Crème brûlée

We loved having dinner at the Clearwater for our wedding anniversary. The waiter was so knowledgeable and helpful with all of our substitutions. And they even brought us dessert.

Steak Thermidor. Yum!

Hubby and I ate here before seeing a Journey Tribute band. We started with French onion soup and Caesar salad. The soup was very tasty and the salad was basic. They give you sourdough bread and olive bread and we enjoyed both. Hubby got a steak pasta dish and said it had so much flavor and was truly delicious. I had the steak Thermidor. The steak was very tender and well seasoned and the lobster was good. The prices are not too bad. We will certainly be back!

This place was nice. Minus some onions slices on the floor by our table, but I can overlook that, out of sight out of mind. Our server was so sooo nice. We had reservations 8pm on Sunday evening and there was maybe 2-3 other tables. I had a Coke to drink and for my meal I ordered the Steak Thermidor as my meal. Birthday boy had a Coors Light and Steak Cavatappi. My fiancé said his Coors Light smelled weird/tasted weird. He liked his meal but choked on it 3 bites in and stepped out, he was gone most of our dinner date. *sad. But that was no fault of the restaurant. When he came back, he drank more of his beer and ended up choking more/spit/kinda threw up and didn't get to finish his meal. He said it was good though. Like an elevated Mac n cheese with Steak. The steak thermidor was great! The steak was VERY tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I had never had thermidor butter before but I liked it! It was creamy and light. Went perfectly with the lobster medallions and steak. I also asked for bordelaise sauce on the side for a little dipping variety. Overall it was a great dinner aside from my date choking and being absent 80% of the time. The staff was so nice they kept asking if he was okay. Even though my date was unable to finish his dinner and we had to leave earlier than anticipated, the server still offered a complimentary birthday dessert!

Nice dining experience! Beautiful restaurant with waterfront view, terrific service and food was delicious! Had Valentines Weekend in the hotel and hubby booked us dinner in the restaurant! Was lovely! Their Diablo Steak bites were so tender and flavorful, sushi was good! I could have stopped there, ordered their prime rib and had a few bites, delicious with the potatoes. Took off a Star for the sautéed mushrooms, presentation wasn't very good and too much wine flavor. Then the side of Brussel sprouts my husband ordered was massive, a tray of Brussel sprouts all for him! He barely made a dent in the massive tray, because I don't eat the vial little cabbage balls! Childhood horror memory with a mother who loved them and forced me to eat them! No thank you! There is nothing to love about those! We were stuffed to say the least! Took doggy bags of prime rib bits to go for doggy at home along with dessert for midnight snack in case hunger hit, it didn't! Waiter, Adrian was a delight, very friendly and attentive! Loved our dinner here! Will go again, make reservations ahead of time, weeks in advance! They were fully booked tonight and it's obvious why!

Broken lid and missing spout

I have to admit that I am being a little petty. We asked for hot sauce and I noticed the lid was broken. No biggie... but as I joked to my wife while pouring it on my dish, it actually poured out. The inner spout was missing. Again, not that big of a deal as my steak dish (Diablo bites) was served in a soup like sauce/bowl and I saw right away what was happening. My only issue is when I joked to the staff "you might want to take this bottle out of commission" and explained what happened they seemed to not understand what I was talking about.

Service is bad. Table games closes at 12 on weekdays. Food options are horrible too. I threw away half of the order we got at the deli-it was overcooked. The fish and chips the only edible jte. Since they didn't make it there. No one seems to care about their job or the customers, with 3 people ahead of me, we waited for 5 minutes before we can order.

Everytime an absolutely amazing get away. Great food and the best views . Rooms are luxurious and the walls are thick enough you're not hearing everyone else around you. Our absolute favorite casino getaway. Staff is always happy and clearly loving thier job. I always feel like a VIP.

I have dined here several times in the past and the food was a bit better than last night. I got the stuffed halibut with a potato, asparagus, and bread and butter. The bread was warm enough for the butter to spread easily but had a stale thing going on. Edible but not excellent. The halibut was super small but remarkably tasty. The asparagus and the baked potato I sent back. Asparagus looked a unique color not quite green and tasted awful. It was sad because I love asparagus usually. The baked potato was not only small and overcooked but ridiculously cold. They exchanged for spinach. Would have been good but someone cooking thought a very heavy hand on adding lemon to the saute spinach was a good idea. It wasn't! They sent me out another overcooked luke warm potato. The best part of this not so good experience was Johnathan my waiter. He was personable, attentive, on point with everything. Not his fault the food was subpar. All of the staff were good. It was a joy to see happy people giving good service in a time when restaurants are challenged to find enough caring and good employees. That level of customer service pushed my rating from zero to 2. I will go back because I am all about giving second chances. Wish I hadn't wasted my earned comps and points on this meal but glad I got to use them.

We visited the Clearwater Casino this afternoon. Our fist impression was that the parking was excellent. Once we walked inside from the East Parking Garage, we found ourselves in the smoking area of the casino. We quickly left that in the dust and found the majority was very well kept so we decided on The Clearwater for dinner. Everyone we encountered was on their game- the hostess found a table for us, in spite of the fact that we had no reservations. The servers were attentive & refilled waters, tea, & soda when they ran low. We faced the bay & had a wonderful meal of salads (both the baby spinach & the Caesar salads were phenomenal), and sushi. The sushi was a hit as well. Couple this with slots that paid out & this place deserves another visit- especially since we're free rolling on their bank.

