If you haven't tried The Corner Kitchen-Concord, you're missing out! They make terrific sliders, fries, skewers, wings, salads, and other goodies. They grind their own beef and offer vegetarian and vegan sliders and sides. The last time I visited, I tried the CK Classic and the Chicken Habenero Mango. I also got a side of mini fries with their vegan mushroom gravy. Everything was yummy! My two favorite sliders are the Mushroom Swiss and the Beef and Brie, but I try to get different sliders each visit. They offer beer and wine and have many TVs to catch the games. We intentionally decided to try out The Corner Kitchen because of all the great reviews. My friend ordered the Fried Chicken Slider and the Spicy Chicken Slider. She noted the Spicy Chicken Slider had a larger piece of chicken and the spice had a kick to it. She likes spicy so the flavor was right down her alley. The Fried Chicken Slider was pretty good. The garlic fries were crunchy with lots of flavor and lots of garlic. She enjoyed both sliders and thought the garlic fríes was a great choice! I ordered the Blue Slider: house ground angus patty blue cheese, caramelized onions, garlic aioli Orange Hoisin Slider - braised pork shoulder, napa cabbage slaw, and orange hoisin sauce I really loved the flavor of the Blue Slider. My friend noted that the angus beef was ground in-house. It definitely made a difference in flavor because the angus beef slider was delicious. The Orange Hoisin Slider was good, but I think the idea of sliders, angus beef is my preference. I think if I order the Orange Hoisin Slider again, I will ask for it to be served with rice instead of a bun. It appears rice or greens is an option with any slider. My husband ordered: C.K. Classic Slider - house ground patty, cheddar, lettuce pickle and C.K. sauce BBQ Bacon Slider - house ground patty, cheddar, crispy onions, bacon and BBQ sauce My husband loved both sliders and the french fries were thin and crispy with a great seasoning . I didn't miss it not having garlic on it. We ordered the Garlic Parmesan Chicken wings. It was garlicky and I would order it again. I am impressed with the quality of food The Corner Kitchen offers! They have a well deserved five star rating! I can't believe it took us so long to check out this spot. We stopped by after a hike to grab lunch. We were greeted quickly and warmly. Service continued to be fantastic throughout our visit. They offer up something for everyone--beef, chicken, pork, salmon, and even a bunch of plant-based vegan options. I love the slider options because that way we could share/sample a few things. We shared a half order of the Fully Loaded Fries. These are "sidewinder" fries (thick, spiraly ones) and, while I love myself a skinny fry, these thicker ones are perfect to hold the bacon, cheese sauce, sour cream, and scallions. The half was plenty for the two of us--we may have even been okay with the mini. If you have more people, or larger appetites, they also have a full size. For slides, my honey and I both got a mushroom and beef slider and my honey also got one of the fried chicken sliders although I can't remember which one. I do remember that it was delicious. Lots of different options for burgers and fries and they are all made fresh and tasty! The fried chicken sandwiches are pretty solid, too. The fries are perfectly crispy, not too oily, and their garlic ones live up to the garlicky standard! There's also several sizes to choose from. Fast, friendly service, too. It's been a while since my last review, but my opinions remain. No matter who you are or what you like, the entire staff makes you feel right at home. The food, whatever you order, will come out perfect every time. I really enjoy the different specials they come up with. Now serving breakfast and opening up early on football Sundays. With several TV's and music in the background, you can enjoy watching sports or just listen to music. This is definitely my favorite place for lunch or dinner. Incredible food! Dare I say, actually the best food in the Concord area. Do not let the under the radar location fool you. Come eat here! Everything I've had here has been great. Really love the lemon dill salmon slider, fresh falafel with tzatziki and harissa, and the fact that they have a full plant based menu (ask for that menu if it doesn't come out by default). There are both healthy options and indulgent options. Something for everyone. This restaurant is also very kid friendly, and serves some alcohol...great for parents, haha. The Corner Kitchen is the type of family owned business where you just know they throw down in the kitchen. My sister and I stumbled upon the place while in Concord and quickly knew it was going to be good. It's in the outskirts of the city about 10 minutes out from the more commercial areas of Concord where malls and shops are. This place is huddled in the corner of a small plaza with a limited amount of parking. When you walk into the restaurant you can smell food being cooked and see how spacious and welcoming the shop is. Staff are friendly and the options on the menu offer so much variety between the sliders alone (but there's also wings, salads, fries, etc.) I ordered: - Bacon ranch slider - Garlic