So i havent been to cheesecake factory in months i ask the waiter for the skinny licious beet and goat cheese salad he doesnt even tell me that you guys discontinued it on top of that everytime we would ask for something the waiter would act like he didnt hear us. My boyfriend surprised me one time and took me here. We were both very excited and eager to come here. But a few minor complains and a few big ones kind of turned me off. Lets start with the major ones. The food was pretty sub par. I realize there focus is on the cheesecake, but come on, you have to put some effort into the food! The menu was like an encyclopedia! It took forever to read through it. Way too many things on the menu, and what we had wasn't very good. They should really try shrinking that monster of a menu and do their dishes right. The food was not very good. Not bad, just not very good. They really have a little of everything, which I think its a problem. I know its a chain, but somebody up in HQ should give the menu a theme, not just anything they can think of. More about the food, the prices were really overboard. The portions are big, but I could see them try to skimp. They only gave a few shrimps in my pasta. And for some reason, I can't help feeling they're trying to make the portions look bigger by putting them on bigger plates. For the terribly high prices, it is not worth it. Minor complaints. It was very busy and our server didn't spend much time with us. When she came to our table it was to drop the food down and walk away. Definitely make a reservation. Our server sat us right next to another couple and our tables were really close. There was an empty table next to us that they could have sat us in. I know that sounds really minor, but I don't like the idea of being cluttered while I'm dining out. I think they make the tables closer together to fit more people in at once and get more revenue. And last stupid complaint, their uniforms make them look snooty and stuck up. They are trying to pull off a high class first class feel, but that's not what this restaurant is. But now for the good. This is one of the worst restaurant from hospitality point. Having heard of good things about this place, my wife decided to celebrate my birthday here. There was no waiting and we were given a table and menu. One waiter showed up and brought water for us and we waited for about 30 mins and no one came for taking an order. We also saw an old lady complaining that she was waiting on the table, every one else on her table got food except her and finally when she got it, it was not the right one. My boyfriend took me here Saturday around 4:00 and there was a long already trying to get a seat. Luckily we got seated pretty quickly, but where we sat wasn't really preferred. It was against a wall and I felt crammed and hidden. Once we sat down, the waitress didn't come to say hello or get our drink orders for a really long time. We picked our drinks, meal and even what dessert to get and she still wasn't there. Once she took our complete order she brought our drinks in less than 2 minutes which was great. Our food came out in less than 20 minutes but they messed up my simple order by adding something I said to leave out. They did take it back and fix it relatively quickly. The manager came to apologize and ask if I wanted a salad or something in the mean time for the inconvenience. I have to say that meant a lot that he came over to apologize, because it was brought to his attention that my order was messed up. The food was really good once we got to eat. My boyfriend loves his barbecue burger and I got the four cheese penne. Our next order he got cheesecake and I got the sundae and the portion was huge. This was my first ever visit to a Cheesecake Factory. It was a Saturday at 12:15pm. I sat myself at the bar. I ordered the Evelyn's Favorite Pasta dish. I was asked if I wanted the larger serving and I said yes. I enjoyed my meal while listening to contemporary adult music that sounds like it should be popular but isn't and watching college basketball on ESPN on tv. It was a small portion. Bland and dry pasta with a jacked up price is tough to swallow. Obviously from being hungry since I had just eaten here, I ordered the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cheesecake. That was pretty good and apparently very filling. There's a good staff and a vast menu but probably not worth the cost. There's no CF wifi and I couldn't connect to the mall's wifi but I did find a signal from a nearby store. read more