This is more than a shoutout... it is a full-on, well deserved tribute to Sully's Bistro in…read moreSuquamish. This review will be a bit long, but I feel it's important to acknowledge when businesses go well above and beyond... into orbit in this case. Not only did they work to exceed expectations, but to set the ultimate standard for customer service and to demonstrate a commitment to caring for people beyond the customer-business relationship. This post is also a message both as an endorsement for diners, but also an advisory to every other business in this county. Take note - this is a roadmap for how you win forever customers: Last Saturday, my daughter got married in Poulsbo, in a ceremony that involved guests from Alaska, California, and Colorado. On the Sunday morning afterward, my wife Gayle and I threw a brunch celebration for our out of town guests as a thank you for making the journey for our daughter's special day. We made the reservation back in February in order to ensure they would have room for 20+ guests. At some point between then and now, Sully's decided to stop serving brunch. We didn't need to be their problem. It would have been easy to call or email us and let us know that our plans would have to change... with sincere apologies and an explanation as to why - blah blah blah, and with enough notice to get a reservation elsewhere, maybe. They didn't. In fact, they didn't even tell us they'd stopped brunch service. Some of our guests were calling us and asking: "Hey, Google says they're closed. Are you sure about this?" We didn't know, but figured we'd show up and find out. Instead, Sully's made sure to have enough staff a few hours early on Sunday, enough food, broke out the old brunch recipe book and dusted it off, and cleared the patio and set it up. All of that work just to ensure our guests had brunch. And a fabulous time. This was solely for our benefit. They weren't going to make a lot of money on just our party. Truth be told, they might have even lost some on it. They could have just shrugged us off. But they honored their commitment, even though it was a hassle, and a lot of extra work. Even though it meant knowing they'd have to special order food just for us, even though it meant more expense. And - not to belabor the point - they trusted US to honor *our* agreement to come. They hadn't taken a deposit. We could have ghosted them, especially if we'd believed Google's page saying they were closed. After all, we were strangers to them. But they treated us like family. And then... ...they crushed it with the food, the drinks, the service. They setup a special U-shaped table, complete with linens and flowers, and showcased a view of the Duwamish Sea that is unmatched in Kitsap County dining. I'd list all the food items and give a review - each one a culinary gem. But that would be cruel. I'd be bragging about food we had that won't be available to the community at large again (unless they bring back brunch... pretty please). No, what I wanted to call out was how deeply touched my wife and I were at their willingness to honor their promise, our reservation, and then go the extra mile to make it special. They didn't have to. But they did. And our guests were incredibly impressed, both with the food and the service. Thank you, with our whole heart, to the people of Sully's... from the owner on down to the staff. You made our day so very special. And while they may not serve brunch anymore... I urge you to go there for lunch or dinner. Support a restaurant that demonstrates loves for its community through its actions, not just words or fancy FB posts. And get the wings! (My personal fave) You won't regret it. Cheers to you, Sully's! We'll be diners with you for life.

The ones we had were pretty fatty so I wouldn't get them again. The flavor was your typical buffalo sauce. I liked it. The chowder was delicious! I'd get that again for sure. I ordered the cioppino. I loved it! Good amount of clams and shrimp. The fish was a little overcooked but tasted great in the broth. My husband got a turkey cheddar bacon melt, and fries. Fries were great, the sandwich not so much. Really dry and flavorless. Would not recommend. My blood orange fizz drink I got was really good. Is it worth the drive?....yes

The ambiance is attractive and we were immediately greeted and seated upon our arrival. There is a private lot. I started with an exotic drink with mezcal and fresh blackberries since this is blackberry country. I forget the name but it is on the picture. It was delicious. The wife had Passion Fruit and it was also delicious. For entrees, the wife had chicken mole and did not care for it. The chicken was bone-in which is normally fine, but she did not care for this chicken. The mole was very spicy. There is a difference between flavorful with a kick or slow burn, but this was overtly spicy. She did not eat much and did not take it home. I had an exotic dish which I don't remember the name but it was essentially a chicken stew served in mortar bowl. Rice and black beans came on the side, but I added them to the stew to make it thicker. It was delicious. Very flavorful with a slow burn. If the review were based on this dish alone, it would be 5 stars. Our server was attentive and helpful. I liked the vibe and food more than the wife did, We are in Poulsbo only a couple of days so we probably won't return, but if we were here longer I would lobby for a return.

The flour tortillas were a bit disappointing considering they were be made fresh at the entrance 3/5.

The Vacio wagyu is always perfectly tender, and continually warmed on the hot stone with its accompanying salt and chimichurri. That item alone makes me go out of my way to fulfill a craving. An honorable mention goes to their complimentary refried bean tostadas, which is very underrated. The loaded Papa Loca potato is large for sharing, perfectly baked the first time, but underbaked/too starchy the second time. The mushrooms aren't special enough with just a coating of cheese and an unappetizing heavy hand of red pepper flake coating. My toddler honestly has a palate for good burgers, but his dislike was mutual; tasting it it out of curiosity, the wagyu cheeseburger needed more flavor, while the fries seemed over-cooked in old oil. The first time on a weekday, everything seemed great. The second time around for a busy Mother's Day weekend, it just seemed everything was rushed, especially the food preparation.

My flight consisted of the Pappy Van Winkle 23 years, Colonel EH Taylor Distiller's Council, Very Olde St. Nick Superfreak, and Wild Turkey Austin Nichols 16 years. It was super nice trying all of these rare bottles that I wouldn't even be able to find, and they were all interesting and delicious! The food here is also fantastic.
