    Pancakes, bacon, and a biscuit
    Mike K.

While I know going to a place as highly regarded like this, you should try one of their well known items. I just went for the basic breakfast of pancakes, bacon and a biscuit. This place did all the regular items perfectly. The place was packed and for good reason. My service was great as I was consistently checked in on, checking in on food and water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment of Boulder City and this diner are also beautiful in their own marks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I needed a place to eat after visiting the Hoover dam and this place was perfect.

Delicious breakfast options with bottomless coffee in a cute downtown - what's not to like?? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outside and inside are covered with travel kitsch which makes for fun photos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food arrives hot, fresh, and filling - had the Papa Con Chili Verde - hash browns with green chile and cheese, pico de gallo and tortillas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Be aware that there are limited bathrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The downtown is very fun to walk around in with lots of shops and bars, and street parking is easy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is incredible. So many delicious looking options that it was hard to choose what I wanted to eat. Everything we ordered was awesome. Super affordable prices too. I'm definitely coming back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute breakfast joint in Boulder City.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fast and friendly, no complaints about the food at all! I ordered the country fried steak, which was a big portion and tasted great. My favorite part of the breakfast was actually the toast though, it was thick and pillowy! The perfect piece of toast to go along with the coffee :)

All stop here for the best "dam cup of coffee !"

The crowds, always crowds around this establishment! Wow it looks amazing! We are not even sure what's happening and all the fun and happy here ! Let's check it out ! The fun starts outside and to see that this is a great place to eat and enjoy together . How special! Since its inspection in 1994, they serve American eats and drinks. In fact it's the best Dam cup of coffee too. It's family owned . It obvious that it's great . It's so busy after you order you hear the order when it's ready over the loud speaker. How epic ? If you can, only by chance get a spot outside to dine it's great to watch all the bikes and cars that come across the street. Located on Main Street, this is the spot that they all stop and share their stories at. What an incredible experience here? We are outsiders and get involved it's very exciting. The coffee will make it all worth it . How about the decor of this place? Stickers from all over they paint a picture of the peace and harmony that indicates the stories others have shared here. So much rich history. Come and check it out.

I finally stopped here for breakfast! It has gotten real popular since it was featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. There was a line but got seated quickly since it was just me...the counter moves faster! My server was Danielle - even though they were busy she was super attentive. Actually everyone working the counter was great & cheerful. I always think the owners must be good to their staff when literary everyone working is smiling. I got the country omelette with the gravy on the side & coffee. The jalapeno peppers gave it a nice little punch of flavor. Highly recommend...so glad I finally stopped in!

Love the interior decor especially during December this is my first time here we've never been inside before the times we come it's usually closed. The prices are very fairly priced and the pastries are made fresh daily. And they look amazing . The nitro cold brew with lavender is absolutely insane the lavender is so strong with i personally love the almond bear claw is next level. The staff was polite the place is very clean smells amazing and it's very warming and cozy. Love the place I'll be back for sure sooner than later. Keep up the hard work it shows.!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's just a pleasure having breakfast or lunch at this very historic diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Never disappoints. Tried the fish and chips this time and they were delicious. Always plentiful servings of fries. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere is very American.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A must go to in Boulder City minutes to Hoover Dam. Still highly recommended. Service and staff are always top notch.

We stopped in for some breakfast, had the breakfast tacos - & the kahuna burger that was mentioned on the food network. I liked the French fries that came with the burger so much! As for the burger itself, it was good a slip & slider for sure because of the pineapple & sauce. Bf loved his breakfast tacos, second time hes ordered them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance in there.. like a cracker barrel vibe with many things to look at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back again! Service was good & we were in and out quickly.

This spot is perfect for homey comfort foods! Please take into consideration wait times may be long. (I went on a weekend table for 2 was about a 35min wait.) luckily they have a bar where you can order mimosas and bloody Mary's from while you wait! The omelette here was delish.

We love visiting Historic Boulder City and this past Friday took advantage of the cooler weather and came here for brunch shortly after 9:00 AM. No lines yet! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice vibe inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly service. The Meatloaf with 2 eggs and French toast was excellent! The Godfather Plate was a little spicy and also good but the Meatloaf entree was better. The pancake was good too. Huge portions! I couldn't resist purchasing a souvenir coffee mug--- perfect size!

My go to breakfast spot in Boulder right in the heart of the downtown area. The food is always great and I love the cute mugs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom is clean which I always appreciate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are very popular so there is usually a wait. The service is friendly and efficient. You never feel rushed but they still get your food out quickly so you can get on with your day and your adventures.