I am such a sucker for the Cheesecake Factory. The food is amazing, actually amazing. If you did a taste test, I don't think anyone would think it is a chain. My only complaint would be that the pumpernickel bread is TOO good. I would definitely recommend getting the nachos as an appetizer and the banana cream pie cheesecake for dessert. Wonderful service at this Cheesecake Factory location! After an AWFUL experience at the Rockaway location, I swore I would never return to this restaurant. While shopping in Willowbrook, I figured I would stop in to give it one more try at a different location. I was not disappointed and will continue to come back to this specific Cheesecake Factory! I especially wanted to write about the amazing waitress, Ashley R, who was not only very attentive to our table, but also had such a bright and positive personality. She gave us plenty of time to pick out food and when the food was ready, it was all served in a timely manner. I ordered a side of spinach for my daughter and I... when I sampled it a big ass bug crawled out the spinach.... when the manager came instead of apologizing he said because I sat outside the bug was in my food... My updated review is because I feel the cheesecake factory is going downhill. I have been here 2 more times since my original review. I ordered the mac n cheese balls which have gotten significantly smaller. The cheese triangles my friend ordered had no cheese in them. Burger was ok but again much smaller now the meat only takes up 2/3 of the bun. Getting less for same price which isn't cheap. My past 2 visits, the service has been substandard. They asked that how many people we are and while I was telling they did not listen anymore they just asked my name and then they saw my kid and they mad of me because of my child. They told me " wait at least half an hour because you did not tell you are 3" the problem is that they never listen to me , their attitude was soo rude putting high chair is not difficult. I always receive great service here. It's never too much or too less of service. It's perfect. If any problems arise with your food, they're willing to take the food back and correct it or just take it off the bill. The managers are very nice too. My Friend and I were there yesterday for a girl's lunch. Dana was our server. She eas extremely sweet, even when my friend and I were uncertain about the prices. We came here to celebrate my dad and brother's birthdays together and had the most lackluster dinner experience. Our waitress, Michelle D., had an attitude from the very beginning and didn't seem to want to be there. We only ordered waters with lemon, which she didn't seem very pleased about. Our group of four ordered a Louisiana Chicken Pasta, Four Cheese Pasta with chicken, and Thai Lettuce Wraps. There was no penne pasta so we subbed the Four Cheese Pasta with fettuicine. When our orders arrived, the grilled chicken in the Thai Lettuce Wraps was burned. When we brought up the chicken with Michelle, all she said was "Yeah, those are grill marks." We've been coming to The Cheesecake Factory for years and have never seen the chicken come out like this, and we know what grill marks look like. She picked the plate up, touching the lettuce on the plate, and asked "Are you sure you don't want to cut it?" I'm unsure of what she was trying to get at, as cutting the chicken open wouldn't just magically remove the grill marks. My mother at that point told Michelle that she knew what grill marks looked like and this chicken was burned. Michelle took it back to the kitchen and presumably asked the kitchen to make it again. After taking a couple mouthfuls of my Four Cheese Pasta, I realized that there was no cheese in my pasta; this was just pasta with tomato sauce. I decided to stop eating so I could go home and put my own cheese on it because trying to take it up with Michelle would probably result in me being told that there was cheese there. A nearby table also ordered the Four Cheese Pasta and let me tell ya, there was cheese on that diners plate. Michelle finally arrived back with the Thai Lettuce Wraps where the chicken was slightly less burned and more edible so my parents just gave up and ate it. Clearly there was no point, based on our experiences with Michelle. Honestly, the best part of this meal was the bread. Instead of sticking around to continue celebrating the birthdays with cheesecake, we got the check and picked up a slice at the to-go counter. We didn't want to stick around for Michelle's attitude or her "service". We also observed her service to people around us who ordered drinks and appetizers, so it's clear that she is capable of good service. I don't know if Michelle made a snap judgement to not provide good service because we didn't order drinks or appetizers but it's not ok. This was definitely not the celebratory birthday dinner we had in mind. My family has been going to The Cheesecake Factory for years and we've never had such terrible service or meals. The Cheesecake Factory will likely not be our first choice when we choose to celebrate happy occasions in the future. read more

Came here yesterday, it was pretty cold and my dad wanted to take us down to cheesecake. Our server was Zeta (I think that was her name). She was very attentive and quick with good service. She refilled bread and drinks quickly. She also was very knowledgeable of the menu, knowing lunch sizes and if there were options we had to choose from. The atmosphere was pretty dark but the snow outside brightened up the room. The music was stuff you'd hear from a light alternative playlist on spotify. Our family ordered the ahi tartare as an appetizer and I ordered the Firecracker Salmon because I wasn't that hungry. The ahi tartare was really good. The chips were incredibly crunchy and added to the texture of the raw fish. The avocado cooled things down and added flavor to the soy ginger sauce. It had a tangy and nutty flavor to it. The firecracker salmon was pretty good. Wrapped in a crisp wrapper tied off with some spinach. The salmon was pretty good, spiced but I couldn't taste it because the spinach kind of took over the show. Otherwise the sweet hot chili sauce made up for it. All in all, a good cheesecake experience and I'd come back maybe to try some more food and some cheesecake. read more

