbecue sauce, I would've asked them for a side of it with a straw. I did not taste the meat, I did not taste the seasoning, I did not taste the smoke. I also believe that if a pitmaster floods their product with barbecue sauce, they are hiding something. So I can't tell you anything about the meats other than everything tasted like barbecue sauce. For the side dishes, I got the coleslaw which was tasty and the greens. You can see the picture I took after I finished the greens and it looked like I had a cup of soup. I don't know why they wouldn't drain the water out of the greens. Since I was the only one in the restaurant, I was also surprised that nobody came up to me and asked me how the food was. They were all busy on their phones or talking to each other than to check with one of their paying customers if they were enjoying their food. The place itself, physically, I liked because it was a hole in the wall type atmosphere. I don't think I would've chosen contemporary hip-hop for my guests to hear. So that's it, I'm giving it two stars only because the tenderness of the meat, but definitely not because of any other flavoring I tasted. I also felt it was extremely overpriced for the portion size. I tried it, now I can write a review and know that I will never go back again.

My wife pulled out her trusty phone, where she soon was directed to the highly-rated Raptor Canyon Cafe. So off we went. A warm and sincere greeting was the first of many pleasant things that we would experience in the next 45 minutes or so. The attitude and warmth of the staff here is exceptional. One really feels appreciated and welcomed while here. (*at least, my wife and I did) The place is decorated with a cute desert-Southwest vibe. A large building-sized mural of Father Kino mounted upon his rock-pony, is framed by the cute windows that look out on the quiet downtown streets. "Comfortable, with a slight splash of a mid-1970's Tucson cafe" is the energy I felt as we dined. One of my favorite things in the place is a steel-welded hawk figurine that is perched above the stately kitchen door. I imagined him tapping gently as he sat above the busy floor. And quoth the raptor, "The quesadilla is fy-orre". (Yes, I know, "floor", and "fire" don't really rhyme.) I never said I could spit fire (street lingo for being able to rhyme well.) My wife broke-character and ordered a breakfast sandwich. She normally goes for something more exotic, but as it turns out, this choice was a hit. Sometimes, simple things can offer great pleasures-and her egg and bacon filled biscuit offered proof of this statement. I listened to the imagined whisper of the watchful hawk, and decided to follow his raptorial wisdom/advice. Soon, the bacon quesadilla was placed before me (see photo). I added a splash of the locally produced hot sauce offered with a bit of ketchup and it all came together beautifully. The textures of the grilled tortilla; the barely not too hot melted cheese, and the crispy thick slices of bacon were as close to perfection that plate of breakfast could come. It really was good-eating in the neighborhood. We both ordered the fried potatoes with peppers and onions. If you go and don't get one of these, it will be a rookie move. Do not forget to order this side...esta muy bueno! It is actually a lot of food, and my better-half and I agreed that we could have split the dish. But, as we stood to say our good-byes and thank you's, neither of our plates had any evidence that fried potatoes had recently rested upon them. They actually looked like they had just been taken from the dishwasher--spot less. All-and-all, this place quickly worked its way into my heart. It's got wonderful chow (just In case I didn't emphasize how tasty is was--it was "really-really-really" good eats). The entire Raptor Canyon's staff shared pleasant demeanors, and the place has a comfortable and welcoming ambiance. Officially, I would categorize this establishment as a, "hidden gem" of Tucson.