Let me just say that I don't frequent Starbucks or the other big coffee chains on a daily basis…read morehowever, I love a good cup of coffee especially when I know its from Colorado River Coffee Roasters. I was first turned on to CRCR by good friend and former owner of Bread and Butter Chris Herrin. A few months later while dining at Eat in downtown, I enjoyed that same delicious smooth cuppa joe,(unfortunatey, both B&B and Eat no longer use them) and knowing that they were in Boulder City, I knew one of these days I HAD TO go straight to the source. Pulling up to their storefront, it looks like nothing from the outside but as you enter, the smell of roasting coffee beans hit you like WOW!!! We met Don and Erik Anderson who are responsible for making some of the most delicious coffee you will have ever tasted(if you haven't yet). They were even nice enough to give us a little behind the scenes tour and explain their delicate roasting process using state of the art equipment (infrared heat, not open fire) and even offered tips on how to enjoy their product in the best possible way. We decided to grab a bag of one of Eirk's favorite blends-Bolivia: Amor De Dios, a 12 ounce bag for $10. If you're looking for a specific characteristic, flavor, etc. they have other blends available and Erik will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. If you haven't had a taste of Colorado River Coffee Roasters, places like Grouchy John's, Great Harvest Bread Company, and Sambalatte have their own blends from CRCR that they serve up. You may also purchase coffee from CRCR online which will be delivered right to your doorstep, or better yet, take a drive to Boulder City and go straight to the source and get an even fresher product! Here are some helpful tips that Erik and Don suggested: COFFEE: DO NOT grind the beans fine...a coarse grind is suggested WATER: DO NOT boil your water!... 200 degrees Farenheit... no higher! EQUIPMENT: No fancy equipment/gadgets here- a FRENCH PRESS is their weapon of choice, and how Erik and Don enjoy the fruits of their labor.... DOSAGE: Start with an equal ratio of 1 gram beans to 1 gram water and steep for 4 minutes...if it isn't strong enough, increase the beans to your liking STORAGE: Store beans in a cool, dark place....DO NOT refrigerate or freeze!!! BEST BY: Enjoy within 1 MONTH of purchase Erik and Don have also been chosen as one of the top seeded companies to compete later this year on the National level in Seattle with the best in the country. Best of luck to Erik and Don who have single handedly put Nevada on the coffee map, and forget the big chains....BUY LOCAL!!!! ALOHA!!!

Wait Time: Between all three visits, there was an average wait time of 20-30 minutes. When we arrived to the window to pay on our first visit, we were told to take a lap around the drive-thru and that our order would be ready upon our return. It turned out we arrived to the window and waited about 20 minutes before we received our order. Order: With the wait time in mind, please remember that Rome wasn't built in a day--so don't expect a quality meal to be ready within five minutes. With that being said, we ordered the 1). double cheeseburger with fries, 2). crispy chicken sandwich with fries, 3). fish and chips, 4). chicken tenders, 5). a strawberry shake, and 6). a chocolate shake between our three visits. The quality across all three visits was consistent and detailed here: 1). The Double Cheeseburger was cooked to our doneness preference. The bun was toasted with light butter and a slight crunch to the bite. The patties were juicy and well-seasoned. The cheese was evenly melted on the patties. The condiments did not overpower the patties' flavor. The toppings were the standard lettuce, tomato, and onions--which worked harmoniously with the rest of the burger, making for one of the best burgers I have ever had. Upon first glance, it meets my expectations of what a burger should be. 2). Much like the Double Cheeseburger, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich was of excellent quality. All of its components worked collectively to deliver in flavor and texture, including the toasted bun with the slight crunch. It was a perfect Crispy Chicken Sandwich. 3). The Fries were flavorful (fry seasoning, salt), crinkle cut, and evenly fried throughout (i.e. you did not have some hard pieces and some soggy pieces). We recommend a side of ranch for dipping. 4). The Fish and Chips were your standard Fish and Chips--and I mean that in the best way. They were fried until the classic golden and served with tartar sauce. Again, everything you would expect out of Fish and Chips. 5). While the Chicken Tenders were good, they were not outstanding. We would not order them again due to the other superior items on the menu. 6). The Strawberry Shake was flavored with fresh strawberries and like the Chicken Tenders, it was not outstanding. The Chocolate Shake was a classic Chocolate Shake. If you are craving a shake, then go for it. Otherwise, there isn't anything that would separate these shakes from another good quality shake. Both shakes leaned toward a thicker consistency. Note: The medium sized shakes are huge. If we ever get one again in the future, we will order a small instead. Service: We felt welcomed during each visit and did not feel rushed at the intercom (all three of our visits were through the drive-thru). Prior to visiting, we were unsure of what to expect with the mixed reviews and ultimately decided that we would just find out for ourselves. We are so grateful that we made the choice to try Chilly Jilly'z, because it is now one of our favorite spots in Southern Nevada. We definitely recommend that you give it a try!

They could probably get another 4+ tables in here if they did. Not a negative, just an observation. The menu was filled with interesting stuff. We landed on 3 very different things. There was a sweet potato bowl on the menu that looked tasty, and while reviewing the menu I watched one get delivered to a table and it looked delicious and it was ENORMOUS! I wasn't sure I wanted to each that much so I went with a chicken wrap, my wife ordered a pizza, and my sister in law ordered a "small" salad. We decided to sit outside and they brought us our food and a sample of the soup of the day as a complementary treat (or it was included with our orders, not 100% sure) the soup was a ham/lentil/bacon recipe and it was delicious. My wrap was pretty tasty too, it could have used something to add crunch, maybe wonton strips or something like that. The flavor was great though. My wife's pizza was a bit too cheesy and slightly undercooked, but it was still tasty. If we ordered that again I'd probably ask they cooked it a couple minutes longer. The "small" salad was HUGE! I can't imagine what the large is like and I can't believe the price for what you get there. It looked amazing and fresh. My sister in law said it was very good. Overall I do think they have a couple things to work on but I loved the experience and I would come again if I was in the area. It was an incredible value for the quality of the food and that's why I'm still giving them 5 stars. For about $35 it was an absolute steal for 3 people.