Fries - CK house sauce Let me tell you - EVERYTHING WAS SUPERIOR. My taste buds were rockin'. Despite sliders being small, the ones here pack a whole punch! My sister even said the same thing about the slide that she ordered, which was the Cali slider. I even tried some of her Cajun fries and was blown away - it was crisp and well seasoned on the outside, yet soft on the inside. The garlic fries I had was well covered in garlic, and my bacon ranch slider was savory and flavorful (the CK sauce made everything even better). I'm so excited to come back here again. I'm really proud of myself that I found this place. My husband knew right away that we're in the right place when our server(maybe the owner because he seems to really love his job) was wearing his favorite teams jersey. It's a little off the beaten path, but really worth it. We shared a bunch of sliders and they were all so delicious. My favorite was the mushroom Swiss medium. My husband's was the pulled pork, but it's really hard to choose. The sidewinder fries were the perfect taste and texture and one order was plenty for all four of us. Amazing food. Their plant-based cheese had the BEST flavor and texture. And the side-winder fries are a unique shape! Crispy fries fans will love it here. A lot of options on their menu too. The pulled pork and the BBQ was incredibly tasty, with perfect texture and crunch. Try the garlic fries with the BBQ sauce Service was really great and the people here seem kind, attentive, and patient. We appreciated their communication about what had gluten and dairy in it. I love the idea of sliders! Love trying more than one burger at a time. The fam ordered mushroom Swiss (our fav), fried chicken and pull pork. The flavors in the mushroom Swiss blended so well. The garlic aioli definitely played a big part in it. The fried chicken was ok. I was hoping for something a bit more crispy. I did like that it was hearty piece of chicken breast. Immediately welcomed by a friendly smiling face and wave from back in the kitchen/counter area. Felt like walking into your own families home. Even the customers all looked to feel at home throughout our dining experience. Our waitress was a doll and very helpful / told us the specials right off the back. The food was so so so good! I came in for a late lunch the other week and was greeted by the friendly owners. The Corner Kitchen has a great selection of sliders including : chicken, pork, beef, salmon and plant-based. I got a BBQ bacon beef slider and a fried chicken one. I also got an order of their garlic fries. The sliders were great and the perfect size for me to finish in one sitting. Although it is somewhat hidden, the staff members are courteous, and the environment is maintained to high cleanliness standards. The sliders were particularly enjoyable. Let me start by saying this is the first time I had ever been to or heard of this restaurant. Decided to try it. Phone order in, amazing service on the phone , asked if I wanted ranch without me even asking first . When I went in, service was excellent. Was greeted immediately and asked if I wanted to sit down. Food was ready when I got there , it was hot. Sliders are amazing. Beef and Brie, amazing. Hissala , amazing. The spicy seasoning compliments the Greek flavors exceptionally. Classic Fries were different , and crisp and delicious. Also ordered the salmon slider , cooked perfectly , just okay to me I think it was the sauce. The real star of the meal was the honey chipotle wings. My wife said these were the best in the whole meal and she immediately went "mmmm" when she took the first bite. Overall I'm coming back. The beef was cooked to perfection and the inside vibe gives you a great feel for a nice lunch stop or even a dinner bite. Priced well too. I think $5-$6 is a decent price for the sliders , which are a very nice portion. Shout out to The Corner Kitchen-Concord (3606 Willow Pass) for a delicious slider filled date night!! Hubby and I were discussing how frustrating it is to pay $$$ for a fancy date night meal but leave unimpressed by the flavors - so we headed to Corner Kitchen where we KNOW that is NOT TRUE. Each of their sliders are so delicious, meat patties are moist and rich, all of their sauces (including their homemade ranch dressing!!) are herbaceous and refreshing and their prices are on point! Last night, I had their classic CK burger, and a falafel burger - I devoured them each. Hubby had the buffalo chicken burger, fried honey chipotle chicken, and a bacon barbecue burger - nothing left on his plate either. We also ordered a side of their Cajun fries (woah, those are spicey!), a spilt of Chardonnay and a draft beer in a frosty glass! Stopped by after a workout as a friend recommended it. I'm very happy to see a local restaurant serving up awesome plant-based options! I had two sliders: Falafel and BBQ Pulled Mushroom. I also ordered chili fries with plant-based cheese. Overall, I enjoyed the portions and the flavors- it was really well done and made quickly. I was in/out in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be back to try more of the options in the near future. I hope indoor dining opens up again soon- I'd love to see some seating options out front.
