Drove to the Hoover Dam and was hungry so we stopped at the Coffee Cup in Boulder. That was a highlight of the trip. A traditional diner with real nice folks smiling and saying hello to each other. The service was the best we had in Nevada. The pancakes were fluffy and omelette done right. This is a DDD famous diner bc of their Bloody Mary's and other amazing options. This is worth the trip to Boulder City if visiting LV and if you have a car. It's a quaint little town on the way to the Hoover Dam with kitschy shops and eateries. The Coffee Cup was featured on Triple D and it did not disappoint. We had to wait for a table but not for long. Service was outstanding and the food was even better. It's a diner with a variety of food options from breakfast all day, burgers, and comfort food. We had one of each and we all shared tasting the comfort goodness that is known at The Coffee Cup. I had the pork chili verde omelette and it didn't disappoint with moist pork wrapped up in fluffy eggs. The Godfather plate was amazing mix of tostadas with Mexican-inspired ingredients culminating into an awesome plate. It's worth the trip. read more

We placed an order to go and they had it ready as soon as we arrived. We ordered the Big Texan Omelette and the 123 Special. My boyfriend thought his omelette was good. I liked my biscuit and gravy. I wish the gravy had some sausage with it but I am a huge sausage and gravy person. The bacon was nice and crispy and was cooked perfectly. The eggs over medium was just how I liked them. Super cute diner in the closest town to the Hoover Dam. It appears to always have a line during peak times. I would say that it was a little too packed inside for my personal Covid limitations. We ordered food to go, which came out very quickly. Apparently they are famous for their bloody Mary - so we got one, it had Bacon as a garnish, and was tasty! We split a cinnamon roll (which was unimpressive, other than its size), and Chili verde omelet which was very good, though could have used more chili in it. read more

I thought that I reviewed the Coffee Cup years ago but no record to be found. Arrived on Saturday morning at 9 AM and there was a line inside and outside. We waited 25 minutes outside and the time passed quickly by looking at the antiques at the store next door. Once seated the service was prompt. This is a family run restaurant and they aim to make you happy. All walls are packed with photos and treasures to enjoy. The Pork Chili Verde Omelet is excellent. Juicy and tender chunks of pork. Although I would have liked more of the Chili Verde sauce. The order comes with a choice of sides and mine was fruit and toast. The Virgin Bloody Mary had a nice kick. If you can't take these in jest, I'd recommend you just move along. I had a Mimosa to start it off, subbing cranberry for orange juice, and requested a side of limes. If you haven't tried this Mimosa variation, you're missing out!! Their Mimosas are not in a fancy flute, your getting a full 12 oz cocktail for $7. Sweet!! We ordered the chile verde omelette and I'm sad to say we didn't stop for photos....we gobbled it right up. I've been going here since 2015 always been my number one favorite breakfast/lunch place I've ever had. Really good the food is amazing and always never fails to surprise me whenever I eat there. I go here once every 3 months or so and the peaceful atmosphere even though there's a lot of people here is amazing. It's always crowded but it's not really that loud. The service is amazing, the workers have always been nice and friendly. For lunch I would recommend the burger always a really good burger never disappoints. The prices aren't that bad at all for the amount of food you get. For breakfast I recommend the burrito or biscuits and gravy. Really nice environment and amazing restaurant never fails to impress me. 10/10 read more

Been here multiple times. We come here when we want to escape Vegas for a bit for that old town vibe or whenever we decide to hike around Boulder City. The business is currently open and they have posters about social distancing guidelines and they have tapes on the floor but they don't really sit every other table unlike other restaurants. The workers do not wear masks either which was a bit odd for me... thought it's mandated for businesses but recommended for customers. They also have seatings outside if you prefer that, but there won't be any shades so you will be in direct sunlight. Before covid, the hostess would actually guide you to your table and give you the menus. But now, the cashier/front desk just hands you the menu and points at where your table is. We came here with 5 people in our party. I find the table to be really small for 5 people. Especially with their gigantic menus. The foods were pretty good. The Chile verde sauce is really delicious, and my croissant was simple yet appetizing. The French toasts are good but pretty dry and basic. Basically, if you are looking for a traditional breakfast spot with an old town vibe, this place is a good spot. But if you are looking for foods that are more modern and "Instagram" worthy, you're better off going to a non-traditional breakfast spot.