Decided to the try the Cheesecake Factory. Never been to one before and frankly will never bother again. We sat down and the first thing I noticed was the filthy silverware and not just one piece but all of them. How does it even make it to the table that way? Then I tried to open the menu and all the pages were stuck together. The rest of my party also was treated to dirty menus. Then I looked at the table and there was stuff stuck to it and it was sticky. DISGUSTING! We left without eating...It was the only time I left a restaurant because of how dirty it was. Visited for the first time in many years. Always loved this place. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and decided to have appetizers and drinks. We ordered the Guava Daiquiri and the Pineapple Ginger martini. For appetizers we chose the Stuffed Mushrooms, Avocado Egg Rolls and the Arugula and Prosciutto Flatbread Pizza. By far the best dish was the flatbread pizza. Crust was well toasted, with layers of cheese, prosciutto and arugula. Well balanced and sooo delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were our second favorite. Piping hot and stuffed with gooey cheese. Unfortunately the avocado rolls were not as we expected. Bland tasting, greasy and the accompanying sauce overwhelmed the taste of the rolls. All that being said the most upsetting part of the night was the bill. We noticed that the drinks didn't have printed prices next to each drink. We were extremely disappointed to find that our drinks made up 50% of our bill. The value of the shared plates was surpassed by the overpriced drinks. Because of that we decided to bypass the trademark cheesecake. Really was going for a better experience although the food fairly good and I would still go back and give it another chance but i won't ever have drinks here again. read more

This is your typical chain Cheesecake Factory restaurant attached to the Willowbrook Mall. It is usually very busy and crowded. The food is usually decent (nothing bad, not extraordinary either). Overall it is not a horrible place to eat but if you plan on going to a five star restaurant this is not the place. read more

I have been here for lunch several times and their salads are always delicious and generous. But their Sunday Brunch/Breakfast is what keeps us coming back. Hubby got an omelet with Spinach, sauteed mushrooms, smoked bacon, melted cheese plus a bagel and Cream cheese and breakfast potatoes. I got the California omelet: avocado, mushrooms, green onions, garlic, shallots, sour cream and melted jack, Swiss and cheddar. Plus toast and breakfast potatoes. Both omelets were super fresh and delicious and the portions were very generous. I have always found the service to be very friendly and professional as well. Thank you to our sweet server Rachel! As much as we would have loved to indulge in a piece of their outrageous cheesecake we behaved ourselves and passed but got to drool over their display case on the way out. read more

Absolute worst service ever. Ordered Chicken Caesar Salad they ran out then ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and they ran out of that too. Out of our party of 9 they only brought 6 meals. After the water finally came to check on us did he go back and look for the other 3 meals. He brought out two more with one having rice that looked like mash potatoes because it was sitting so long under the heat lamp. The food runner said the food was made but the chefs never said it was ready. The 3rd order had to be remade and when the "manager of sort" came said sorry dropped the plate and left. Never made any attempt to address our issues. The actual manager came over listened to our complaints but at that point it was already two late. After waiting 2 hours for our table(not mad at that because we were a large party with no reservation) it was almost another 2 hours waiting for all our meals. The cheesecake is excellent, the main courses are average, and the service is downright POOR. My God are they SLOW there! Every time I go I wait 30-40 minutes for my food, not to mention the 20-30 minute wait just to get a table. There are always a ton of people present, and they seem to like to linger a bit too long after their meal as well, IMO. Perhaps it would be a good idea for the company to build another restaurant in a neighboring town? Just a thought. I have to say that out of all chain restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory is one that I actually like, and haven't had not one bad experience at. I think their food is decent, and the portions are absolutely huge (maybe even too big). They have really yummy soups and salads and I almost always get a pasta dish. My favorite is the Evelyn's Favorite. And the cheesecakes and desserts are of course good, seemingly so because it is named after it. Their drinks are also pretty yummy and the service is always good (for a chain restaurant). This one in Wayne is definitely my favorite. read more
